Weapon mods abbreviated
As I was going through all the mods today to fill in missing info I noticed some page names for mods are with abbreviations and some are not. Pages like Cby. Rep. Custom Action were with abbreviations since their creation. Thus, in order to unify the the naming conventions I checked all the mods' page names and changed them to their in-game names where neccessary (such as Assault carbine extended mags -> Assault carbine extended magazines).
Hope this helps. --Jonathan Strange 15:18, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, left my vote there.--Jonathan Strange 15:47, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
First thanks for the good luck wishes for adminship request :). Second for a unified policy for bugs i think it's important that the set format include at the very least 3 parts that should be identified when placing a bug on an articles page. First we should have them name what triggers the bug, this way we can identify the problem more easily and it makes it easier to avoid, second we should have them name what the bug does, does it make an item dissapear, does it cause the game to crash etc. Third and finally we should have them put in a solution, if their is one, to the bug and how the player can use said solution to fix this bug. Most bugs can be fixed Through patches(those that are fixed in patches should be eliminated from the game page or we should place them on a seperate page for "Bugs eliminated by patches" for those who have not yet, or cannot download the various patches) or simply modifing somthing in the Geck, but some bugs are solidly placed in the game code so you can't fix them. -bleep196- 15:38, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
congrats on becoming a bureaucrat!
That Tezzla thing
He isn't a user anymore, so does it really matter? Also, didn't most of the admins not like him? --Saphireking65 21:11, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
i know you were asking goth, but thing is this wiki isn't made for things like, omg i hate that guy, or anyone else glad this douche is gone? such behaviors only incite flame wars and there ilk, and as a bureaucrat (grats again, lol) he has to work against such things alot. Toolazytomakeaaccount 21:22, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
- I have to agree that he was very obnoxious. I know we have policies against insulting users, so I will just retain my opinion. Nukey ☢ talk 21:41, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
you removed strategy to cazadors
please don't do that
"Articles are not for strategies, they are for facts on the creature/item"
Where exactly does it say that in the guidelines? what i DO see in the guideline is:
- Do not start edit wars: Be ready to discuss your changes with others. If you disagree with another editor, discuss the issue either on user or article talk pages. Repeatedly reverting each other's changes ("edit warring") is bound to escalate the conflict instead of solving it. If you cannot reach a consensus, ask another user to mediate. In general, if someone reverts an edit you made, you should not re-add it without reaching a consensus on the article's talk page.
Under Content Guidelines
- All content needs to be accurate. The Vault aims to provide reliable information. In particular, adding speculation and own inventions (fan fiction) to articles should be avoided.
The following information: Cazadors do not set off mines, they are fast, doesn't stop moving, and hittings them in the wings disables them are not speculations and are Accurate and Reliable.
I know what you are going to say, that I shouldn't go into your business, don't insult people on their talk pages etc., but the fact is I was just giving him a friendly warning that he misinterpreted as you, and is a pretty stupid thing to do. --Saphireking65 07:32, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Honestly, I thought you would give me another block for that. I will try to use less insults in the future. --Saphireking65 22:52, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
I just repeated what was on Cassidy's page (trying to fill in some "stub" articles on Fallout 2). Read under "Cassidy and his chronic heart disease". If it is false info, then look up who put it on that page.
"The "heart pills" found in the Westin's Ranch in NCR have no effect on Cassidy and are unrelated (though he claims that he 'feels' better immediately after taking one, he still regularly complains of problems). Having the heart pills in Cassidy's inventory will prevent his death from heart attack upon seeing Frank Horrigan in the game's final encounter." --Pongsifu 23:28, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
No problem. I've only been here for about a week and I've already seen quite a bit of page vandalism so I'm sure it can get annoying. --Pongsifu 03:00, November 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I just saw this question a little later in rummaging a bit but why don't you come see me ? I know Fallout past 14 years and since Fallout 1, I know quite well the universe to answer lots of questions so in the future, if there is ever something that bothers you, feel free to ask me. Good evening my friend ! Itachou [~talk~] 00:51, November 10, 2010 (UTC)
I doubt it's connected and what you said is probably correct, but there are many articles on this wiki that include info that isn't directly connected to the quest but rather just relate to cultural references. Although for all we know the song name was in mind when the person named the quest. I don't see why it's such a big deal to you though, but judging from your profile you enjoy writing and editing wiki articles. I'll leave it alone, don't want you to lose sleep over it, buddy.
Who said I don't enjoy writing and editing pages? As you should be able to tell I just created this account and have made 1 page so far and edited a few things, that was something that I viewed as acceptable since so many other pages I've seen also have similar cultural references. You obviously take great pride and spend a large amount of time on this wiki, so do as you see fit. If you feel information like that shouldn't be on these pages, you have a lot of editing to do from what I've seen.
Yeah, came across this guy http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/McCredie, the trivia section says He shares the same last name of Mayor Mcready, should this be changed? --Mycatisorange 05:03, November 9, 2010 (UTC)

