Re:Forum

Hi Yessie. Reading back at that, I'm quite surprised I must say. Although I'm slightly different when on the fora and when not, it seemed a little too much. But yes, I was in a very bad mood yesterday (a combination of real-life matters) and so when I got home and saw that some of my discontentment was released there. I apologise. Hopefully as Ci said people will look at the points I presented instead. Obviously it's nothing personal, just a bad day I was having. See you around. --Skire (talk) 13:15, June 28, 2012 (UTC)

Poll idea

Hello Yes-Man, I have voted on your 9th poll, excellent job so far, you have influenced my edit style on L.A. Noire Poll. The radio poll is very nice, maybe you can ask further: Who is your favorite disc jockey (i.e. Three dog, Mr. New Vegas...etc) I am not sure this idea is 100% new, there are so many polls on this wiki.Sector 36 04:00, June 30, 2012 (UTC)

Wiki links

I was at the Elder Scrolls wiki (don't ask why I am there) and I saw the link to here. The notable part is that it says "Nukapedia Wiki Vote on weekly Fallout poll". Guess you are a better poll writer than me and the fact Chad is making the Hole fights. Just to let you know. Energy X 15:44, June 30, 2012 (UTC)

You think so? Aww... it means a lot. It kinnda makes me feel the senior poll writer (who is in retirement, ignoring the age). And it would be better to call me Energy, just to say to you. Energy X 11:06, July 1, 2012 (UTC)

Saw your note on the poll. Sure, I know I sometimes forget some poll options, but if you remember some, discuss it with the person who gave you the idea. Lot of people complain about that vodka wasn't put, so you could have talked to Great Mara about it, but it is now over since changing the poll would erase the votes. Energy X 12:44, July 1, 2012 (UTC)

Poll ideas

I am just throwing out some ideas on the polls, but its only optional. I'm saying like "Who did you side with in the Pitt? (Wernher or Ashur)" or "What was your favourite FNV add-on location? (Sierra Madre, Zion Canyon, Big Empty, or the Divide). All of this is simply up to you since your the poll maker. Btw, keep up the good work with the polls, they're awesome! :) User talk:The Nuclear KingThe Nuclear KingUser talk:The Nuclear King

Yes, they include Sunny Smiles, Cheyenne, Chad, Easy Pete, Ringo, Joe Cobb, Doc Mitchell and Trudy. Any other questions? 188.129.117.9 13:07, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

Another MJ567 Poll Suggestion

Hi Yes-Man, I got another poll suggestion for ya. We all know that the Fallout universe diverged from our own some time ago...but when? I'd actually written five or six paragraphs while creating this talk page note which would've bored you to death with divergence theories, but I've decided to put those in another post. (See here: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:MJ567/Divergence--when_did_it_happen%3F)

Anyway, I think the question for next Saturday should be 'When do you think divergence occured?'. The options could be presented with a reason for why it happened at this date:

  • 1945 (end of World War II, divergence occured afterwards)
  • 1948 (crashing of the B-29 Superfortress)
  • 1949 (founding of the People's Republic of China, divergence occured afterwards)
  • 1958 (National Aeronautics and Space Act never signed)
  • 1961 (Carl Bell becomes first man in space)
  • It never did--the Fallout universe has always been the Fallout universe

Thanks for reading Yes-Man. It's not really a 'mainstream' poll, if ya know what I mean, but we're both Aussies, so I'm sure you'll make this your next poll! ;) MJ567 01:11, July 8, 2012 (UTC)

Deleting comments

Will do (in Sulik's words). Actually, he posted another insultive comment, so a ban was given. Though I have to say some (or rather) most people I give warnings ignore them... Energy X 08:33, July 11, 2012 (UTC)

It is all done, the last thing I left was "agreed, fallout 3 was horrible" as I don't see point of deleting it. Oh, and congrats for a (nearly) 4000th edit! Energy X 08:47, July 11, 2012 (UTC)

Rob, the chat hasn't been alive much. I think with you back it would be a lot better. Please stop with this man, nukapedia will never be the same without you here. Mostly because you are one of the oldest users here since the split. The Enclave shall prevail! 06:43, July 15, 2012 (UTC)

Poll Idea

I think a poll for if the Courier had died by benny who would win would be quite popular, would Benny's plan work, would House find another way or would the NCR or Legion finally have full control of the Mojave wasteland? --Capt.Lee (talk) 09:42, July 16, 2012 (UTC)

Saturday Poll Idea

Had an idea for polls, don't know if it's already been done before, Which Fallout Character would you most like to put a bullet in? Oliver Swanick, one of the cannibals from Andale, Mayor Macready (brat needs to be taught some damn manners), Sticky, the poetry guy at Red Rock Canyon, etc. Don't remember any character that got on my nerves in Fallout 1 and 2 and I never played the spin-offs:/

Polls

As you may have seen, the 15th of September draws nearer every... second. Although it is a bit early to ask, but I'll ask nontheless... would you like to make a special addition of the Saturday poll? I could also work on it. Energy X 09:48, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

Well, as stated above, 15th September. Energy X 12:07, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

