Alrighty then[edit source]

Thanks for the clarification! Now, I have a request for since you own the game: help me with the uncreated FOBOS quests! I know nothing about the game besides what I have read, and therefore can't really create the quest pages accurately. I'm sure you would know them, having beaten the game yourself. ;) Check out the Quest project page under the FOBOS collapsible table. Nearly all of the quests need to be created. I would like to see someone do so, and you seem like an overqualified candidate. :) Ghouly89 (Talk) 22:03, June 27, 2010 (UTC)

I understand. Not sounding creepy, I would wager it is around 17 past 11:00 or midnight there; I know time zones in Europe because I know a few people in Poland. ;) Anyway, I do own Fallout Tactics, I just don't really feel like playing it. I did start playing the first level, and IMO I hate it. If I could get past the first mission and on to better missions, I might actually like the game =D. About FOBOS, is it backwards-compatible on the Xbox 360, or is it an original Xbox-only game? Ghouly89 (Talk) 22:21, June 27, 2010 (UTC)

Hey[edit source]

Hey how can you be a Enclave type yet be a good guy and love BoS it doesnt make sense

Enclave[edit source]

Yes I know but they do know killing every wastelander isnt right therfore most enclave are considered evil but fallout 3 you can tell that Colonol Autumn is a good guy as he wants the wasteland to have fresh water even having thoughts of a rebellion as of the soldiers they think of what they are doing is right but President Eden wants the Wasteland Destroyed but the soldiers dont know that. Autumn Knew this but thought that the FEV project was canceled and that they were gonna start the purifire without it being tainted. so I see what you mean.

Yes I know the soldiers are unaware

Fallout: New Vegas[edit source]

Please stop moving the FNV sections below FOBOS. We order sections by canonicity, and according to Bethesda FNV is fully canon, FOT is semi-canon and FOBOS is not canon. Which means FNV sections go below FO3 and above FOT. Thanks. -- Porter21 (talk) 07:36, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Black Isle Studios didn't consider FOT and FOBOS to be canon either. Ausir(talk) 18:17, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
FOT and FOBOS were made or contracted by other parts of Interplay without any consultation with Black Isle. Therefore Black Isle devs did not consider them canon when making Van Buren. Ausir(talk) 10:59, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Ugly white squares[edit source]

Why did you do that to the Black Widow and Lady Killer images? We're supposed to use transparent images... Nitty Tok. 16:11, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

Sure, okay. Not many of the perk images actually need to be replaced, except maybe Lifegiver, because of the odd beard graphic. Nitty Tok. 16:17, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

Rubber shells[edit source]

Oh hey, I had a question for you.

I know you've played Tactics. Have you ever seen the 12 gauge rubber shotgun shells? I got as far as Great Bend during my playthrough, and I never found any. In addition, I can't find any information about them anywhere else, on Game Banshee or GameFAQs, but they are in the Tactics editor.

Are they anywhere in Cheyenne Mountain, or maybe Vault 0? Do they exist at all? Nitty Tok. 21:06, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

Alright. I'm almost to Freeport, so I'll get to the end eventually. XD Nitty Tok. 20:49, September 6, 2010 (UTC)
Like I said, I got to Great Bend last time. My character, Pimp-Boy, has 200% everything and 500 HP, so I should be fine. :D Nitty Tok. 21:49, September 6, 2010 (UTC)

See the Built to Destroy article's talk page before re-adding your edits; they are wrong. --Kris User Hola.jpg 14:18, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

My friend, perhaps it is a language-related difficulty you are having. But it is clearly not a reference to the movie. "Born to kill" and "Built to destroy" do not call each other to mind. Also, the picture makes no reference to the movie, while the pics of other traits, etc., do clearly imitate the media they reference.--Gothemasticator 21:33, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

Power armor[edit source]

I've switched the organization simply because the layout as made by you was infinitely confusing. There is no evidence that the Mk II in Fo3 is different than the one in Fo2 and, as much as I hate it, this is a retcon we must accept, especially since it's stated *explicitly* that it's the same version. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 16:48, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

Psycho has a completely different effect in Fo3 than in Fo1/2, yet we have them on the same page as the same drug. Do not mistake gameplay balancing for storytelling. In terms of story, the mk II is identical on both coasts, which is also explicitly stated in Fallout 3. You cannot ignore that.
And the NCR salvaged power armour is indeed a power armour. Just because you don't have to have power armour training to wear doesn't mean it's a power armour. If it has a power pack and it's used to move the armour around, it's a power armour. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 18:10, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
Did you actually understand what I wrote? The salvaged armour obviously has a power pack jury-rigged to it, therefore, it's a power armor. As for the mk II, why are you ignoring an explicit in-game statement that it's the same armor? http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 18:30, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
It is the same armour. Says so on a terminal in Fallout 3. If you have a link to where MCA says it isn't the same armour, then share it, please. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 18:50, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
What you sent me is a disorienting, confusing piece of writing. My system stays true to the in-game lore without trying to create fan fiction, like yours does. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 19:25, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
Not really. The majority elected Adolf Hitler into office and we all know how that went down. Point is, there is nothing to discuss here. The game explicitly states that it's the same type of armour, therefore it's the same type of armour. I suggest you take your "not take literally and think" advice to heart and understand that the Mk II being weaker in Fallout 3 is simply a gameplay concession, not to be taken at face value, otherwise, you'd have to rationalize why suddenly no armour has damage thresholds in Fallout 3 and no damage resistance is present in New Vegas, while both were present in earlier titles. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 19:45, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
The majority is not infallible. I simply rely on facts available in the game. Yes, the sprite in Fallout 2 does not look like the armour in Fallout 3, however, Fallout 3 is a game that's been released later and retconned that fact. By the way, just because someone doesn't clean up the home, doesn't mean it's supposed to be dirty, so your argument "it's been like that for over a year" is pretty silly. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 20:27, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

