WYSIWIG...Source Editing? What?[]
There are two editing types here at The Vault: [[1]] and Source editing.
WYSIWIG[]
"WYSIWYG [stands for What You See Is What You Get and] implies a user interface that allows the user to view something very similar to the end result while the document is being created. In general WYSIWYG implies the ability to directly manipulate the layout of a document without having to type or remember names of layout commands. The actual meaning depends on the user's perspective, e.g." - From Wikipedia, the Free Encylopedia [1].
It is most useful to new users that aren't experienced in HTML editing, or Source editing (which we will talk about soon).
Text Appearence[]
The first toolbar (respectively) is called Text Appearence. Listed under this are fourteen options: Section Headings, Bold, Italics, Underline, Strikethrough, Bullets, Numbered Lists, Link/Unlink, Increase/Decrease Indent, Left Justify, Center Justify and Right Justify.
Section headings are one of the most useful things we have. If we never had them, things here would be messy and unorganized. Section heading 2 creates a large heading. See the welcome at the top? Thats an example of SH2. Below, I will show you a correct way of using these:

As shown above, the SH4 and 5 are rarely used. Below I shall also demonstrate examples for the rest of the text appearences:

Next is the:
Inserting[]
The insert section is found to the right of the text appearence section, and includes the add photo, add video, add table, add template and signature buttons. Inserting a photo is very simple: Just select a photo from the Wikia by searching it, or upload your own! Then, select thumbnail if you want it to be small, or full size. Then, click the button with the photo at the right for it to be put at the right, or the left photo for it to be put on the left. The video insertion is easy: Just enter the url of the address of the video. Template's are a tricky thing, its best to ask a brilliant user named Porter21. Signatures can be done using ~~~~ .
Controls[]
Controls aren't as useful. There is a redo/undo button, a widescreen button but more importantly, the source code button! Undoing is easily done by doing control-z for Windows users and command-z for Mac users. Source code editing is more complicated, but press the button to view the editing involved in source mode!