Hm, I guess one of them is to ask "Which is your personal background music from Fallout and Fallout 2?" You can see them here. For other ideas, I might think of some. Do you have any suggestions? Energy X 17:35, July 21, 2012 (UTC)

Hm, I should mention that the Vault Archives have music from both Fallout 1 and 2 (some background music has been added in Fallout 2, like Vault City theme). Well, I'll get some new ideas... eventually. Energy X 08:04, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

RE:NUN

Yeah, I don't think I really need to be a part of it anymore. I really like this wiki, but nowadays I'm really busy and stuff, mainly due to school, so I can't be as nearly as active as I used to be. Also I have a few family and school problems going on that really interfere with my activity in the community. I hope you understand. --Cheese Lord (talk) 04:02, July 24, 2012 (UTC)

Always a pleasure

I like the poll already. I'm the kind of person that likes to think about the "what-if"s and "how-would-I"s. Anywho, I'll try and submit another list next week, if wanted. I've always got new and fresh ideas. If no-one submits any good ideas, send a message. I'm would be honored to provide them for you. I'm surprised you didn't want to include the speculation, but I understand just as well. The wiki needs things like The Weekly Poll and so forth to entertain and intrigue(I think that's the correct use of intrigue...) it's users and keep attention on the Wiki.

Sincerely as always,

Fallout: Apprentice (formerly Junk Idol)

Yo Yessie. The starters flag has now dropped on Fallout: The Apprentice. You can find the first challenge and the full rules User:Agent_c/sandboxJunkIdol; Due date for challenge is currently 2nd of Aug, but let us know if you have any issues with that and we can probably extend it. Agent c (talk) 23:02, July 25, 2012 (UTC)

We'll call the official deadline midday wiki time (GMT) but its very flexible. Agent c (talk) 11:20, July 26, 2012 (UTC)
Linked pages honestly hadn't occured to me. Having just one shouldn't be a problem this time; However it looks like you've had a good grasp on what the challenge is... Posting to my TP is probably best for now, and once all are in I'll create a blog entry for the "Vote" blog. Agent c (talk) 12:50, July 26, 2012 (UTC)

Could I trouble you to add the following to the top of each of your pages? Just to make sure noone is fooled into thinking its real.
{{directionbox
|text =This page is a part of the [[User:Agent_c/FalloutApprenticeRedirectPage|Fallout: The Apprentice contest]]. It should not be confused with in game content.

Agent c (talk) (At some point in history).

Just to let you know there's an indefinite extension going on. Two contestants haven't posted, one I'm in contact with (Miss Nic) and have agreed an indefinite extension, the other (Crimson Frankie) I've not heard from at all. If I don't hear from Frankie by the time Miss Nic is ready we'll proceed at that point but cut one round, and give more time on the challenges. In the meantime please feel free to make any changes you desire to your entry. Agent c (talk) 10:28, August 2, 2012 (UTC)
Vault 75 said he was interested but then I never heard from him again. If there is someone out there who wants to play and can have something fairly pronto I'm happy for you to recruit a sub for Vickers, and if you can find a second in case Frankie goes the same way (I can always add an extra round or double elimination if needs must) that would be awesome. Agent c (talk) 10:54, August 2, 2012 (UTC)
thinking about it I can shuffle things around to give people another week. The only limitation is there was a challenge that I was hoping would be both Finale and Anniversary themed, no reason the Anniversary challenge can't go as planned and a new Finale written. I'll probably post a preview show explaining the game into the Blogs/News tonight and hopefully we'll have some success finding another. Agent c (talk) 11:58, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

Last time I spoke to Neko he thought he might be too busy for it, but can't hurt to ask I spose. Agent c (talk) 12:40, August 2, 2012 (UTC)p

Denis517 has joined the game, taking us back to 6, and at the moment he has up to a week, but we'll "go" whenever he and Nic are ready - unless we somehow get a 7th again or something. I'll still do a preview blog tonight announcing the game and first challenge to the world and I'll give the 2nd challenge to contestants when we have all players in. Feel free to tweak your entry until informed of close. In the event you're going to be away from the wiki or something in the coming weeks, let me know and I can give a head start in some cases. Agent c (talk) 16:08, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

Hey Yessie, just to let you know I'm officially setting the finishing line for Challenge 1 in 23 hours, 17 minutes time. Out of the 9 expected entries, I have 8, and either the 9th makes it, or doesn't. You can keep editing right up until that point if you desire, but after that it's up to the judges. Agent c (talk) 00:44, August 9, 2012 (UTC)

Just wating for the other judges for Round 1... You can see the updated schedule, and the next challenge here I'll be keeping this page as the official contestant page, so if you have any questions, post em here as a title and I'll answer it. Agent c (talk) 23:04, August 10, 2012 (UTC)

One more suggestion

Alright, you said I could.

Idea: In Fallout: New Vegas, what kind of alcohol would your character most prefer to drink?

A. Vodka

B. Whiskey

C. Beer

D. Wine

E. Absinthe

F. Moonshine(wait, is moonshine even in Fallout: New Vegas?)

G. None, he/she doesn't drink alcohol.

H. Any alcohol he/she can find(all of the above).

Backup Idea(in the case you would not prefer to mention or are not permitted to mention alcoholic beverages, or simply that the idea has already been presented):

Of all these melee and unarmed weapons(considering the variants thereof also), which would you most prefer to use?