It is not clear whether the armor is meant to be a retcon with the intent that it's the FO2 APA Mk 2, and that the FO2 APA Mk 2 looked identical to the Mk 1 simply because of limited assets, or whether it's supposed to be a redesign. The former is more likely, unfortunately, because it's clearly stated in-game to be a Mk 2, and not e.g. Mk 3 or something like that. Ausir(talk) 20:34, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

The differences in gameplay mechanics between FO1 and 2 and FO3 and FNV are too big to base any conclusions about the background on that. Ausir(talk) 20:52, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think the DT and DR are the same principle, the protection of the wearer. Why T-51b to a better defense than the Mk 2 of Fallout 3, whereas this was not the case on the Mk 2 of Fallout 2 ? Even Fallout: New Vegas confirms that the Mk 1 is higher than the T-51b like Fallout 2. Well if it's not clear, I propose to discuss it with the administrators. Itachou [~talk~] 20:59, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

It's a matter of gameplay balance more than anything else. The T-51b in FO3 was overpowered because it was a unique item there for some reason. Ausir(talk) 21:05, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
"Leather armor" is a pretty generic designation, while "Advanced power armor Mk 2" suggests a specific model. Ausir(talk) 21:08, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
Best to copy the discussion so far to a forum thread. Ausir(talk) 21:18, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

The remnants armor's filename is "armor\AdvancedPowerArmor\AdPowerArmor.NIF". As far as I know, there is no in-game mention of it being the Mk II, so I think it's best to assume it's Mk II unless mentioned otherwise. Ausir(talk) 01:00, November 6, 2010 (UTC)

Theme Designer[edit source]

Looks like one of the admins changed all the site's colors using the Theme Designer again. Do NOT do that. Looks like some people think that it only changes their theme and do not realize that it screws up the skin for the entire wiki. It's an administrative tool, not something for setting up a personal theme. Ausir(talk) 17:00, November 4, 2010 (UTC)

We are Legion[edit source]

Well, we've got plenty of space to just stretch out infoboxes; just look at the locations under United States Armed Forces. I like it like that. We should especially keep the Denver and Reservation links for the Legion, just because they're Van Buren and not Vegas locations. Nitty Tok. 02:01, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

APA continued[edit source]

  1. The thumb is not appropriate for an overview page. Every other image is frameless.
  2. You have no proof that the armour was redesigned in 2277, therefore it should not be given as a date. Instead, "later" is an appropriate adjective.

http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 20:26, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Ausir is not a dictator, nor would he want to be. What I made are cosmetic changes that reflect the facts: we do not know when it was modified, so calling it a 2277 model is erroneous. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 22:01, November 5, 2010 (UTC)
It could have been modified any time between 2241 and 2277. --Kris User Hola.jpg 22:21, November 5, 2010 (UTC)
I disagree about it sounding "ugly and unprofessional". Also, considering its widespread use and the fact that they've finished working on the upgraded Hellfire variant in 2277, it's highly unlikely that they redesigned it in 2277. It has to be well before then. --Kris User Hola.jpg 22:27, November 5, 2010 (UTC)
How about "APA Mark II redesign"? I've gone ahead and changed the article, seems like it would satisfy everyone. --Kris User Hola.jpg 22:40, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Disguises category[edit source]

I think that's a good idea. We could also do up a disguises navbox as well, or a new subsection of {{Navbox armors FNV}}. We'd still list the disguises in the regular armor sections, but also put it in the disguises section. --Kris User Hola.jpg 23:36, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Appearances[edit source]

Yeah, there's not much point in having these sections on game-specific item pages - they can be safely removed. Appearances in other games should be covered on overview pages, which should be linked to at the top of each game-specific page via {{for}}. Ausir(talk) 23:37, November 7, 2010 (UTC)

silver run pulse gun[edit source]

I am at level 30. waited months and seen many re-stocks in the silver rush. It doesn't sell pulse gun, ever. Maybe you have unpatched version of the game. My version of the game doesn't have pulse gun in the silver rush and the GECK shows it shouldn't. If you feel other wise, discuss in the talk page. and maybe go read the wikia rules again.

Alright[edit source]

In the meantime I will keep using it with low melee, etc see if I can't figure out what is causing it to kill a 250hp creature in one hit without maximizing damage. Mictlantecuhtli 18:11, November 12, 2010 (UTC)

Blocking users for editing their own talk page[edit source]

I was under the impression that we didn't block users for editing their own talk page except in extreme circumstances - and removing a message would not qualify as extreme by any stretch of the imagination. I don't understand why you did so to Mictlantecuhtli. --Kris User Hola.jpg 18:17, November 12, 2010 (UTC)

Laser RCW[edit source]

Why did you remove the HTML comments from Laser RCW? They're there to deter morons from adding a real-life reference to the tommy gun. No sooner were they removed did someone come along and do exactly that. I've re-added the comments; please don't remove them again. --Kris User Hola.jpg 12:15, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

It's not the only one; I found it necessary to use a similar series of comments on Anti-materiel rifle as well. It's definitely not a common thing, nor should it be, but sometimes it's necessary. --Kris User Hola.jpg 16:22, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

Nice job on that Legionnaire assassin Model, could you do a similar one for the rest of Caesar's Legion? Like the Decanus, Veteran legionary, Prime legionary, and a Praetorian? Remnant Armor Tip[edit source]

Sorry about the big text in the Remnant Armor tip. I was just too worried to talk little and leave holes in my explanation that might cause frustation with the readers that try to follow that mini-guide. Is there any place where I could post the miniguide and just put an external link in the tip, making the tip much lower than the actual size? (Although I really wouldn't like to do that, I'd like to leave any contribution and knowledge about fallout in the vault, not outside of it).

Legion Models[edit source]

Thanks for replying, can't wait for the rest of the legion and the president and general to be posted. At first i didn't think i would like the new main factions over the brotherhood and enclave, but the legion looks awesome and so do the rangers(not sure about the rest of NCR though).

