The thrust control modules are a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics

They can be bought from Old Lady Gibson for 500 caps, 250 caps with a barter or Speech check. If you have the Lady Killer perk, you are able to obtain them for free.

You can also obtain them by killing, or pickpocketing Old Lady Gibson, taking her key and using it on the metal box.

If you have a lockpick skill of 50 or higher, you can pick the lock on the metal box with the thrust controls inside it.

Notes

Icon cut content.pngThe following is based on Fallout New Vegas cut content and has not been confirmed by canon sources.
  • There are two versions of the modules located in the game files, the second cut version has a weight of 1 and a value of 100. Both versions remain as marked as quest items.

  • The thrust control modules have the same in-game model as scrap metal.

Bugs

  • After completing the quest and obtaining the modules without getting them from Old Lady Gibson's metal box, you can obtain them again from the box and get another module, but since since it is marked as a quest item, you will not be able to remove it from your inventory.