LGBT image/userbox deleted?
Any idea why any LGBT flag or userbox I add gets deleted? I can't imagine it's some stance against having LGBT contributors - but I can't find anything in the deletion logs to explain what happened. System glitch of some sort? Figured I'd check before trying again in case there was some reason behind it. Thanks! --Aequalitas 23:46, November 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Wonderful - thank you for fixing it! I figured it was vandalism or something similar. Glad it wasn't some intentional move - that would have bummed me out. :)

New Vegas Bug Page
I just took a look at the New Vegas Bug page and just about had a heartattack, it's already just as bad if not worse than the Fallout 3 Bug Pages. We've got alot of work ahead of us. ---bleep196- 18:12, November 14, 2010 (UTC)

Casinos category page
Apologies about putting text on the category page. I put it there because it seemed a logical place to collect all the generic info about gambling. I'm happy to fix it, but I'm wary of making another blunder. There's a "Gambling" page, but it's about the skill in Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics. Shall I create a "Fallout: New Vegas gambling" non-category page? Dmunsil 01:37, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Also, there are a fair number of examples of categories within other categories on the wiki. Are these all candidates for fixing? Because I'll fix them when I see them if so. If that's something that's best left for admins, I'll leave them alone. Dmunsil 01:41, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Aha. In my defense, I don't think I'm guilty of that particular sin. Others, yes, but that one no. :-) If you check the history I didn't have the category in itself; I had the page "Category:Fallout New Vegas casinos" in the category "Fallout: New Vegas gambling", which I think is the same way it is now (minus the extraneous notes, naturally) unless I missed something subtle. As to the overview page, should I add one and port over the content removed from the category page, or are you building it? Dmunsil 01:54, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
lets clarify.... why would u do something like this again
ok why did you lock the forum page let's clarify, it seems that you have no real reson to lock this page. now i dont feel like going on a big long theng so im going to say one thing. can you think back to the page that i made that you shut down (for resons that made no sense), well it seems that you are trying to do the same thing. now i would like to refer to when Reno left and changed his page, did you read it at all? --MrDot01 01:47, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
why i did it
i did it because it seems that you lerned nothing from it. Now to get to the real pount did you even read what reno changed his name to? it really fits in this forum. Your reasoning behind why you locked the page is straight up sophistry.
- the name is kinda cool
- If editers are doing things right then the summaries do have a bit of info and some one can get alot out of them
- saying Fallout 3 has good writing is a opinion (wich is kinda what some people use the forum for, and some people think its right)
- every person starts some were (unless you started at 1000). hell i deal with the forum's alot and im not a troll.
If two situation are this similar i cant halp but show it. --MrDot01 02:25, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
You locked a topic I was actually interested in finding the answer to myself, being in the same situation myself of only having played FO3 and FNV. I see a lot of talk about how bad 3 was etc from long time Fallout fans, I often wonder why people think it is so bad. But it was probably a good called based on the user who posted it. Avatar 03:39, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Ohhh hell no I aint opening that hornets nest, as I said I have seen a lot of talk about how bad people think 3 is, but never fully expressioned the reasoning behind it, I am all too aware that asking such a question is generally going to incite anger as a response. I was just hoping it may answer that very same question I have, without me being in the firing line =D But no you did do the right thing in locking it. Avatar 04:14, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
Ehh I was wrong for posting it anyway, seeing as I didn't have all of the proper information. I was at first angry but I see now that he was right. I posed a seemingly innocent question but due to the responses, I'm kinda glad it stopped seeing as it's not only a heated topic, but it did make me look like a troll :S LivingIgnorance 10:58, November 23, 2010 (UTC)
well im gon, i just cant stand it when people can just do away with some one ellses opinion because its differnt. Dont you try to think its not like that because you know it is, u just made up something so you could look like you were doing right. shit I dont care if your a admin or what ever self indulgent title you give your self takeing away some ones opinion is wrong. you need to grow up and relise your no beter then othere people. the wiki will go down hill if you just go on and stop everything you dont like, you are a fool. You will lern nothing from this but i thought i would speek my mind (i know how much you dis like that). now im may be leaving but that wount mean i wount check in now and again so if you could just leav my page (you can post on my talk page when your ready to say sorry hahahha). so yep bye i geuss this will be my 4th blocking. --MrDot01 20:35, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
yah thanks and thanks for not noticing IM NEW
User:GU3SS WHO has been periodically messing with Craig Boone's page and then recently messed with User:KaisarDragon's profile, so I guess this is how you go about telling an admin about this stuff? --Pongsifu 06:29, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