Legion Models[edit source]

I saw the Centurion and the legionary decanus last night, they're awesome. I'm looking forward to the general and the scout tonight. I think in the next game it would be nice to see how the rest of the world is in this post-apocalyptic world. Like it would be cool to see a Samurai like faction with their own versions of Power Armor, maybe invading California.

Image characters faction and others[edit source]

The general and the scout look great, i don't know if i want to shack the general's hand or crucifix him. Understandable about them focusing it in the u.s. in that case i hope the next game is in New York, it would be interesting to see a cult to the "Great Goddess of Liberty". Plus it would be nice to see the commonwealth that's mentioned in Fallout 3. Good luck on the second play through, I'm still trying to get the game myself, should have it this winter break though. Who do you think i should side with first, the Legion or NCR? So far from what I've read i don't like House and the Wild Card seems a bit tricky. Hope to see more models soon, Maybe tomorrow a veteran Legionary, Praetorian, and the president? I leave that up to you. Have a good night.

pulse gun again[edit source]

I found the Gun cabinet Skateordie1213 mentioned in the pulse gun page. It just contains some random weapons and ammo, no pulse gun. Now I'm locked out of the page lol. Can you correct that page please and maybe increase the level of lock on that page? 137.186.66.8

Image characters faction and others[edit source]

No new Legionaries Tonight? No problem, I'm sure you'll post them eventually.

Legion Assassin, Legion Models, Image characters faction and others[edit source]

Hey Itachou,

I've made my own account so i can communicate with you better. Nice images on the metal armors, hope to see more soon. Good luck on the second play through, I'm still trying to get the game myself, should have it this winter break though. Who do you think i should side with first, the Legion or NCR? So far from what I've read i don't like House and the Wild Card seems a bit tricky. Talk to you later.

No Problem[edit source]

No problem, Thank you for replying back, at first i though i was getting annoying. As for the choices(NCR and the legion), how are they in compares to equipment? I had watched a video some posted on youtube of doing the last mission as Legion and while the legion looks very powerful, it seems a little bit unfair that NCR had power armor soldiers, even if the armor is stolen. I suppose that I'll make the decision when i get the game, play one then the other. Also, with the other models I've asked for could you find one more? this one is not as major as the president and the rest of the legion, but when i was watching the video of the final mission of the legion i noticed warriors fighting along side the legion. at first i thought they were legionaries cause of the face masks but then i remembered that legionaries don't have horned helmets. that's when i realized they were Great Khan warriors.could you eventually post one of them? I'll look forward to the next models you post. :)

Tactics[edit source]

Yeah, I'm being slow.

But oh god, Rex is just the most amazing dog ever. I can't be torn away from Vegas! Nitty Tok. 03:08, November 19, 2010 (UTC)

Not again...[edit source]

The reinforced combat armor is clearly meant to be the FO1 and 2 combat armor, and so the Mk II version of it is clearly meant to be the FO2 one too, even if there are slight visual differences. Do not separate them again, please. And there is no point in having separate entries for the two versions of the security uniform either. Ausir(talk) 22:33, November 19, 2010 (UTC)

No, you're wrong. It's simply that the FO1 and 2 version of combat armor was called "reinforced" in FNV to distinguish it from the more basic variant from FO3. The reinforced Mk 1 and Mk 2 from FNV are the same armors as their FO1 and 2 counterparts. Also, on overview pages, basic variants should all go before faction variants. And color is irrelavant - it's not as if an armor cannot be repainted. Ausir(talk) 22:38, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, but your assumptions that they're supposed to be different armors is too far fetched. It being FO2's combat armor Mk II is the only reasonable explanation. The FO2 version was just slightly recolored, while for FNV they decided to make it a bit more distinguishable, but it's definitely supposed to be the same armor. Just like the Mk I reinforced combat armor was supposed to be the return of the classic FO1 variant, its Mk II version also must be the same armor, even if it looks slightly different. Your line of reasoning is like assuming that Marcus in FO2 and FNV must be different mutants because they do not look 100% identical. The word "reinforced" was added simply because of the more basic combat armor that was introduced in FO3. Ausir(talk) 22:51, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
If FO1's combat armor is now combat armor, reinforced then the mark II version of that is the mark II combat armor from FO2. It's not a hypothesis, it's a fact. If you don't see how one implies the other then I am really beyond words. Just like Marcus (who does not look 100% identical, nor do super mutants in general - they are somewhat half-way between the FO1/2 ones and the FO3 ones visually) or the Avenger minigun, it was slightly redesigned visually, but it is still supposed to be the same item. Ausir(talk) 23:10, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
I just e-mailed a FNV developer from Obsidian (anonymously, so I'm not saying which one, but I hope you believe me - it's not as if I'd pull a cheap stunt like that just to win an argument), actually, and he confirmed that it's supposed to be the same armor, even if the artist's interpretation of it was slightly different visually. And for all intents and purposes, they do have the same name, if you ignore the fact that the word "reinforced" was added only in order to distinguish it from the basic combat armor introduced in FO3. Ausir(talk) 23:19, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
The evidence is in the game itself for me, I've asked just for the sake of having this over with. And I have frequent contacts with quite a few Fallout devs, although they do not always want me to state that they've been talking to me (since Bethesda might not like it, for example, as they like to control all communication with fans). Anyway, if you doubt my word on this, I really don't have much to say to you. Ausir(talk) 23:31, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
The dev's reply (to my question whether combar armor, reinforced and combat armor, reinforced Mk II from FNV are the same as combat armor and combat armor Mk II from FO1/2) was simply "yeah, they are definitely supposed to "be" the original combat armors from f1/2". You can either take my word for it or call my a liar, in which case I don't have any more to say to you. As I said, the in-game naming is proof enough for me, and for pretty much everyone else. The artist's interpretation of it not looking 100% identical to the FO2 one is irrelevant. Ausir(talk) 23:46, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
No offence, but I do have more of a reputation in the Fallout community than you do. And a few articles actually do have information acquired from the developers personally by me in their references. Anyway, in this case it is clear for pretty much everyone but you that it doesn't need any outside references. It's clear from the game itself. I'm sorry, but this is just silly. I'm done arguing about it. Ausir(talk) 00:26, November 20, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not going to repeat all my arguments again, since you seem to not be able to comprehend them. I'll just clarify that I did not write to him anonymously, I'm just saying that he asked me not to use his name. And when he's saying it's supposed to be the same armor, he says that it is the same armor - maybe your English is not good enough to grasp it. Ausir(talk) 16:00, November 20, 2010 (UTC)

