Vertibird pilot is a "cut" non-player character still present in the game's files of Fallout: New Vegas.


The Vertibird pilot is the ill-fated pilot of the crashed Vertibird in 2281.

Vertibird pilot was added during the development stages of Fallout: New Vegas, but was cut from the final retail release of the game.

Behind the scenes

The Red Sector Key Card is a reference to the crashed Vertibird in Fallout 2, where you found a dead Enclave soldier holding a useless yellow keycard.