A. Super Sledge(Bring down the Banhammer!)

B. Power Fist(Falcon Punch!)

C. Ballistic Fist(Makes stuff go BOOM!)

D. Shishkebab(With a sword of fire...)

E. Katana/Wasikashi(Slice slice slice[body parts fall to the ground].)

F. Bare fists(Chuck Norris style.)

Sincerely as always,

Nuke-This-Cola (talk) 16:58, July 26, 2012 (UTC)

P.S. I do not think that is the correct spelling of wazikazi(or however you spell it). Please correct. Also, I mentioned the sword because it was in Fallout 2.

Always a pleasure, part two

Excellent, I must be good at this. But, of course, this poll is a commmunity effort, so don't let me get in the way. One opinion is not as good as thirty. I am not a glory hog. I would recommend keeping one of my ideas for the next poll so another person can have their say. But, it is your poll. Do with it what you please.

Sincerely as always,

Nuke-This-Cola (talk) 06:25, July 28, 2012 (UTC)

Hey Yessie, I've been voting on your polls for about 3-4 weeks now, and I would like to know where to put my suggestions at.......? if this is the place, one suggestion(if it's new) is who is your favorite companion of the fallout series, and as for which ones I'd let you choose which companions, another suggestion is, which vault is your favorite vault(once again if it's new)? and also you can choose which vaults to choose from, that's it! I love the polls by the way! (Wildwes7g7 (talk) 18:57, July 29, 2012 (UTC))

MJ567's Fourth and Fifth Poll Ideas

Hi Yessie, that was an awesome poll you did last Saturday (one of your best). I'd like to see this question asked next: what country would we (the West) most likely have a nuclear war with?

  • Russia
  • China
  • North Korea
  • India
  • Pakistan
  • Other

A potential problem with this poll is that some voters may not live in the West, as in the Americas, Europe and the Australasian region. However, its pretty obvious that an overwhelming majority of Internet users are Western.

I also thought of another one while typing this message: what contemporary communist regime do you despise the most?

  • China
  • Cuba
  • North Korea
  • Laos
  • Vietnam

I am extremely anti-communist, and I expect that most people aren't too fond of the broken ideals of communism either, but this could potentially alienate any pro-communists (if they even exist).

I dunno why I pointed out the flaws in my ideas, but the reaction from the voters to either of these would be very interesting indeed, in both the polls and in the comments. Anyhow, thanks for reading Yessie! :D

Dances With Smurfs

The plan is to officially join up anywhere between 2-4 weeks. Have a few family affairs to take care of first, and then I'll be heading out. You'll be seeing quite a bit of me until I leave though. I plan on editing here quite a bit to help make up for leaving this place for 6 years - give or take. Dragon Leon Skål! 06:02, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

Supreme Overlord, eh? I'll be looking forward to seeing if this actually happens or not. ;) I think I'll still be sticking around once I'm out of the Navy. I've been making a lot of big plans for the Moose when I get out, and I'm hoping it can grow to be something huge. Not sure if I'll still be interested in actually editing though. Guess we'll see. Dragon Leon Skål! 06:15, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

New idea

I'm still thinking about the Staurday SPECIAL idea (15th September), but I have a suggestion of your regular polls.

How about the poll with question "Which antagonistic plan is the most vile?"

  • A) Master's plan to turn humans into mutants
  • B) Enclave's idea of killing mutants through FEV
  • C) The Calculator and its robots rule the Midwest (not sure this is the true purpouse)
  • D) John Henry Eden's plan to "infect" the river with FEV
  • E) NCR/Caesar's Legion/House's idea to rule the New Vegas

Needs a bit re-writing, but what would you think of this?

Energy X 09:25, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

I see. All right, we'll see what will happen on 20th September then (I experienced so many things strange outcomes might happen). Energy X 11:54, August 3, 2012 (UTC)

The current colour scheme was actually made per request by User:Doc Incognito and implemented by myself after selecting that one out of 4 that he made, as well as discussing it with another admin there. Anon 89

Well, this time around, it wasn't me who banned that Anon. I wouldn't really call him cruel though. Just pathetic. If you look through his ban and edit history, you'll see just how much time he's thrown away just to insult editors on multiple wikis. He was even banned for a month, and came back after it was over just to start up his attitude again. To me, that screams of a sad excuse for a human who has nothing better to do with his life. Locking the page would prevent chat mods, patrollers etc. from editing the page. The better solution would to be to use JS to hide the edit button to normal users. It does have the down side that they can still edit the page, but it does make it a lot harder for them to do so, unless they have good Wikia knowledge. I had yet another poll idea. We all know the wasteland is a harsh place, and in an ideal society if it were real we would all love to be human, but we all know that it isnt always going to happen. If the Fallout universe were real, what would you rather be a Super Mutant or a Ghoul maybe throw in Centaur as they have human in them.