Help, Deadlykris abusing admin "rights"
I'm posting on another computer. I removed 1 set of the 2 identical pictures on the new vegas hunting rifle, giving my reason in edit info and talk. Deadlykris just used "undo" without reason and left me message telling me not to remove pictures. Now he's banned me from everything indefinitely (he just extended the ban, and i assume he will do so again and again) i can't even leave messages without another computer. His reason for ban is "removing content" which isn't even valid, nor is he using his admin "rights" to settle edit conflict.
user name dvd777 from ip 22.214.171.124 (real ip), check out contribution from my ip address if u think the user name is new. I mean I'm the one responsible for clearing up the pulse gun in silver rush post patch myth, I'm not doing stuff on whims.
First, got what you were saying with the game tag. I was just trying to remove the spoiler tag which seems to be on just about everything. Also, Madgod666 is creating a lot of useless location articles. Looks like he's taking the minor locations from the GameFAQs map and creating articles for them. Bonus: Third, changes to the main contents alright? Trying to spruce that up, getting rid of redundancies and what not. +DannyShotgun 05:51, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
It s appreciated
I must say, it feels nice being appreciated by one of the top guys of this wiki. I ll do my best to continue delivering the good work, should i make a fault somewhere let me know. Need Help with "For the Republic, Part 2
Hello, not sure where else to go and who to ask but I'm stuck on the Brotherhood of Steel part on the quest "For the Republic, Part 2," (FRP2). First off, I helped Paladin Hardin remove Elder McNamara so Hardin became the new Elder. Since I've sided with the NCR, I need to blow up the reactor in the BoS Hidden Bunker. For that to happen, I need 3 keycards or 100 Science skill (which i do not have), so i need to find the 3 keycards. I have found Head Scribe Taggat's keycard and Elder Hardin's keycard, but I cannot find McNamara's keycard and this wiki tells me that the 3 keycards i need to get are Head Scribe Taggat's, Head Paladin Hardin's, and Elder McNamara's. But since Hardin is the Elder, he has the keycard instead of McNamara. I have checked Paladin McNamara's body and did not find McNamara's keycard. I have checked other sites and they said that Paladin Ramos (or whatever his name is) might have it, but he does not. Where can I find the 3rd keycard??? --Nemesis1431 09:09, November 26, 2010 (UTC)
P.S- sorry, its Knight McNamara now, not Paladin McNamara.
I couldn't help but notice another cultural reference about Fawkes, the metahuman. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fawkes
As you know, in the comic and the movie "V for Vendetta", during protagonist' dark past at Larkhill Facility, he was imprisoned in the Cell 5. (hence, the Roman "V") Notably, Fawkes had also to endure the torturous "procedures" at Vault 87 and is locked in Room 5 as well.
for updating the FNV consumable create template. Much appreciated! :)
Sorry about those wrongly nominated pages for deletion. I see you reversed most of them, i think i understand why. However short the text often was, they were linked to several other pages. I didn t see that at the time i nominated them. Getting some help from Kris now on using templates. So that you now. --Jspoelstra 20:30, November 26, 2010 (UTC)
Bug Policy Progress?
Have we gotten any word on whether or not we are going to have a set Bug Policy put in place yet? -bleep196- 16:11, November 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Alrighty then, also we were discussing how we should show that a bug has been verified, since we have been having issues with Anons placing bugs into articles already having the Platforms template attached to it despite not having more than 1 person verifing it. They had some good ideas so heres the internal link[]
My beautiful cardzes
Hey Goth, got any idea where I could find a complete set of pictures of the caravan deck included in the Vegas collector's edition? I've been adding the card suits and numbers to the respective pages (Kimball is King of Hearts, Sarah Weintraub is 4 of Diamonds, etc.), but I can't find most of the cards. :/ Nitty Tok. 01:54, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
hi there, im new at this so youve got to bare with me. I was planning on expanding the page on cassidy caravans to include more information on the company, its history ect rather than it just being linked to the caravan wreckage which doesnt explain alot. Is that alright?