When Ausir says it's clear to pretty much everyone, he's right. At least from my standpoint. If he says that a developer told him something, then I'm not inclined to disbelieve it without irrefutable evidence. --Kris User Hola.jpg 16:23, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
When the dev says "supposed to be", that should be interpreted as "intended to be" not "was going to be, but we changed it". I also never said that he's a god, or that he's always right. I did say that I believe him when he says that he emailed a developer and that developer responded. What reason would he have for lying? None whatsoever. --Kris User Hola.jpg 16:44, November 20, 2010 (UTC)

Legionary main gate guard[edit source]

Hey more Legionaries. :) Hope we'll see more today. Thanks for continuing to post them.

Praetorian guard[edit source]

Very Nice:) that just leaves the Prime and Veteran legionaries in the legion. Plus President Kimball. Thanks for posting it. :)

I understand your having trouble with the community right now, just want to know if your going to post any more images today? If not it's okay. :)

Will there be any new images today?

No problem, feel better. When you finish your play-through on Caesar's side, let me know which you think would win a fight. the legion or the enclave? As for the images, The only ones id like to see, when you can, are the veteran legionary and the President. I saw how you did the legate's armor image and those would be good poses for the last 2 If you can, if not, the way you've been doing them is fine. Take care. :)

Hey man, hope all is well? Will you be posting any images today?

A Veteran Legionary and the president if you can. If it is possible to add a prime legionary as well that would be cool, otherwise just the first 2.

Also, since you've fought and played as the legion(Even if you haven't finished them), who do you think is better, the legion or the enclave?

I see where your going with that. I have unfortunately only played Fallout 3(trying to get the first games), and i figured that the legion might only have the advantage in numbers. But let's be reasonable, Legate Lanius could easily win a fight with Colonel Autumn. Thanks in advance for the posts and good luck with the rest of your legion play-through. we'll talk later in the week if there are any other images I'd like to see. Good luck :).

I'll try to get the original eventually, but for now I'm trying to get New Vegas. And from what I've seen of the video's, i agree about Lanius. Though i doubt that General Oliver will be that tough on his own. what's tough about him is his guards. I for one was a little disappointed in the final battle of Fallout 3, you start of with a huge battle, a giant robot helping to fight a huge amount of Enclave warriors, and then you fight Autumn, who i killed with his guards with one head shot each, so I'm looking forward to the final fights in New Vegas.

The models are Awesome. thanks Friend:)

Other than the Prime legionary, there are only 2 more character's from what i've read and seen in videos i'd like to see. a great khan warrior, i think that where these helmets http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/File:Great_Khan_helmet.png, and Motor-runner, the fiend leader. no rush with these and thanks again for the images. :)

Morning man. If your able to do more images today, and if you are still unable to do a prime, could i request a great khan warrior and Motor-Runner,Leader of the Fiends? If not it's ok. You know what also would be cool for the next Fallout game, either it takes place in New york, or they go back to the fallout tactics 2 idea and do the Gulf coast. and like New Vegas make multiple factions you can join, one of them the enclave, maybe finally giving them a foothold in the wastelands. Have a good day. :)

Sorry, i'm new to wikis so i'm still getting use to this form of communication. Thank you for looking for the images, those 2 and the prime will probably be the last one's i'll look for(until there's a good DLC). Hopefully there will be good factions in the future. Thanks friend. :) Lichlord08 17:10, November 23, 2010 (UTC)

Guess you couldn't post any of them today, no problem. I'm going to have trouble communicating the next few days cause i'm visiting family but i'll try to keep in contact.Lichlord08 02:52, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

You're up early. nice images of the mark II and mister handy. Hope you can post more today. Have a good day:).Lichlord08 14:21, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Alright, thanks friend:). I would be able to write back for a while so thanks in advance for posting the images, both these and the ones before. :)Lichlord08 14:30, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

The images are great. Other than the prime legionary, there are two other i'd like, one might be harder than the other. the first is lucius, the praetorian leader, and the second is elder lyons, one of my favorite characters from fallout 3. there are images of his robes but with out his face it looks weird. Thanks again friend:).Lichlord08 15:14, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks:). I should be getting New Vegas for Christmas. I'm really looking forward to it. I also hope Dead Money will be an Interesting DLC. :)Lichlord08 15:31, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Just to let you know if you post the images today, I'm with family today and probably won't be able to reply to anything until much later tonight. Thanks in advance and have a good day. :)Lichlord08 13:17, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

I've got a minute. Nice image of Caesar. I was supried about him. when i first heard about him and the legion i thought he was a complete wack job. But after hearing him speak i see he's quite sane, evil, but sane. HOpe there will be more images today and talk to you tomorrow. :) Lichlord08 16:28, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

I guess no more tonight, no problem. Oh ,if your still looking for a weapon for the prime legionary to use i saw a video of and ncr ending where they were wielding axes. a thought. have a good night. :)Lichlord08 03:15, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

Will you post any new images today?Lichlord08 19:52, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

Ok, congrates on the promotion. :)Lichlord08 20:44, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

Looks cool. Have you managed to fin centurion armor for your character yet? I saw on your page that it's one of your favorite. it must be hard to get it helping the legion than fighting them. What's your opinion on Caesar himself?Lichlord08 20:55, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

Hey man, everything cool?Lichlord08 22:20, November 29, 2010 (UTC)

Combat armor[edit source]