Poll Idea- Music

Here's my suggestion for a poll: "What's your favourite radio station in terms of music?" I'm not sure if this has been done before but the idea is to find out which radio station is best if you ignore the hosts and focus only on the music. It might be a bit tricky as some of the stations in NV do use similar songs but I think they do have enough unique songs to choose. Hobnob165 (talk) 13:00, August 19, 2012 (UTC)

I reverted that ban because when I issued it, I was in the process of deleting more than 25 blogposts of the level of

why the fuck do you fuck faces play such a shit as game? play some cod mw3 you stupid cunts. you big ass dumb fucks play something gay as that? you stupid retarded faggots. next time play some relistac next time. i wasted my good money on fucking new vegas and fallout 3. those games suck cock. next time grow a gravy sack and fuck off. cod is the best game ever. douchebaggs

Upon seeing the "gun that shoots soup" comment I assumed it was a proxy-puppet of the anon who posted said spam deluge and banned that anon as well. When Denis admitted he was the one behind the soup spam, I decided to go back on the decision for two reasons: first, a 2-weeks ban for a silly spam is too heavy-handed as the comment itself, while spammy, wasn't rude, offensive, nor flamebating; second, by admitting he was behind the spammy soup Denis proved he wasn't using a proxy (and probably didn't even know how to set up one), therefore he couldn't have been the one responsible for the other flood. Ultimately, the ban was a harsh decision brought about by my exasperation whilst dealing with a particularly virulent flood and the fear of a multiple proxy-backed attack. After reviewing the ban once the flood was dealt with and things were back to normalcy, I reverted the ban and dealt with the situation the way the infraction warranted: with a warning.

I'd expect that to be humble enough to able to admit one's mistakes and correct them for the sake of justice and fairness would be considered a virtue to be found in somebody in a position of power. Except for a causeless rebel who wants to find corruption and oppression where there is none, I suppose.

Next time you have something against my actions, I suggest you take it up me directly. My door is always open for mature and objective criticism -- it's spineless indirect gossip that I have a problem with. Toodles~ Limmiegirl Lildeneb Talk! ♪ 21:41, August 27, 2012 (UTC)

A: Deathclaw (Perhaps the most obvious choice.)

B: Fire Gecko (Perfect for outdoor barbeques!)

C: Centaur (It's a mutant!)

D: Giant Cockroach(YAY! It's Fluffy!)

E: Bighorner (I can only wonder why.)

F: Brahmin (Dude, what's up with that cow?)

G: Radscorpion (RADSCORPION SMASH, YEAH!)

H: Mirelurk (Maybe we can ride them...)

I: Giant Mole Rat (Mole rats rule!)

Idea numero dos: It's time for a Weapon of Not so Massive Destruction! Which weapon do you think is the most useless?

A: Boxing Tape

B: Pulse Grenade

C: Lead Pipe

D: Fire Bomb

E: Industrial fist

F: MIRV (what am I going to use this for? Seriously?)

G: Dog Tag Fist

Hi Yessie,

Other than OWR who requested (and was given) an extension, 2 players have broken deadline this week.

Presuming their entry and a reason for delay and non contact isn't recieved in the next 24 hours, then this round will take a slightly different form.

  • There will not be a further elimination (beyond those who forfeited)
  • Judges will not be ranking entries, but will be offering critiques.
  • There will still be a vote, but the vote will instead be for the winner of the round, and the limited immunity.

This also means a round will be dropped, as its 2 players who have missed deadline.

I'm not sure what will happen about the limited immunity you won for this week. Given that only 4 will be progressing I dont think we can have 2 immunities in the next round, but I am keep to see some recognition for your win. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas on this. Agent c (talk) 00:19, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

Hey Yessie, the Good news is, Dead Gunner is back. The sad news is Ever Ruler wont be continuing as he's had to pull out, so there wont be a vote to eliminate, but a vote to pass on Immunity. I've posted the next challenge to the Junk Idol page - if you can post the challenge there when you're done that will be awesome, you'll also find a Wiki time clock there too. There is an extra day added in this time however reading the spec right is essential otherwise you'll find yourself doing a lot of unnecessary work. This is why you never need to ask or demand respect. You earn it.

I saw how you tried to make the point that the way some things are phrased my come off as demeaning and condescending to members.

You posted :Quote:

Perhaps..Quote : Perhaps being a dick can be rephrased. I know that it's a legitimate term, but when you warn a user to not be a dick, they often become even more agitated. Even worse when you ban a user and tell them it was because they were a dick. I think people will be less volatile should we call it something like "Don't be offensive" or "Be respectful". Otherwise the rule itself is fine, if not open to interpretation. 04:15, August 29, 2012 (UTC)

I agree. It is not the nature of the rule but how it is presented.

  • Making a rule named Don't be a Dick is poking the bear. Members just want respect like anyone else. It is the tone that offends.

The message for real

Some few think I am working to chance my fortune to get back on chat. I just want to fix the rules.

Here is the point I am try'n to share. rule #7 *Don't be intentionally antagonistic

The wording is clean & clear. Moderators don't sound like a Dick by using it & it causes less offence so folks might give pause and think before digging their hole deeper.

Again, what follows below is just for you M8.

Sadly some folks think I am making some plea to change the rules & revers my chat ban.

  • I could care less. I could care more but I try not to think about it.

The important thing is that the rules feel fair & consistent for the future of others who just want to have fun.

Before we had a chat function I was here & I am still here. I am a member, I make honest edits and that is enough.