Hey Goth, I think I've known you for awhile, but I was just wondering. why was my post on the mysterious magnum deleted? it's not that I'm mad or anything, it's just that I'm kinda confused, because frankly alot of my posts have been deleted by you. once again, I'm not mad, I'm just curious. content was (posted in notes):
- given the base stats for weapons, the Mysterious Magnum is the most powerful (in terms of DAM) non-energy handgun that doesn't use 45-70 Gov't rounds, and is also the most powerful of it's class (being .44 magnum handguns), and even competes with the Trail Carbine (in terms of DAM).
oh, I didn't think about it that way. thanx goth :)
Hi- I'm new here like an understatement.
Stumbled over a bug for the ZRv418 pistol, that I experienced just yesterday on the P.C. I thought it as only listed as occurring on the PS3 and only now I've had enough coffee to see all three platform icons next to the listing in the article. Anyway, this then led me to your recent 'bugs policy' rehash page, I'm a little peeved at myself for missing the voting session by a handful of hours- and then from there to your profile here. I enjoyed reading your take on the history of gaming I don't think it could be said better.
So, when I first joined I jumped in head first with my contributions, which were the real life inspirations for in-game weapons. That earned me a quick beating from Kris and others, since it's apparently banned. Since rebounded, I still haven't found somewhere I can be remotely useful here, weapons being my primary area of expertise. I've learned my lesson from before, hence I was contacting you to see where to go with this bug, until I figured out it was listed for PC as well. I'm posting this anyway, both because I've already seen the dearth of work you've established here, and to say hi- but also to get a chance to hear what you think a new peon here at the vault might be most useful for, besides pissing off the elders and getting in the way. In reference to your rant on your profile page, I guess a user run wiki would be one of few things almost entirely isolated from mainstream $$$ and it's vile influences, no?
Thank you for taking the time to read this,
Sorry! I forgot About the no strateges in the articles !i wont do it again romise
I am having a discussion as to whether or not that book should be in the Fallout 3 books category when it appears only skill books appear there. Please check my talk page to see whats happening. Thanks. --Kingclyde 20:02, December 7, 2010 (UTC)

Alright, I will double check against the quest pages next time. But so you know, I do frequently check the bug pages on individual quest pages (since they show up in the recent changes so often) and a majority of the bugs I removed from the overall page I have seen in the individual pages. But again, next time I'll check them. --Pongsifu 13:19, December 9, 2010 (UTC)
So if they need to be readable, should I go ahead and remove the 3 non-readable quest books from Fallout: New Vegas books and magazines and their "book" tags? Does this only apply to the newer games or is that including the older ones as well? Because that would also encompass Fallout 2's "other books" Cat's Paw Issue No.5, Account Book, Cat's Paw Magazine (fallout 1 and tactics as well), Chemistry Journals (fallout 1 as well), Technical Manual, and "The Lavender Flower" (the Fallout 2 Hintbook is also listed as 'other' but is readable/useable). Oh and Naked Moose Mag. from Fallout Tactics.
Want to make sure these aren't considered books before I go removing any "book" tags from them. But should they stay on the main "books" page without the "book" tag or just removed from being a book altogether? --Pongsifu 13:27, December 9, 2010 (UTC)

No worrys, I had noticed a lot of people kept adding content and then it getting removed to keep it at 5 quotes. I think the real issue with Prime is that pretty much all the quotes boil down to the same thing (kill commies), so most people see them as all the same and therefore being noteworthy. This seemed like the simplest solution to keep both sides happy, took a few attempts to make the link work to refresh and bypass the wikis page caching. But now people can click away to see all the quotes they want =D ☣Avatar☣ 04:15, December 19, 2010 (UTC)

I enslaved Red to complete Strictly Business and I can't find the key to open the Slave Pen. How do I get in and where is the key?

