Hi!

Hi. Sorry to ask a stupid question but what is a Netflix? I'm British and in my head the word sounds dirty. It's probably not considering other things you put on your user page and I know this question sounds ridiculous but I am now intrigued as to what it is.

You have never heard of Netflix? It is an American movie and T.V. show service that can be streamed live through a PC, T.V., PS3, X-box 360, Wii, and certain mobile devices. You can also order movies and T.V. shows to be sent in the mail to your house. It's really cool and only $10 per month! I'm surprised you have never heard of it. It's kind of like Hulu, but better.

Ohhhh. We have a very similar thing in the UK called Love Film where you can order games and movies and cd's for monthly fees and stream it through many appliances. thanks for answering my ridiculous question.

I appreciate your kind words

Thanks for the show of support, but I fear I am quite a long ways away from meeting the requirements of even moderator, much less admin. I will probably never gain that many edits since I don't really have any desire to go through pages and make grammar edits and I'm not the best guy as far as lore goes. I'm a guns guy, the chief gun nut on the BSW forums, and I'm really mostly concerned about getting the data on the weapons pages as thorough as they can be. And they're pretty good as they are, I've done most of the edits I felt were necessary. Having lived most of my adult life in a leadership position, though, I just can't keep my mouth shut when I see something cleary needs to be addressed, so I might pipe up every now and then when I feel it's important enough. Again, thanks for your kind words.--The Gunny 23:15, December 9, 2011 (UTC)

Blog comment

Even though an anonymous user uses "gay" derogatory, you shouldn't stoop to that level. The anon is now banned, and I removed the comment. Please don't leave any comments like that in the future, K? Hugs MadeMan2 "Say 'ello to my little friend!"

Hey, no problem, man! It just infuriated me to see someone disrespecting a soldier in that fashion. It will not happen again. --Lord Herilius 23:35, December 9, 2011 (UTC)

Great, just informing here. I'd rather see that you reported such posts to administrators in the future. Hugs MadeMan2 "Say 'ello to my little friend!"
I just edited a comment of yours, where you'd used gay derogatory (Intergay). You've been banned for a week (your earlier offence was a tad harsh, so I decided not to go for two weeks) for this comment. Please take heed when warned. Always equally disappointing when a person I reminded earlier the same day goes about repeating the same mistakes. Hugs MadeMan2 "Say 'ello to my little friend!"
Geez, I didn't actually use the word in a way that should be considered offensive or derogatory. Interplay sucks now, that's all there is to it. I apologize for my harsh words, but what happened to freedom of speech and the like? Last time I checked, I still lived in America. Hmm, guess that doesn't apply to the Internet. If you please unblock me, I promise to check my words before I submit. --Lord Herilius 23:57, December 10, 2011 (UTC)
"Interplay sucks now"
That's why you changed it to "Intergay". This turns gay into a derogatory term. You used the word "gay", with the meaning of either happy or homosexual, to describe something as poor or bad and berate it. It would be like using Islam as an insult, or Christian as a description of something bad. It's offensive towards a group of people. I already warned you not to use said word derogatory once, why do it again? It makes no actual sense. MadeMan2 "Say 'ello to my little friend!"
No, you are completely correct. I just didn't think the same principles applied, as it was used in a completely different fashion, or so I thought. But hey, when you're wrong you're wrong. I apologize for using that term and I will not do it again. So, will you give me the benefit of the doubt just this one time and reverse your decision, please? --Lord Herilius 00:07, December 11, 2011 (UTC)

350,000th Edit

Well people, it looks like I am the lucky recipient of the 350,000th Edit badge, because I am the one that made it. Hurray for me! --Hedimius Herilius 07:15, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Blog comment... again...

If you think otherwise, you have either smoked a lot of crack or have a brain tumor. Either way, you're still a retard.— Hedimius Herilius

You never learn, it seems. Seeing as this is your third ban, it'll be for two weeks. When you get back I hope you've learned enough not to insult other users like this. MadeMan2 "Say 'ello to my little friend!"