Yet for the sake of others because I know you care to. Please consider adding your voice to editing some of the chat rules that feel unbalanced "Even if only in general"

That Don't be a Dick rule is just an insult to everyone. If it could be reworded it might avoid conflict with others in the future.

I suggest *Don't be intentionally antagonistic

My response:

Sigma's up next:

Why would you write such a knowingly controversial blog post without doing the slightest bit of research? Is there anything that actually holds water you can use to back up your blind support of a genocidal pseudo-governmental organisation?— Sigma (and here I though censorship was ban-worthy)
I'm not sure how censorship is related to this. I was asking whether he had proper arguments to back up his thesis, especially considering its controversial nature. I'm saying, if you're going to write something you might as well do it well. But now that you did write it, it is what it is.
Please tell me where the fuck it says China launched first, OK? Clearly you are not familiar with any real Fallout history at all.— Sigma, after being asked if he played Fallout 2
I am aware of Eden considering Dick Richardson's words in this case, and I find it ludicrous that anyone could think Richardson has any credibility on the topic. It is an element of Fallout history that who launched the first nuke is unknown, and either way it wouldn't have been without provocation. And are you trying to demonstrate my usage of the expletive? We both know using profanity is perfectly allowed here, and obviously it was not directed at him personally.
... Actively supporting the use of genocide to get one's way.— Sigma
Actually, Leon said this XD
This might sound harsh, but if you can't handle that, then don't post anything here.— Sigma (again, censorship)
This is quite frankly true. Also, censorship was referring to censoring of the comments ("censoring" isn't even the best term here), not the blog post itself.
If you can't properly back your opinions, they will be shat on.— Sigma
Come on, we both know this is completely true, and is expressed with much candour here. There are many users on the wiki that will completely take an argument apart, and often they won't do it in the nicest way. C'est la vie.
Talk about "talking down" when you can't even refrain from inserting "Lol." in every message or comment you send.— Sigma to Toci, not even regarding the argument at hand
This digression was a misinterpretation on my part, and I have already talked to Toci in the chat about it.
I commented because of the absence of quality and sense-making.— Sigma
What is this trying to show? This was and still is how I feel.
Very rude, unprofessional, and constantly claiming that he shouldn't have made the blog in the first place. Yet censoring people is ban-worthy. Then trying to comply and locking comments resulted in the argument that the community owns his blog and he can't do anything about it.
In conclusion, I think we're misusing the term of "censorship" here. I'm seeing the disabling of the comments amidst a debate that is of interest to people as a disruption, and thus I think disciplinary action may be warranted. Keep in mind this is a debate, and neither side of it was exactly polite. There is no particular reason for me to have to remain "professional" (especially if it means being nice in this context) in a debate that has nothing to do with my administrator position. I have not used any ad-hominems and was merely expressing my opinion, which I can and will continue to do. Finally, he may own his blog but certainly not the comments. They are not his.

I realise you're looking out for everyone, Yessie. You excel at that. But this is something that does not need massive attention from everyone, with person after person stepping in and commenting or throwing in their two-cents. Just earlier today I have talked with Eden in chat and everything's good. --Skire (talk) 03:27, September 9, 2012 (UTC)

I can see myself that I wasn't the friendliest, but it was a heated debate that was of great interest to me (I don't always do this =P) Whether or not his opinion deserved to be "shat on" is up to whether or not they are properly backed; it's a hypothetical. Furthermore, my position as an administrator has no relevance here beyond the idea of "setting an example". There is no such thing as abuse as I am acting as a debater and not an admin (until the whole incident later that I merely backed/supported). See you around, Yessie, and thanks for pointing some things out =) --Skire (talk) 18:43, September 9, 2012 (UTC)

How about a personal story about pepper grinders, and the people that use them?

(If you use pepper grinders, I mean no offense!) I was watching a few cooking shows on TV (there was nothing else to watch), and what bothers me about "professional" chefs is that they are always grinding away wih those pepper grinders, even salt grinders! After a while i had to quit watching them (I couldn't take it anymore), and went up to write an email to my aunt. It was supposed to be a thank you for the card she sent me, but it ended up being a letter about mindless use of pepper grinders. After I had sent it, a short time later she sent a short letter about how she used a pepper grinder. How embarrassing!

I tried to condense it down as much as possible, Man. I hope you like it. Leea (talk) 18:51, September 11, 2012 (UTC)