He there. I am having an issue with this guy reverting edits and not taking time to review the edits made before reverting them. He has reverted legitimate edits because one word is misspelled (see the Big Book of Science entry on his user talk) and on the Alien Blaster he found a bug in the notes section. Rather than moving the bug and adding the verify tag, he reverted it and in the comment line he added "Belongs in bugs, with a verify tag". He seems rather fond of the revert button which you and I both know is not a good thing. I left a note on his page concerning this and mentioned that he should have made the move from notes to bugs. Well, anyways in a nutshell it appears that maybe to much work and so I called him out and now he's telling me to "get off his back". I'm just looking out for The Vault's integrity. Any support you can provide would be great as I don't think he'll pay attention to me. Thanks. --Kingclyde 20:14, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

" You guys are ridiculous, power tripping aholes. I'll change it all I want, until you fucking ban me. NukaNukaYay 09:58, December 23, 2010 (UTC) " is what he had to say when I told him the admins already settled the matter. Mictlantecuhtli 10:01, December 23, 2010 (UTC)

Cosmo knife thing
Ah, finally they re being deleted. I m glad, it was a massive amount of work going through all those uncategorized images, adding them to categories of marking them for deletion. And I ll look into Porters request of articles on the FNV portal, i make no promises but perhaps i can come up with something. --Jspoelstra 00:35, December 24, 2010 (UTC)
Just wondering, why were all of the strategies in the Article Gold Bar Deleted? Method 1 was proven to work, and I even had a video uploading now. Seems a little dumb to completely delete helpful information when its true and works, just because someone can't do it it in one try and come and edits a note saying that they don't work.--Fartensparten 05:09, December 24, 2010 (UTC)
Looking for Advice
I was originally planning to put in a request for Adminship in a week or so, but Bobbyb373's Adminship Request is making me reconsider, since the community might not want to vote in another admin so soon after Bobby. If his request is granted, do you think it will negatively impact my chances of success? Hal10k (Leonard Bernstein!) 21:56, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

Reverted edit to 'Lucky'
I'd like to point out that the name of the unique .357 revolver 'Lucky' is most likely not a coincidence. Lucky Luke is not as obscure as you might think, the character was not only published in comic books, but had an animated series and a live-action movie as well. The connections are obvious: The high firerate corresponds with Lucky Luke shooting faster than his own shadow, and the look of the gun matches that of the cover image on the wikipedia page. If that image is not clear enough for you, there is also a still from the 2009 movie that shows a club symbol on the grip of the gun (http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Lucky_Luke). Do you still think this is all a coincidence? LTK 70 22:50, December 25, 2010 (UTC)
Featured article suggestions
Hi Goth, I ve made a list of 15 featured article suggestions on the Forum:Featured article suggestions page, Vegas section, with just below it a link to the articles themselves. I should say, look them over and value them for worthiness for the New Vegas main page. If you think they re ok, i m willing to do 16 more, so we have a month. Another thing, Porter also asks suggestions for images, where are they supposed to be displayed then? Greets, --Jspoelstra 00:56, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
Why did you delete my post about johnny the homicidal maniac?
Ya I know trash is a character from Return of the Living Dead but is it not possible that there could be multiple cultural references in one area?
Ya she might have kept a diary in the movie but did she ever call it a Die-ary?
I know johnny did.
Both characters expressed their views of suicide and death in their books....but johnny is the only one who ever called it a die-ary.
I think my post is completly plausible and should be returned.
Alright fine, if other admins agree I'm not going to argue. I was just upset because those methods were the exact reason I visited the gold bar page at all. As long as they're somewhere for people to find I don't have a problem with it.--Never Summer 06:51, December 30, 2010 (UTC)