  1. Stop harassing Ausir. He is a professional translator and one of the people who translated Fallout 3, which proves that he is fully proficient with the language, since he was picked for such a high profile title. I would also be wary of accusing him of lying or trying to discredit his Fallout knowledge and contacts. I know Ausir personally and I have confirmed that he is speaking the truth. Furthermore, he has no interest in lying, as the founder of The Vault, he always has its credibility and accuracy at heart whenever he edits and posts.
  2. "Supposed to be" is an expression meaning basically "it's the same thing, but I can see how someone can claim it's not". I've a Certificate of Proficency in English, so I have a good knowledge of idioms and expressions.
  3. If you are still not convinced, log into Obsidian's official forums and ask J.E. Sawyer about the armour via PM. Stop trying to circumvent facts with polls and trying to draw others into your personal war against Fo3/NV. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 17:34, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
  4. Ausir's English skills are above par for native English speakers. I don't know if he is one or not, but he's more articulate than most people I deal with on a daily basis. Your English skills, however, leave much to be desired. I don't have the same certificate that Tagaziel has, but I do know that my own English skills are exceptional. --Kris User Hola.jpg 17:48, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
I know Ausir personally. He has no interest in lying in such a minor argument and has proven his integrity time and time again. If you can't trust him, that's your problem. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 20:02, November 20, 2010 (UTC)

Official guides[edit source]

Official guides are considered canon as long as they don't contradict in-game info. And they should always be referenced via <ref>. What is Harold's birthdate according to the guide? And what other bits of info have you found? Ausir(talk) 15:55, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

Sounds good. Where did you get the FO1 guide, btw? Ausir(talk) 19:50, November 22, 2010 (UTC)
Cool, please add it to the relevant pages. If you find any other interesting bits of background info there, let me know! Ausir(talk) 00:03, December 1, 2010 (UTC)

No hard feelings[edit source]

Hey, no problem. Just be a little more considerate and (my suggestion) when you're pissed off, review what you wrote two more times before you post it. I do that when I'm annoyed and it often works. On a slightly different note, is it possible for you to simply have the Fallout Guide scanned by someone else, like a printing shop or something? http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 21:28, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

Question about categorizing[edit source]

Hi Itachou,

First of all congrats on your 5000th edit! I have a question which you may able to answer for me. I ve veen uploading map marker images and now i ve been told to categorize them. Already had some help from administators but i still can get it right. It s getting frustrating. Just saw you online so i thought i try it with you. At what point do i put in the category when i upload such an image? Already at the point of uploading the image (where you put in the licensing and filesize), after which you return in the edited page? Or is it after this? Kris says that on the my contributions page there s an edit button, but i dont see it. I have to go the image page but i can t find it. Step by step help would be appreciated, so i can continue with my edits. I have map marked lots more and am waiting to upload it, with category.

By the way, how do you create those sharp images? Just with the Geck?

Let me know something, ok? --Jspoelstra 16:58, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

  • Merci (you re French right?) for the help, Itachou. Finally figured it out, the Megaton example was helpful.

Images[edit source]

Some I did and some I didn't, mostly I replaced the ones I could make better copy's of. The issue is that my uploads are not always showing, as Wiki doesn't want to update the pictures right away. But the ones I replaced where mostly done over a year ago, the ones you have done recently I have left because... well because they are far superior to anything I can make at the moment. ☣Avatar☣ 22:09, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

Takes me less than a min to make one once I fond the right image. I do it all in Photoshop, simple load up the .DDS file. Select the alpha channel and invert the selection to paint the background black. Then select the alpha channel again and paint it white to bring up the white level a bit. Then select the alpha channel and each separate RGB channel and expand the selection to give me the 2px black boarder. Copy and paste into a new sized tab and remove the background layer, if the white is still that grey dull white I select it with the magic wand at a tolerance of 35 and then select similar and hit it with another layer of white to finish it off. It actually takes me longer to do a GECK image than doing ones of these icons, although not much longer =D
But I plan on replacing all the images since there is so many variants and levels of white etc, I want to get them all at the same constinacy across every page, there is just to many variants that it dont look professional. The only ones I am not touching are the high res images you have done, since they are a much better mark up version than I am doing at present. ☣Avatar☣ 22:36, November 26, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah I saw your correction on the fallout 2 image, good catch on your half. Most of them I keep separate and duel displayed, I am think I might make a gallery for multi game perks etc to show all variations of the image. But I am going to go back through them all and double check to make sure I have not done the same mistake. Also slightly improved my technique for the images that makes it easier and yields better results.
As for the older games I am going to try and get hold of the original game files and see if i can do something with those as well. ☣Avatar☣ 00:42, November 28, 2010 (UTC)

This is about the best I can do with a quick once over, the issue is that being .Gif files, they dont have that much usable information within the file to help with any real editing. ☣Avatar☣ 01:35, November 28, 2010 (UTC)

MENTALBK2.png

I take it you didn't like the gallery idea in Swift Learner, I was going to add all the variants with caption as to which game they represented, so readers could see the differences. leaving a single image in the info box to the most current game and therefore the most likely to be relevant to any readers. ☣Avatar☣ 17:21, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the gift =D ☣Avatar☣ 16:27, November 30, 2010 (UTC)

yah, thankfully others have. It also helped me realize you already had a picture of a prime legionary in the form of the assassin, which is in prime armor, so i needed a recruit. I'll check out the site tonight. Have a good night my friend:).

EC Paris[edit source]

I read about the mod, looks cool. I had wondered how the rest of the world was like in fallout. What are the major factions in it? Who are the major "Evil" groups?

