Legion veteran armor and the veteran helmet are a Legion armor set found in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Legion veteran armor has a Damage Threshold of 10 and can be repaired with any Legion armor. The helmet provides a DT of 3 with no additional bonuses to player's stats, and can be repaired with other veteran helmets, as well as all headgear with the Jury Rigging perk.

Compared to Legion prime armor, veteran armor has additional armor pads on the lower legs, as well as several sharp nails sticking out of the shoulder pads as well as the leather wrappings on the right arm. Additionally, the helmet is a hard plastic football helmet, instead of a simple leather cap.

The veteran helmet is comprised of several different pieces adjoined together. They are a baseball cap with an aluminum helmet, goggles for the eyes and a face wrap.

Locations[edit | edit source]

  • The armor can be found on most Legionary veterans in camps scattered the wasteland.
  • It can most often be found in footlockers in The Fort.
  • The helmet can be found on Veteran Legionaries at The Fort along with veteran legion armor.