Having problems with portals
I was wondering if you could help me on my Fallout Wiki. You see, on every portal page I create, it looks like this: http://sv.fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Portal:Fallout
As you can see the whole portal content is all "pushed" together, because the ads and wiki activity is there. If you compare to the english Vault http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Portal:Fallout you can clearly see that the english has more "space" so to speak.
So... where can I change this, so it looks like the english The Vault? (Also keep in mind that my Vault is kinda new, so I may miss some pages, but I don't think so. Although if that's the case, please tell me what I'm missing)
Thank you for reading! tobulos1 21:22, December 30, 2010 (UTC)
Everyone knows it is a brand of motorcycle. How many people know that there was a movie 30 years ago (Galaxina) that had a religious cult (similar to the cult of ghouls here) that worshiped a motorcycle as The Lord, and they thought the lord's name was Harley-Davidson? I thought it was worthwhile bit of trivia, but you took it down. Fine by me, but your explanation that it is a motorcycle was pretty lame. We all know that. I tied the movie to this because they both involved cults. LVTDUDE 22:46, December 30, 2010 (UTC)
- Just because you recognize the characters' names as references to a motorcycle brand doesn't make it true. How are the characters related to Harley Davidson motorcycles? They're not. How are they related to my "obscure" movie reference? They are both related to ridiculous religious cults in post-apocalyptic settings. Dismissing this movie as a creative impetus, when the writers obviously references other post-apocalyptic movies, like Bladerunner, is short-sighted on your part. Both movies are from the same genre and were made 2 years apart. To think that the writers saw both movies isn't far-fetched at all. Just because one movie had Harrison Ford and the other Dorothy Stratten, doesn't mean that the lesser-known can't be influential. LVTDUDE 00:28, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
- If only blatantly obvious references are allowed, then why even have them? You may as well title the category, "References for those that live under rocks." LVTDUDE 00:59, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, I'm not trying to start anything, but if I want to say "only blatantly obvious" and you want to say "simple one-move connection", we just have a difference in descriptors. No need to get riled. LVTDUDE 01:36, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
- I'd put "cheers" through my decoder ring, but I don't think that would benefit either of us. We'll have to agree to disagree on this topic, I guess. Cheers. LVTDUDE 01:45, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

If you're on the PC, then take a look at the fucking bugs section before responding. If you're on a console, then play the game a little more. I'll take a picture if you still don't believe me. Yuri Kaslov 01:33, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
All American image
Hi Goth, I have replaced the All American infobox image. It appears our friend Yuri was right about that Airborne insigna. Probably the other side of image was taken. I can not match Avatars quality, but it looks allright to me. Just wanted to inform you about this. Greets, --Jspoelstra 02:31, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
Hi please change my username or delete my account. Thank you.
Yep, I finally returned to active duty here. I still have plenty of work at the Wolfenstein wiki where I adopted the wiki. As for New Vegas, steam says I have played a total of 146.5 hours and 15.3 hours in the last two weeks. I might be addicted. Maybe. I've been reviewing the active projects and am helping out here and there. I can't do anything on Dead Money as I have a PC (better than console any day). When I redid some all of the NV weapons pages and changed some of the data to match the GECK post-patch. Turns out to be good. I'm trying to keep up on bugs too. Well, back to work. Thanks and Happy New Year!--Kingclyde 03:02, January 2, 2011 (UTC)
Yrol banned me again
Since I was given a one day ban, my ban was removed and I joined back. Yrol told me he meant to permaban me so he banned me again. I did nothing wrong, and was given no warning nor a kick. 126.96.36.199 18:17, January 2, 2011 (UTC)