I also have a question about Caesar's Legion no one seems to want to answer me about, which is higher in rank, veterans or primes? I would think because of the armor that the veterans would be but the military hierarchy page of the legion says different. Which is it? Have a good night my friend:).Lichlord08 01:45, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, good to know. There is only two images left i'm looking for and that's elder Lyon's robes updated with him as the model wearing it, and a white glove society member, fully dressed with mask. Your monk faction idea reminds me of the praetorians a bit. I can't wait to hear about the others. Still, with the primes and veterans, if the primes are better, they should have the better looking armor, that's just my opinion. Have a good day:).Lichlord08 12:15, December 15, 2010 (UTC)

One idea for a faction in the mod, though it might be a little distasteful, given France's history, would be a german group based off the Hitler's regime. Like i said a little distasteful, I'm Jewish myself, but it's a thought, just have the military part and not the ideals, like how Caesar's legion is focused on the military aspect of ancient Rome and not the rest of it. A game came out called wolfenstein that has some armors that could be modified as a form of power armor http://wolfet.co.uk/wolfmap/wolfenstein_blog_0168.jpg. This is just a thought. like i had said, the only images i need are elder Lyon's robes updated with him as the model wearing it, and a white glove society member, fully dressed with mask.Take care my friend

Just got an idea for another faction. How about combining NCR rangers and BOS(Brotherhood of Steel)and have the faction based of the Musketeers? I was watching a show called deadliest warriors where they showed the weapons and fighting styles of the Musketeers, and it's similar to how the rangers fight, but they have excellent close combat with rapiers. Maybe high tech rapier as a signature weapon? also since the Musketeers were only of nobility, this could play into them only recruiting from their own ranks, like the BOS. This is just another idea. :)Lichlord08 22:02, December 15, 2010 (UTC)

Special Request for Maintenance Help[edit source]

Porter has pointed out that Category:Nominated for deletion has a backlog of about 2,000 image files. Please give this category some attention. I am asking you and about 20 other editors who have shown a willingness to contribute regularly to The Vault to aim for reviewing and taking appropriate action on 100 of the images marked for deletion. If we all do our part, things will be manageable again by the end of the holidays. Thanks for your help!

  • If an image has been superceded by a better image, delete it.
  • If an image is unused or unlinked to by any page, delete it unless it is unique and worth having. Perhaps we will use it sometime. If you can think of a use, please add it to that page.
  • If an image should not be deleted, remove the delete tag.

A little question[edit source]

In the followers of the apocalypse talk page was that post an anwser to mine? because it wasn't in the same headline, but in that case i would do it but the article is locked and i can only view the source.--Nuke-a-Punch 23:56, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Deus Ex Wiki[edit source]

I could only make you an admin if there were no active bureaucrats on the wiki. Given that there is an active bureaucrat, it's in his discretion to give you the access or not. You might want to also ask Cam2A, who, while currently inactive, recently gave bureaucrat rights to Elpeppo87. Ausir(talk) 18:45, January 13, 2011 (UTC)

Welcome back[edit source]

Salut Itachou, long time no see. Feeling a bit homesick to the old Vault? How are you doing? I heard you were an admin on the Deus-Ex wikia. Hope it works out for you. I'm applying for admin here, and having a good chance at it, don't you think? We miss you here, hope to see you a bit more again. Greets, Jspoelstra 02:47, March 5, 2011 (UTC)

Transcludesection[edit source]

Which part of the page do you want to transclude? and which page do you want to transclude it into? User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 01:25, March 8, 2011 (UTC)

You need to add the tags to denote which part you want transcluded, I have added the transcluded tags with the name background to the background section of the Villa page, it should now work. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 01:30, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
Yep, you're correct, the base page also needs to be edited. All the details and available options can be found on the template page {{transcludesection}}. And thanks for the kind words =D User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 01:47, March 8, 2011 (UTC)

Bonjour[edit source]

I'm glad to see you today, Itachou. I really hope you are able to somehow spare some free time here again. I liked your edits to the Dead Money pages yesterday. I've been very active and I have noticed that a few weeks after the release there wasn't so much done anymore to those pages. So your edits there are very welcome. About the Brotherhood of Steel pages, yes sadly, there's is not much done about it. Has also to do with that it's an older game of course and its consoles are limited (no PC). Greetings, Jspoelstra 16:34, March 8, 2011 (UTC)

"Precedent ending formatting"[edit source]

Where was this been set as a precedent? None of the FNV companions use it for endings. --Flower of Pock-Lips 20:17, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

While on the subject, dont you think it would be better to use definition list markup to create mock headers and indent text, instead of bullet points and bolding. See example in Elijah User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 22:04, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
Itachou, while I appreciate that English isn't your first language, this is an English-language wiki, and these changes were not made out of spite, but to make the articles more readable. Much of the information is grammatically poor, unencyclopedic and at some points unverifiable/false. Do not take it personally when it is improved, the wiki is a collaborative project. As a final point, I'd appreciate it if you'd like to discuss before you revert edits wholesale. --Flower of Pock-Lips 23:17, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
I looked at all those things you listed, and all of them are already implied or outright stated in different words in the article. When I edited, none of them were removed, just reworded. Just because you don't understand the language enough to see that doesn't mean you should throw a hissy fit and start handing out bans. In some cases my edits were actually more specific. To put it simply, the content of the article was more or less totally unchanged, it was just the wording I corrected. I assumed that what you were objecting to was the removal of the paragraph on the actions of the Courier after arriving at the Sierra Madre, which I restored with my second round of edits, reworded so it actually makes sense, and placed in the "interactions" section, but you banned me before I even had a chance to explain myself. Your reverts also went far beyond changing back the parts you objected to, and now most of the notes are no longer comprehensible and the infobox contains inappropriate information.
And as for your conduct, I've had many disputes with editors, some of them admins, in my short time here, but never has one felt the need to throw their weight around and first threaten me, and then follow that through with a ban after only two edits. You acted in bad faith, calling me a vandal and banned me because you took offense to me improving your edits. I've half a mind to request a reconfirmation of your admin status in the forum. --Flower of Pock-Lips 19:37, March 15, 2011 (UTC)

Pipboy images[edit source]

I don't suppose you could do me a favour and find a home for the unused Pipboy images, or if they are unneeded/duplicates could you delete them. Special:UnusedFiles User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 23:01, March 15, 2011 (UTC)