GarouxBloodline - Some Assembly Required!ForGaroux
TALK - 19:37, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
Sorry it's taken me this long to reply. I've been in a really bad mood these past days, and I didn't want to make such a reply while I was in such a state. Anyways! I'll address everything you said point by point:
  • Tagaziel - You're right. Tag can be very blunt and rude sometimes. You have to admit though, he's almost always entirely right. The Nazi comments were uncalled for, I'll admit. However, his comparisons aren't completely faulty, as he was making a direct observation to what Eden said multiple times throughout his own blog. That, and Tag being Polish gives him an understandable dose of intolerance for those sorts of views. If you think he's getting too harsh, just send him a message. He knows when to stop.
  • Sigma - To be honest, I haven't seen anything wrong with what Sigma has said so far. Really, the only thing I'm seeing is you having a problem with him using expletives. And that's not really a problem, seeing as in how expletives are only 'flavour material'. Expletives are not insults, and the community here revolves around a mature theme, anyways. Everything else he said were observations, not insults.
  • Nitty - Nitty had valid points. But he certainly went too far voicing them, and he did indeed use ad hominem. I'll completely agree with you that what Nitty said was unacceptable. I even talked to Eden in chat about me having a talk with Nitty if he said anything further.
  • Me - I admit to being overly blunt. And I also admit to taking my frustrations out on him when I knew he was purposefully antagonizing me with his comments. I'll try and not to do that any more.
    • Anyways, here's how I see it, and I hope you can understand:
  • We all were providing counter-arguments to his points.
  • Eden tried to de-rail the conversation by saying that were insulting him and calling him a Nazi. This was not true.
  • When we proved to him that his accusations were not true, he attempted to lock the blog down in spite. When a blog has gotten as big as that one, (Over 100 comments.) it belongs to the community. For him to shut it down would be selfishly depriving the community of a stimulating blog.
  • He then went out of his way to antagonize me, and to show disrespect by saying he didn't have to listen to anyone, and that he could do whatever he wanted.
    • So while my ban might have been questionable, there is no doubt that Eden was the one instigating the whole matter, and J almost entirely agrees with me. So he could go to Clyde, but I'd still have a bureaucrat backing up my reasoning. In any case, the whole thing wasn't worth continuing, so I just dropped the matter. He's not banned, and the blog is still active. Happy ending for everyone, I suppose. Anyways, thanks for keeping an eye out. I still don't approve with everyone jumping in, as that's what causes drama, but it's still nice to know that you care enough to give me your honest opinion. See you around, Yessie.

Either one or both of us is misreading each other because everything you just quoted below makes no sense. I'm in chat. Let's discuss this.--Kingclyde (talk) 08:44, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

Ok then

Well, this is how this is going to be resolved. First off, you yet again failed to read what I wrote without reading what you wanted to get out of it. I did a point by point break down of this. I will now do this again this time with the several highly insulting and very presumptuous thoughts of yours.

  • "Either we're both misunderstanding one another, or you're just in a bad mood. I wasn't trying to attack you"

I'm not in a "bad mood" and yes you are attacking my character.

  • "I'm not claiming to be the community, nor am I saying that I'm more connected to the community than you. I'm fully aware that I'm rarely here anymore. I know you're in a different time zone, and I could see you in chat. Not sure what you're trying to prove there."

I was countering how you said "What I wanted, and what Gunny and Two-Bears wants, is someone who is actively involved in the community" and I said just because for instance I am not in chat at the same time as you are it does not mean I am never on and not part of the community.

  • "The community extends far beyond chat,"

Really, thanks for pointing that out Captain Obvious.

  • "the only time I see you step in on forums or mediate arguments is when they either involve you, or when you need to close the deadline on something"

That is a blatant falsehood. You need to start getting your facts straight.

  • "Nor do I see you in blog posts, making news, or actually bringing issues to light. "

I have no reason to make a blog post. If one comes up I will, looks like on is in the making. As for news long ago Chad was chosen for that role. And what issues? Breaking news! No new Fallout game!

  • "And more often than not its Leon or Limmie who are spearheading new policies."

That has always been the case since day one of this wiki. Most often non admins see an issue and bring to an admins attention and they do what has been happening. Again, get your facts straight.

  • "Furthermore, there are things that shouldn't need a vote, yet they do anyway (like the notable loot policy, which you could easily have made judgement on yourself)."

You have said yourself in the past that the community should have a say in policy making. You even wanted new users to vote on admin/mod requests. In that policy I felt it should have been left to the community. In the end all of the result are left to the bc's desecration at the end whether or not to implement. Remember I'm not the only bc here.

  • " And I'm not even sure if you've looked at this(link to banner and background forum). Knowing people in the community isn't akin to being engaged with the community."

I never said knowing people was akin to being engaged with the community, Again you assume the same old garbage. Only seeing what you want. And for your information, I have reviewed it and it is still rattling around in my head.

  • "Asking people to stop or take it elsewhere was what you were suggesting. I'll quote you: 'If you see a heated discussion in chat causing drama, tell those involved to drop it or be kicked, that simple.'"

Wow, please tell me where you got that quote. I can't find that anywhere. Don't put words into peoples mouth.

  • "Why not just solve the issue instead of turning our backs and hoping it all ends out well? If you're active in the community, should you not see these issues before they become "Drama" and nip them in the bud, so to speak?"

Because this a damn WIKI it is not a therapy room. It is not marriage consoling. You are not responsible for two people arguing other than making sure it doesn't harm the wiki. From what I can tell, you are the person who wants to mediate everyone issues to get gossip. I hate people like that as does most people. And it is proven the when an outside party become involved more times than not the situation deteriorates.