Because I thought it was spam; after all, you don't actually see the Courier do any of those things. Plus, it said something about sugar, yet in the ingredients for cooking it I saw no sugar listed. If you think it should be re-added however, I won't revert it
EDIT: Sorry for my clumsiness, I didn't realise it said 'As stated in the Fallout Manual' (Or something like that) AR700SAW 01:57, January 3, 2011 (UTC)
On Lorenzo Giovanni.
Look, I appreciate your moving the segment I added to it's proper place in the "behind the scenes" segment of the article, and the metalink to wikipedia, but without the line about Giovanni's corruption there is no context as to why he is a low life. It basically looks like he's named for two stand-up and well accomplished men. I am a Catholic, John Paul II even issued an apology for some of Leo X's actions. There is no controversy in the subject matter. It is an understood and accepted fact. And it is necessary for framing the logical complex of why he is a lender yes, but corrupt as well. I hope you will prove amenable to reason.
I decided to go through the videos and remove the ones that do not conform to policy. Should I tag them as marked for deletion first and then delete them or just delete them? Let me know. Thanks. --Kingclyde 02:51, January 3, 2011 (UTC)
- I've been floating through the vids and it looks like the vid policies of not uploading for user pages is ignored. I was curious if that applies to forums as well?--Kingclyde 04:53, January 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I'm almost done with the vids. I'm embedding the ones that should stay just to save server space. Plus embedded looks better in my eye. Let me know what you think. Thanks!--Kingclyde 05:05, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
Y did u reference hoover dam in the lone wanderers background, its completely irrelevant to the lone wanderer in fallout 3 (unknown user)
The Lonesome Drifter named Sue
thank you for clearing that up for me MaxRanger 00:41, January 5, 2011 (UTC)
Just a quick question, no hostility here if it comes off that way I'm sorry. How can you tell that the weapon Lucky isn't a reference to anything? The only reason why I suggested it could be related to the movie True Grit is because that movie is a Spaghetti Western, and New Vegas has some western themes to it. It could be a reference, but what makes you so sure it isn't? TrailerParkApe MkII 21:02, January 5, 2011 (UTC)
I found a vandal
An anonymous user by the ip address of 188.8.131.52 posted on the Small Guns page,
"They also quite frankly suck fat donkey dick. If you are wasting your time with small guns let along looking them up then you obviously are not playing the game right. I would insist at this very moment that you grab your copy of fallout and destroy it. I would prefer, as a fan, that an ignominious did not have possession of such a great game."
As you can clearly see, this is vandalism, and can you please block his IP Address before he causes anymore worse edits? Thanks in advance, Jackass2009 04:49, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
Hey, I agree with your feedback and I would like to take down the project, but I do not know how. Could you either take it down or tell me how, cuz I'm confused. Sombar1 06:13, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
Need help with a page move
There's two articles on the same character: Philippe and Phillipe. The second one is the most accurate version article-wise, but the first is the correct spelling of the name. Obviously this needs admin intervention. Can you fix this? -- Yukichigai 21:49, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
Infoboxs of FO:NV character
I'm looking to expand the GECK info on the wiki but I need some assistance on how I should do it. I used the infobox structure from here. I have seen the one used in Halford's article that shows the hitpoints etc. What would the proper infobox be to use. Thanks.--Kingclyde 23:03, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
I've got two to report, and I imagine you admins have enough on your plate already. Yes Man's page got vandalized, and someone made a page titled "Ronald mcdonald"
What business did you have deleting my comment? The Dumpster behind KFC 05:06, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
Since you put it like that, why don't we go delete everything in all the talk pages that doesn't pertain to editing the article. The Dumpster behind KFC 05:15, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
I personally think you just boost your edit count with pointless deleting and reverting. The Dumpster behind KFC 05:22, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
You also like to delete things based on personal opinion. I pay attention to the stuff you do on here. Especially on trivia related stuff. The Dumpster behind KFC 05:38, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
Harassment is different from a conversation. Although I did kind of figure you would terminate the conversation like this. I don't blame you it is a very popular tactic. Fear is man's greatest weapon. The Dumpster behind KFC 05:46, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
If it only applies to insulting other users, you wouldn't have been able to do anything about it anyway. Well, aside from deleting it of course. Also you shouldn't tell people to look at the CoC when you have violated it in the past. i.e. edit wars The Dumpster behind KFC 05:54, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
So I started up another playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas, and I have noticed some things that I haven't noticed in my other games. I'm just finishing the quest Come Fly With Me, and I already noticed some strange things I haven't noticed before. First off is the dead Bright ghouls having laser rifles and plasma rifles on their bodies. Second is that when I found Mr. RADical he wasn't lying in the middle of the road, but off to the side of the road. Third is when I went to the Toxic Dump just outside of Novac, the scavenger that is usually there had all of his limbs blown off. Fourth is when I was crossing the bridge back to Novac, I found a dead raider on the bridge. This is where my question comes in. There aren't supposed to be raiders in the game right? In my game it says "Search Raider". It's very bizarre and I want to know if you've come across this before. TrailerParkApe MkII 22:50, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
- Most of this is patch related, example with the energy weapons, along with beefing up the stats they where also placed earlier in the game on dead Bright Followers. As with the raider, they where adjusted along with other legacy content, there is random generation of a corpse near Novac now, see Raider armor (Fallout: New Vegas)#Locations. ☣Avatar☣ 23:07, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
Is there a layout guideline for creatures? I can find them for everything else but creatures. ☣Avatar☣ 17:58, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

Porter suggested to bring your attention to this here, since he is not up to date on the bug policy.
That is the actual spelling of it. I forgot all about it until I saw you deleted the article. I checked the GECK and found it but cant find it on out wiki. Do I need to add it. Also it looks like I need to update the Caesar NPC lists.--Kingclyde 05:59, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