Lol, cant believe I made such a simply mistake. But yeah, the reason I asked you is because I have no idea where the images came from. For example you say some came from the manuel, they could go here as gallery images in Fallout 2 manual along with your idea of a gallery in the Vault boy page. But with the rest, I have no idea because I do not know the source of the images or what they are supposed to be for. If they are all official images, then I see no issue with having them all in the Vault boy page. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 23:24, March 15, 2011 (UTC)
62 unused from the demo? User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 23:35, March 15, 2011 (UTC)
Ahhh, now I get it. Well I have added those images to the Fallout demo page for now. As for the rest, I think the best idea would be a gallery style page simliar Poster, showing all the cut content Vault boy images. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 23:55, March 15, 2011 (UTC)
Sounds good to me. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 01:26, March 16, 2011 (UTC)

Very nice indeed, I have done a little editing to reduce the amount added to the table of contents at the top of the page, also put it in columns to help format it better to the page. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 20:21, March 16, 2011 (UTC)

Unused images[edit source]

Myself and Avatar have done a lot, and with your help finding a home for the remaining older Fallout images we have made a nice job of clearing it. Probably for the first time since The Vault was founded. The bureaucrats will be pleased;) Hope to see you soon too, Itachou! Jspoelstra 02:03, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

Vault Boy images[edit source]

Are you sure you want to do this? I already noticed those images in 2010 and wanted to leave them alone because the the perk images have such a nice authentic, somewhat withered look that corresponds well with the age of the Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics games. I would like Ausir's opinion on this one before we all replace them. Greets, Jspoelstra 16:00, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

  • I'll leave it up to you then with those perk images. Thanks for updating me on the history with Ausir/Avatar. I'll sleep better on it now ;) à bientôt, mon ami.
Yeah I have tried in the past to do those images, unfortunately it always ends with a poor result due manly to the original image being of low res and poor quality to begin with. The only way I can see for it to be done is to redo the images from scratch pixel by pixel, something which is out of my league. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 16:57, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Vandal[edit source]

I was told to report vandals to any admin who is active at the moment, so here we are. This vandal vandalized Shotgun by inserting "gibberish" as admins call it into the article. Best regards, Kastera talk 18:03, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

I've got another one. This one actually went far enough to verbally attack me over something (I'm pretty sure) I didn't do. Regarding the Automatic rifle, I was just doing what admins had told me to do and take out anything in the article that made reference to the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR). This this user blows up on me. I feel that this behavior is unacceptable and the user should be banned so he can cool off. Thanks! Best regards, Kastera talk 23:28, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Pipboy images[edit source]

Got you =P I know they are vault boy, but after last time I had to do it. But since you are going through all of them, could you please add the "|desc =" parameter to describe which game the main image comes from. Its nice to see it for the image add via extra, but most readers like me only know FO3 and FNV, so we have no idea which game the image relates to. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 16:28, March 21, 2011 (UTC)

I got no issues with having the first appearance image as the main image in the infobox, I just find it confusing to know what the image represents without a description. But I do agree about adding in the description for all appearances of the image is a bit to much, maybe just a description saying where the image first appeared, see Educated for a example solution. Oh and by the way, you can use "desc" and "px" together. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 17:24, March 21, 2011 (UTC)
I think it is fine as long as the text doesn't go more than 1 line, and worded as it is, there can be no confusion of the origin of the image and also it representation. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 17:29, March 21, 2011 (UTC)
Agreed. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 17:48, March 21, 2011 (UTC)

Howdy there, I hope you don't mind, but i undid you're revision, as i find it unfit, and I would like to keep it there until old world blues is released, but as on the speculation, no. it just isn't, Jason Bergmann did give a hint on the location, about being a "area" and having "numbers", so please keep my changes, thank you. Ol' Slim and R.A.T.S.[edit source]

Hello, my friend. Some time ago I've read on your talkpage that you possess a valuable artifact - Fallout Official Survival Guide. Even if it's not possible to scan pages maybe you can add some info about Ol' Slim and some thing called R.A.T.S. I've noticed both on a photo of a back cover of the book. I've managed to read part of the text (about Slim) and created an article (even added an image of very poor quality), but the part about R.A.T.S. was totally unreadable. veryblackravenTalk 22:15, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks a lot! :) veryblackravenTalk 13:51, April 13, 2011 (UTC)
Well, now when I know what R.A.T.S. is I also have some doubts about proper category. So I've created Category:Fallout Official Survival Guide. Hope this decision wasn't too bad. :) veryblackravenTalk 14:26, April 13, 2011 (UTC)

Ghost of She[edit source]

LOL oh, I am so sorry! I saw the picture there and assumed you'd just left it. I hate it when people do that to me, I am very sorry. --User:Cartman!User talk:Cartman! 22:15, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

I feel quite bad now, but the image thing has been bugged for me for a while now and never tells me the correct time since upload etc. Again I apologise. --User:Cartman!User talk:Cartman! 22:19, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

It's no problem, you speak good English by the way I wouldn't have known. And don't worry I will :) --User:Cartman!User talk:Cartman! 22:30, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

There is actually a funny story behind that, my name actually isn't a South Park reference :P --User:Cartman!User talk:Cartman! 22:40, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

Well it is a real nickname in fact. It's all explained in the notes section on my user page :) --User:Cartman!User talk:Cartman! 02:05, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

Happy Trails image[edit source]

Hi, I saw you replaced the image on the Happy Trails Caravan Company page with one apparently ripped directly from the game files. I don't suppose I could ask you to do the same for the other images from the Honest Hearts beginning and ending slideshows? New Canaan and Joshua Graham both use images capped from a YouTube video, and if you could dump all the slides from the opening and ending somewhere on the wiki, it'd be much appreciated and I'm sure we could find a use for most of them. I'd find a way to do it myself but I don't own the PC version of the game. Thanks! --Lugiatm (talk · contribs) 17:48, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

