The Five Stars were a five-man doo wop group active during the late 1950s.

Career

The Five Stars formed in Indianapolis, Indiana in the late 1950s.[1] The original members were lead Ron Russell, John Bruhn (who played most of the intersuments in the band),[2] Bill Campbell, Larry Hoffman, and Bruce Miller (who was later replaced by Boyd "Popcorn" Johnson).[1] They had few hit songs, and "Atom Bomb Baby" was a notable exception.