  • "I'm sure you're unaware that a user named Eden2012 was harassed by a group of administrators who repeatedly called him a genocidal Nazi supporter, told him he was sick, twisted and disgusting, and when he tried to stop the situation from escalating he was threatened with a ban and then told his opinions had the right to be shat on. You know what his crime was? He wrote a blog about why he would side with the Enclave. "

There you go assuming yet again. This is a very awesome character flaw of yours that I find highly annoying. At this point you really are beginning to irritate me. Which now I believe you are doing on purpose. I talked to eden and locked his blog, talked to talk but regardless like most of the drama guess what? It blows over. You didn't have to stick you head into it and mediate. It worked out fine without you sticking your nose into it.

  • "This all happened a few days ago, and I was this close to coming to tell you about it because there was a major issue being overlooked, until the admins involved made amends with the user."

That's a fail on your part. Here you are knocking me for not being around for a big fight yet you were and all I have asked for in the past is for people to alert me if something is going down. YOU FAILED! So don't come here telling me how bad I am and how "you were this close to telling me" because you didn't tell me. Sorry.

  • "Sure, it all turned out alright in the end. But the point was, where were you when this was happening?"

Hmm, let's see being that I am an adult I was probably at work or at home with my family. Also coupled with the fact that this was purely on a blog I would not have noticed it from the chat room. While at work I have the chat room open unless my super is there. There is something you have to realize. Not everyone can spend all of their free time on the computer. When I do I do this and my other wikis which are not this big at all so there is not much to do.

  • "Where was Ghost (whom hasn't been around for the past week and a half),"

Why are you asking me?

  • "where was Jspoelstra (who is probably the most engaged amongst the three of you)?"

Again why are you asking me and there you go with assumptions again. I don't really know what is wrong with you but you really need to stop making assumptions about people.

  • "I don't think you're doing a bad job, but if you were doing a good job then surely we wouldn't have four bureaucrat requests in the past year pledging to whip things into shape on account of the current staff members not seeming to care enough to involve themselves."

I really wish you could count. And don't insult me. How can you say I don't think you are doing a bad job but if you were doing a good job... Really?

  • "You say dispute mediation makes matters worse, despite it being called mediation, yet the only other option is to have disconnected staff who essentially just exist to sit by and wait until one of the people arguing gets banned"

Honestly your arguments are making it more and more obvious to me that you only read what you wanted to and added your own special twist to what I wrote. You even put words in my mouth. Kinda like FOX news. Again, disconnected staff? Here we go with the same repeatative bullshit from before.

  • "On to the "Denying them the chance" part, I was regarding your dismissiveness to the situation. You said it yourself:'If you haven't tried to put a stop to the drama as admin, what makes you think you can as a bc?'"

Wow, no misquote. Congrats! But, again you saw only what you wanted to see. If you read above I told them that they could stop the drama as admins but from what I've seen and heard no one has tried. They have the tools to do it as admins. And to be quite honest with you, drama will always be here as this wiki has NO NEW GAMES and thus idles editors. When you have idle editors the can create problems.

  • "I'm not sure what you mean by claiming I'm paranoid."

I never did but you called me that. "Claiming political ploys or implying people who want a promotion are ego-stroking megalomaniacs is somewhat paranoid and in the grand scheme of things very silly"

  • "So I assume you know me? So you say that you're not opposed to another bureaucrat, but then you openly argue Gunny and Two-Bear's points. All I was saying is that if you don't like the fact that two users are running for bureaucrat, then try to work on what they (and myself a few months back) are preaching."

Again, you only saw what you wanted to see. I NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT PRESUMING TO KNOW YOU. You act like you know me by assuming everything about me, like you have in the response to. No I am not opposed to another bc, that's what I wrote do I need to write it in stone? But now you chastise me for leaving my opinion (something you have said everyone is entitled to several times) on their pages? I call bollocks. I personally think Gunny would make a great bc. I even said so. Two-Bears is not ready for it. At all. What I disagree with is what platform they are running on. Vote for me because I'll fix drama. Really? You can't fix drama. Give me a break. Gunny's reasoning is better while two-bears only wants the title to mediate drama. Really?

I'm going to close with this. I wasn't in a bad mood tonight. But I am now. I felt I should be able to leave my personal opinion on the comments section without someone like you taking the opportunity to attack me. You say that's not what you did and you can believe what you want but you did. I laid out all of what you said both on his request and on my talk page and countered them. If you are going to talk about people you need to stop making assumptions. You made a hell of a lot of assumptions today and that really pisses me off. Just stop it. I liked you and I thought you changed with the emotional stuff but I was wrong. This ends here. If I get a blown out response on my page or a forum concerning this it will be considered a continuation of drama and you will face a 3 day block. Good night.--Kingclyde (talk) 10:05, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

I don't mean to come off as mean or angry I just get frustrated when people take what I write out of context that's all.--Kingclyde (talk) 10:15, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

Polls

So, what are your ideas for the special Saturday (15th September)? Energy X 21:21, September 13, 2012 (UTC)

My big mistake

Sorry, Chad told me in chat it is 30th September, not 15th September that the anneversry is. Still, made a poll - User blog:Energy X/Saturday Poll - 20. Nevertheless, I kept the idea in the sandbox and, well, I'd only have o copy them on user blog. Energy X 12:12, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

Brother I don't know how else to reach you

I have an honest respect for how your represent your self here. I consider you a friend not just to me but to this wiki as a whole. You appear to care more about the environment you are in than even your own self preservation.