Those rips from the game files look a lot better, thanks! As for uploading more, if possible I'd like to see all of the ones from the intro and ending eventually used on the wiki (for example, the one of Graham commanding his troops would look good on the First Battle of Hoover Dam page), but I have no idea how much effort ripping each one from the game files entails, so if it's too much of a chore then don't worry about it :) all of the tribes' pages could probably use a slide from the ending, because each tribe gets its own ending slide, but it's not fair of me to ask you to spoil the ending for yourself so that can wait. Thanks again. --Lugiatm (talk · contribs) 19:34, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

Graham[edit source]

Higher resolution eyes are an example of a mod that doesn't detract from the quality of the wiki. It's a minimal change. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 18:21, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

I invite you to join the discussion on the image to use on the page on Talk:Joshua Graham#Image. --Lugiatm (talk · contribs) 20:11, May 21, 2011 (UTC)
Not really. As I said, eye mods alter the image minimally. Now, if I posted an image of Graham in pink bandages and a My Little Pony tactical vest, that'd be detracting. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 18:42, May 22, 2011 (UTC)
Itachou, I like you, but refrain from making silly statements. Minimal image mods, such as Fellout or HD eyes alter the image minimally and can be posted on the Vault. Want proof? Fellout location imags are a plenty. Besides, using your logic, we can't really permit screenshots posted by users depicting locations they have already visited, because they have altered it and it no longer looks "as the developer intended". Developers aren't holy cows and their games aren't the gospel, otherwise, you state that Obsidian deliberately included shitty low resolution textures for character eyes and bodies, that they intended for characters to look crap. They didn't, stop insulting them. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 06:27, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

If you haven't yet noticed, you're talking nonsense. Obsidian simply didn't bother to create more life-like eye textures, instead opting to reuse Bethesda's corpse eyes (and having seen corpses, including attending a dissection, I can safely say that the default FNV textures are corpse-like), it wasn't their "intended" goal. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 21:21, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

As someone who completes his law degree today, I can say that you are misinterpreting the rule quite heavily. It simply means that the Vault does not have articles devoted to user created mods, such as killap's Fallout 2 restoration patch, nVamp, FOOK or similiar. It says nothing about small mods that affect images minimally. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 06:29, May 24, 2011 (UTC)
If I may interject, the issue isn't specifically with the Vault rules, I think, more the fact that Itachou has a problem with you uploading an image of Graham that is different to his in-game appearance, and then presenting it as fact when that is not the case. But if you want to get into the Vault's rules, the content policy states that fan art should be avoided - and that is precisely what your image of Graham constitutes, Tagaziel. --Lugiatm (talk · contribs) 16:09, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Fallout OST[edit source]

salut Itachou,

bien vu pour le "mirror image " de carpenter, j'ai écouté la bo l'autre jour et j'ai pas fait gaffe que le sample était dans un morceau...

a plus ! —Preceding unsigned comment was added by Matmax13 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

—Preceding unsigned comment was added by Matmax13 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Bobby[edit source]

Hi Itachou. It's nice to see you found some time again to edit on The Vault. I noticed you gave Bobby a post about removing the stimpak appearance from the Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel page. But Bobby hasn't made an edit yet today. Also in the past few days I couldn't find an edit by him on a BoS page. What edit are you refering to? JspoelJspoel Vault Boy.png 23:06, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

  • We can't hold this against him, Itachou. Probably he saw it red-linked and by some inexperience thought he could remove it.
  • I removed it due to the fact that it had no page, so it was unnecessary to include it on the page, not because I'm 'inexperienced'. Bobbyb373 07:27, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Wiki[edit source]

I've noticed that you're fluency in English is not the best, so I hope you don't mind me asking, but is this only wiki you edit or do you edit a French Fallout wikia as well? Kastera (talk) 02:49, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Fan art debacle[edit source]

Ugh. Policy is not the word of God, especially not when someone OBVIOUSLY has no clue as to what it actually means or what a "derivative work" is. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/0/08/Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 18:31, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Military hierarchy page[edit source]

I noticed you made a few edits on Caesar's Legion military hierarchy and I am sorry about the flubs I made. But I am curious, do you think that this page could use some improvement? I feel like the info might need some streamlining. Also, if you know anybody who could get pictures of the blacksmith and the instructor similar to the pictures of the other legion members on the page, do you think they could help?

If you are too busy, I understand. --Barsaxmus 20:31, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I think that the general description can be divided up into: policy, armament, organization, etc. I don't know, it is PRETTY big. But I'll be happy to help! Of course, if I make a dumb mistake, stop me. --Barsaxmus 20:49, May 24, 2011 (UTC)
Whew! All right, this page is a bit of a start. But I feel like there is still more work to be done. Oh, and thank you for the pictures! --Barsaxmus 23:13, May 24, 2011 (UTC)
I can't take all the credit. You really helped me get going and cleaned up a few of my flubs. Thank you! --Barsaxmus 13:53, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

Bar27262[edit source]

With some many members, there are bound to be some strange individuals between them, Itachou. This is appearantly one of them. As you can see, they'll draw attention to them soon enough and won't get too many chances if they misbehave. Bonsoir :) JspoelJspoel Vault Boy.png 21:30, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

I'm confused[edit source]

Aren't badges (with the exception of admin specific badges) for general users to spruce up or customize their pages as they like on wikis? I know what the problem with the admin one was but what's the fuss about the others? Great Mara 21:21, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

I see. I didn't know you could change the text on the badges here. Great Mara 21:39, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Editing dispute[edit source]

Hello my friend, I'm currently in a little edit dispute and I would like your opinion as an administrator. User:Trolly Polly continues to revert the addition to the Survivalist's Rifle page despite it explaining the American occupation of Canada and the reason behind the French word on the rifle. Trolly also previously deleted valid information from the page including inscriptions that are actually present on the gun. --User:Cartman!User talk:Cartman! 15:10, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

It's true! (Gasp). Hugs Scar: "Say 'ello to my little friend!" 15:13, May 25, 2011 (UTC)
