Twinkies and cats?

Was there any reason besides Twinkiesex getting banned besides his name?

'Cause User:PoopskinTheLiar is a decent contributor, and I'm not about to ban him. I thought that most names were fine as long as they weren't derogatory. Nitty Tok. 13:58, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

...I was thinking more along the lines of these twinkies... Nitty Tok. 17:50, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

You know, the whole time I played Point Lookout I thought it was a golf course. lol --Kingclyde 05:36, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Well for a few weeks I was without the internets but now I'm back. I've also been working on the Wolfenstein wiki trying to clean it up and adding info about RtCW. Fun times. --Kingclyde 05:50, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Whenever I leave an edit and it shows my name it says page does not exist. Mycatisorange 08:33, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Fixed width

The help texts are stored on Wikia Help; to fix the issue properly, it'd need to be fixed there. If I fixed it locally it'd mean we'd lose out on any future updates made to the central help page, so I'd rather not do that. The only other alternative would be to disable the fixed width for the "Help" namespace, but I'm not all that fond of that either. -- Porter21 (talk) 10:28, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Having looked at Help:Tables, I gotta say it's probably the most confusing help page I've ever seen. If I didn't already know how tables work in HTML/wiki syntax, I think I'd be endlessly confused, especially by the "complex example" which is showcasing a lot of stuff with dubious practicality (Why the hell would anyone want to split that table up? You could simply apply "colspan=2" to the cell with the image-filled table and get rid of the second table entirely...). The lack of examples and explanations for everyday, useful stuff (like making tables sortable, merging cells across rows/columns, applying formatting to table cells etc) certainly doesn't help either - grammar issues aside.
The display issues are just the icing on the cake, caused by the overcomplicated syntax. You'd think help pages should have clear syntax so people can learn by looking at the source...
Anyway, just had to rant a bit :) Originally just wanted to recommend you use Help:Tables on Meta if you need to look something up. Much more helpful. -- Porter21 (talk) 19:29, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

I need you to help settle a dispute between myself and Nitty (who else). He of all people added the Ozzy reference because the game guide mentions it a few times. The game guide, not the game. I tried to explain it, I reverted it and he has since reverted it back. I am not going to reduce myself to having a childish editing war so I am leaving this in your hand. Apparently the consensus that was reached concerning this was incorrect in Nitty's eyes even though he was the one who championed against this reference with me. And now the reason why it was readded is because "I didn't say the GAME referred to Ozzy, I said the GAME GUIDE." This page is not about the game guide but the game. Thanks. --Kingclyde 02:05, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Numbers station

What is the deal with the numbers station? Did I hit the nail on the head about trolls? I knew it looked familliar from somewhere, but I don't really know where it came from. Laters, Big McLargeHuge 05:15, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, it'll go away. I mean, you never hear anything about the shadow vault dweller anymore. Big McLargeHuge 20:26, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Allright but with all do respect there was a gang called greasers in the movie that looked exactly allike and I had no idea you had experimantal surgery to have your balls removed and remember i am saying WITH ALL DO RESPECT!

one ?

hay i got one questan, why the hell you do that, we were talking about what we thought of Fo3 it was not a fight

and please dont post stuff like this

Please take the advice offered you.
  • Stop being so defensive when someone corrects you or tries to advise you.
  • Don't continue discussions that have begun to go bad. Just drop it.
You have made improvements, but you still have more improving to do.

on my talk page, with all do respect it makes you sound like you dont know what your talking about. why do you think i get defensive when someone corrects me (hell people do it all the time and i dont even say crap about it) i only get defensive when people are rude, on a side not why can people get away with being rude but YOU blocked me when i said think you im working on my spelling and i dont mean to mess up so much. im proble going to be blocked for this but i dont care i have to say it stop talking to me like you know me, its rather rude. now im hopeing you can be grownup about this and try to talk about stuff, but if you just block me well then i will know. now have a nice day MrDot01 04:39, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

Could you please confirm what the message on my talk-page was referring to? Thanks Pog 11:38, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks. I do confess that if I see a discussion on a talk page I do try and help out, even if the discussions are months old, but I do it not for the people asking, but for the people who come later with a similar problem. Also, were you including my post in the Underworld talk-page? Because I think that deserves to be there. Pog 12:08, July 14, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks again. Next time I see a (recent) discussion I'll make sure to direct them to the forum! Pog 12:47, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Update on Fallout 3 Article

[http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fort_Bannister?cb=6224 http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fort_Bannister?cb=6224

I] was reading up on this, and I didn't notice, but on the place where it says the BoS will make the tents a base and not the fort itself, it only has PS3. I attempted to edit it and put the 360 icon, as it just actually happened to me on my Xbox 360. Would you mind editing it as I simply tried and failed >.< Hah.

No problem

Just trying to help out The Vault. Plus it all looks better when it's lower cased anyways. When I first came into The Vault, I thought I was being annoying, so after my first week I decided to start off on the right foot. Usually, I just edit Fallout 3 or New Vegas pages, but sometimes when I see something from Fallout or Fallout 2, I'll make an edit. TrailerParkApe 19:00, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

They had colored televisions in the 1950s, they just weren't popular because of their expensive price tag. They didn't get popular until the 60s. Thought I'd fill you in on the fun fact. TrailerParkApe 05:30, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, alrighty. Well, I wasn't saying change it back, because I knew you had a reason to get rid of it. TrailerParkApe 05:40, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

Oh alright. Well on that Fallout 3 culture reference page, I didn't see the RL-3 reference. You can put that up there while you're looking for things to take down. TrailerParkApe 05:50, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

Unknown Cause of Glitch/Bug?

[http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Arlington_Library http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Arlington_Library

I] did what it said and took the second floor, but there must be a bug or glitch, because the third BoS was never seen. Me and the other two took out the back area, they stayed and when I went back to the lobby the third guy was sitting at the lobby desk. It was weird I don't know ..

Just wondering, but have you heard of a PC game called Geneforge? It reminds me of F1/2 (I've only watched videos of F1/2), and it's a great game. Nukey (talk) User blog:AreYouGoingToEatThatNuke?|(blog) 17:06, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

Forum Adminship request

Mostly I just wanted to remove the {{section}} tag; I figured I might as well "officially" close the request while I'm at it. You're right in principle though; Ausir said he's going to take care of the current request, which is why I left that one alone. -- Porter21 (talk) 03:10, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

In which/Wherein

"Wherein" looks quite bad as to "in which". I think in which would be a better use of vocab for the Vaults standard. Wherein seems a little too fancy for defining, and a lot of people would try and sort it or think that it would be wrong. Nukey Fallout Sign.jpg Sparky (Radio) 14:58, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

re: Great work

Thanks, it's nice to know that my efforts are noticed and appreciated. Kris (talk) 15:18, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

It's some thing on some PC thing called Steam, where you get games from, and where FNV can be bought from on PC. Tezzla blah blah blah 16:00, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

How is it untrue? I got the bug and so did the guy. Also, how do you know it is untrue? You didn't get the bug, so how do you know? Tezzla blah blah blah 18:07, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

Looks like has wiped out DamianDx4's user page for the second time in 10 days. Kris (talk) 03:43, July 22, 2010 (UTC)

Looks like it might have been DamianDx4 himself, while not logged in; he just made the same edit to the page. Kris (talk) 03:50, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