  • I'm sure all the world can read this but if we spoke on E mail then off site is off site.

My Mail is WarPig@usa.com

It would be my honor to be your friend even as the world falls apart.

Please mail e mail if you ever care to talk.

Apprentice

Darn. I was hoping there was going to be enough so I could still count you in and use the immunity as long as you didn't come last... But I don't think there's quite enough there for that. Its a real shame as you were on track to possibly win this whole thing.

It's been great having you in the game, thanks for your support getting this off the ground, wouldn't have happened without you. Agent c (talk) 10:23, September 19, 2012 (UTC)

Dude..

Your last message has such undertones of gloom and doom.

This place would be far less valued without fun folks like you.

Where ever you are going I hope you have a great time but speaking as just one of the fans of your contributions to this site, I hope you find your way back here and sooner than later.

Best of luck Brother.

Moose Time

Hey Yessie! Just letting you know that the Patron's Lounge has moved into the fora space. The Moose will no longer be released in editions, and will now rely on updates which will brought to the community's attention through the SNM Discussion Board. Which of course means that you can now update your Patron whenever you wish! With this recent renovation, I would like to ask of you to advertise your Patron a bit and maybe even update to help bring community awareness back into the Lounge. Thanks for reading, Yessie. :) ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 23:24, October 3, 2012 (UTC)

Poll

Are you back? Don't see you much. Do I need to update the poll on Saturday or will you? Energy X 11:09, October 5, 2012 (UTC)

You are coming back right? We really miss you around here. Hit me up when you are for the keys to the Nukapedia Twitter account. Agent c (talk) 20:34, October 7, 2012 (UTC)

Apprentice

Hi Yessie. You need to get your backside back on the wiki. I'm looking to do an interview with other Apprentice candidates for the finale vote. I'd really like it if you could join us what would be Saturday late morning to Middayish your time (Midnight GMT Friday into saturday). Consider it a goodbye if you must. Hope you can make it... You just left...

Hey Yes-Man, or Rob, if you don't mind me using your name. I'll get straight to the point. You just left. You handed out a few - and I do mean like two - goodbye or, more like warnings, that you may not return. When I saw these, I felt great sorrow and hoped, that you would not hold true to what you said. But, I can now see that didn't happen. Let me say a few things if I may, I know I, and many many others loved your polls. They had a certain, "Yes-Man" feel to them. Now no insult meant to Energy X, for he makes good polls, yours were just, "different", and that made them great. You always looked out for the little guy, and I know, once being one of those little guys, how much that means. I loved that about you. But now, you just left. And we are left to sit alone as we wade through this site, with no guardian angel for the small, and no amazing polls for the all. But alas, I ramble. Rob I can say with out a doubt, it was an honour having met you here on this site, and if you ever actually do see this, know I and many others, are missing you.
Now, your departure also had another great negative, your withdraw from FOA. Your entries every week, they were astonishing. They were loved by so many, myself included. I honestly think I can say, if you hadn't left when you did, I would not be surprised if you would have taken my spot in the finale against Crimson Frankie. If you do return, speak to Chad about a voice interview myself and Frankie did regarding the contest; you will hear me and Frankie both speak of how sad it was to see you go. Oh, and in the unlikely chance of your return. I made a little something a while ago if you want to add it to your user page.

Rob, alot of us miss you, and those that don't are terrible people. I don't care if they get mad at me for saying that. It's true. Sure you had a few "hiccups" we all do one day. But you always had the wikis best interests in mind, even if it meant doing questionable things and questioning others. That is what made you so valuable. Alas, I think that's all I have to say. Rob, please come back. Alot of us miss you. Ahah, hey, maybe you could be the next Jasper thought? (If you didn't know, he came back, is on always everyday) Anyways, I do wish you the best in what ever you are doing out there Rob/Yes-Man. Just know, there will always be a place for you at Nukapedia if you ever need it. Your Always; -- The Old World Relics (talk) 15:57, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Poll

DG's happy for you to do the poll this week. It will be good to see you back, if only for a short time.

I'm planning on doing a year in review where I was going to include your Reno apprentice half-done entry... I'm happy if you wanted to finish it, or show it as it is. Agent c (talk) 02:41, December 26, 2012 (UTC)

My thoughts

Hey, Yes-Man, I'm not really good at writing these things, so bare with me. As much as users around here come who've done stuff, I'm pretty new. I'm one of the newest users with some kind of rights, and I haven't been active for long. I've looked into what you've done around here, and it's quite inspiring, in my opinion. You always cared about the little guy, you weren't afraid to speak your mind, you always had a nice thing to say, no matter what the situation. You did a great job in Fallout: Apprentice and a great job in the Polls. You came back with a bang, and I'm sad that after doing so, that you are just kinda fading back into the mist. You're a great guy, even though you may not know me well, but I have much respect for you, and I wish you the best. Goodbye, Dead Gunner's SMG JPG1 "Semper Invictus" 07:18, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

srsly non of your business

No she is the one who banned me! It says right when your banned who did it and it said her name! I am not stupid! Furthermore I feel that my ban was unjust! If your chat mods are so merde headed that they ban when that feel the tiniest bit upset by something someone says that was not even directed at them, they should not be modding!
