Fixed width[]
The help texts are stored on Wikia Help; to fix the issue properly, it'd need to be fixed there. If I fixed it locally it'd mean we'd lose out on any future updates made to the central help page, so I'd rather not do that. The only other alternative would be to disable the fixed width for the "Help" namespace, but I'm not all that fond of that either. -- Porter21 (talk) 10:28, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Having looked at Help:Tables, I gotta say it's probably the most confusing help page I've ever seen. If I didn't already know how tables work in HTML/wiki syntax, I think I'd be endlessly confused, especially by the "complex example" which is showcasing a lot of stuff with dubious practicality (Why the hell would anyone want to split that table up? You could simply apply "colspan=2" to the cell with the image-filled table and get rid of the second table entirely...). The lack of examples and explanations for everyday, useful stuff (like making tables sortable, merging cells across rows/columns, applying formatting to table cells etc) certainly doesn't help either - grammar issues aside.
- The display issues are just the icing on the cake, caused by the overcomplicated syntax. You'd think help pages should have clear syntax so people can learn by looking at the source...
- Anyway, just had to rant a bit :) Originally just wanted to recommend you use Help:Tables on Meta if you need to look something up. Much more helpful. -- Porter21 (talk) 19:29, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

I need you to help settle a dispute between myself and Nitty (who else). He of all people added the Ozzy reference because the game guide mentions it a few times. The game guide, not the game. I tried to explain it, I reverted it and he has since reverted it back. I am not going to reduce myself to having a childish editing war so I am leaving this in your hand. Apparently the consensus that was reached concerning this was incorrect in Nitty's eyes even though he was the one who championed against this reference with me. And now the reason why it was readded is because "I didn't say the GAME referred to Ozzy, I said the GAME GUIDE." This page is not about the game guide but the game. please help freeze[]
System:xbox 360 eliteGamertag:tHR0bZ DUBSTEP im playing fallout 3 and i have 140 hours of gameplay and im stuck on the balacony of tenpenny tower i try to fast travel freezes try to go to my suite freezes first 2 seconds in there try going through tenpennys suite freezes there as well i also have a diffrent charcter and that one is fine i went to tenpenny tower and to my suite and it worked fine i have cleared chache lots of times deleated all dlc downloaded it again installed game to hard drive. took the hard drive out done the other charcter is fine on tenpenny balcony why the other charcter freezes i dont know please help i have had this charcter for so long thank you.

I] was reading up on this, and I didn't notice, but on the place where it says the BoS will make the tents a base and not the fort itself, it only has PS3. I attempted to edit it and put the 360 icon, as it just actually happened to me on my Xbox 360. Would you mind editing it as I simply tried and failed >.< Hah.

When I first came into The Vault, I thought I was being annoying, so after my first week I decided to start off on the right foot. I] did what it said and took the second floor, but there must be a bug or glitch, because the third BoS was never seen. Me and the other two took out the back area, they stayed and when I went back to the lobby the third guy was sitting at the lobby desk. It was weird I don't know ..

In which/Wherein[]
"Wherein" looks quite bad as to "in which". I think in which would be a better use of vocab for the Vaults standard. Wherein seems a little too fancy for defining, and a lot of people would try and sort it or think that it would be wrong.
