They can be purchased at The Tops casino to be used for playing in this casino's games only. The games using these chips are slots, blackjack and roulette.
Locations
The chips can be exchanged for bottle caps, Legion currency and NCR dollars at the bank inside The Tops casino by initiating dialogue with the cashier. The chips cannot be found, bought or otherwise earned elsewhere in the game. The Tops casino is also the only place to exchange The Tops casino chips for currency.

- 1 bottle cap = 1 chip
- $5 NCR dollars = 2 chips
- $20 NCR dollars = 8 chips
- $100 NCR dollars = 40 chips
