Every night from eight till midnight, come on by to see the Rad Pack Revue live, only right here at the Aces Theater!Tommy Torini

The Aces is an unmarked location within the Tops in the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas.

Layout

Set up like a traditional lounge theater, the Aces has a bar in the left corner where drinks can be purchased, and tables for the audience facing the stage in the front. There are usually a number of gamblers loitering around the seating area.

Performing acts

New acts can be found to perform in the Aces by talking to Tommy Torini, the manager, and starting the side quest Talent Pool. All acts follow a set schedule, and prior to completing Talent Pool, only The RAD Pack performs. As other acts are recruited during that quest, they will start performing at their scheduled times, and their names will appear on the marquee outside the Tops along the main street of the Strip.

To see a particular show, one must go to the Aces Theater, and use the wait command to wait until just before or a little after their start time. By waiting until shortly after the start time, the performance will begin from the beginning without needing to arrive at the exact time.

The schedule of acts (post-Talent Pool) includes:

Notes

Appearances

The Aces appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.

Behind the scenes

  • The RAD Pack is a reference to the real-world Rat Pack, a famous Las Vegas group consisting of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, Joey Bishop, and Dean Martin that performed in Las Vegas during the 1960s.
  • The songs played by the Lonesome Drifter and Bruce Isaac are all performed by game director J.E. Sawyer, who also wrote or co-wrote the songs.

Bugs

  • PCPC If the player has completed Talent Pool successfully, but one of the performers won't perform at the correct time, or one is stuck on stage and won't leave, it may be possible to reset the performance scripts using the console. While in the Aces theater, activate the console and type resetquest 125498. Leave the console and see if things have returned to normal. Wait for one of the performances to start and see if it starts correctly. If not, go back into the console and continue. Type sqv 125498. You'll see a list of variables for the performance quest. If one of the variables is 1, set it to 0 using, for example, set "125498".DrifterPerforming to 0. Exit the console and wait to see things have returned to normal. Wait for one of the performances to start and see if it starts correctly. Using the console disables achievements for the rest of that play session, so if things appear to be fixed, save a new game, exit the game completely, then restart and reload the save so you'll continue to get achievements. • PCPC If the player kills the Lonesome Drifter or Bruce Isaac while he is singing, the song will continue to be played to the end after the performer's death.
