The utility tunnels are a location in Fallout 3. They are located under the Fairfax ruins, populated by raiders.
Layout
There are three entrances to the tunnels. The first is beneath a trap door near the Fairfax Ruins map marker. The second is a manhole cover a bit to the northwest. The third is another manhole cover a short distance west of the other manhole.
If entering via the trap door, the first room contains several ammo boxes and a mine box. There is a switch here that opens a hatch on the floor, leading to a small raider hideout.
Notes
The Fort Independence field report #2 (located in Fort Independence) refers to the weapons cache in these tunnels.
Appearances
The utility tunnels appear only in Fallout 3.