Whatever, Scarface. It is apparent that you just have it out for me. So, when my ban is up, I am reporting your deliberate abuse of power to the higher-ups. THEN we'll see who learns what. I really don't give a damn that you banned me. It just pisses me off that you are going around singling people out, and this is proof. I hope you enjoy abusing your power, because I WILL do something about it. Just wait and see. --Hedimius Herilius 13:33, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
I saw your blog comment in the recent activity feed, recognised it for what it was - blatant insulting - and took the appropriate course of action. In your case, since you have been told innumerable times, it was to ban. It's not my fault that you have problems with following the site rules.
What is even sillier is that you get banned you, instead of taking it like a responsible user, fall back into petty feuding and decide to threaten me. T'is like reporting a police officer when you're resisting arrest. The ban is up in two weeks time, as my earlier message clearly indicated. Happy holidays, MadeMan2 "Say 'ello to my little friend!"
When calling someone retard will only get you in trouble. Scarface11235 is right, you shouldn't insult others or you'll get more banning, either from chat and the wiki. You should learn from your actions. This is just an advice from one contributor to other. MysteryStranger: Trust in the power of Infinity! 13:41, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your friendly advice, MysteryStranger. But it seems as though Scarface has it out for me. Ever since me and him had a little bit of a serious disagreement a few weeks back, he has been riding my ass and banning me for stupid shit. I bet if you had said it, he wouldn't have banned you, or anyone else for that matter. He has even stated that he doesn't feel as though he is in a position of power or should be viewed as a leader on this site. That's one MAJOR issue I have with him. He doesn't think he is a leader but will ban me for pretty offenses. That is indicative of an individual on a power trip. --Hedimius Herilius 13:49, December 24, 2011 (UTC)

Abuse of power by moderators

It has become apparent that certain moderators on this wiki have problems keeping their power trips in check. I will not single anybody, as they should know who they are. I do admit that I can be a bit reckless and insulting with what I write sometimes, but that is no reason to single me out, as one individual has taken to. What I have planned is simple: I am going to foul up as much as possible and keep my eye out for this moderator to see if they are going to take my bait. If they do, I am going to do everything in my power to get their privileges revoked, if it doesn't happen already after my current ban is up. --Hedimius Herilius 13:43, December 24, 2011 (UTC)

You're going to deliberately break rules in order to get banned, and then that would be "singling you out". This is kinda cute, you thinking that you're the only one on this wiki who gets themselves banned. If you break rules, you get banned; really simple, this. To think that you're the only one who get banned by my is fairly childish, and is not bettering your situation. MadeMan2 "Say 'ello to my little friend!"
  • "I got banned. THEY'RE ABUSING THEIR POWER AND BEING MEAN TO ONLY ME." You're reporting someone for doing their job. If you bothered to read the rules page then you would've seen that you had broken a rule and thus, you will get banned. Scar isn't singling you out just because he was the one who banned you. Thats like saying anyone who gets banned is being singled out by the moderator/admin who bans them. You're argument fails. DragonBorn96 --The Pony Overlords are watching 13:50, December 24, 2011 (UTC)

So wait, it's corrupt now for admins to ban people who:
A) Break the rules.
B) Only do so to test the admins.
I'd tell you to think before you post but I dont want you to hurt yourself.
What makes you think you should get away with "fouling up" then? What makes you so special. Grow the hell up dude.
JASPER//"Do you like hurting other people?"UserRichard 13:55, December 24, 2011 (UTC)

I have had it with people on this site that think they can jump into a conversation and think they know the whole story. The fact of the matter is this: myself and Scarface had a serious disagreement a few weeks back. I said something I shouldn't have in a subsequent blog and got banned for it by Scarface. No big deal. Then comes the latest ban where I called someone a retard. Scarface bans me for TWO weeks for that offense. Scarface himself has stated, in a thread between us and another user, that he doesn't feel as though he's in a position of power and doesn't wish to be viewed as such. I could've written the same insults in the past that has gotten me banned these two times and nobody would've blinked. Scarface obviously has it out for me because he's pissed off about my opinion and the way I stated it. Even more obvious is the fact that he is checking up on me 24/7 to see if I slip up, which when it comes right down to it, boils down to a case of a moderator singling out a user for their infractions. So, next time someone like you, JASPER42, wants to come on MY talk page and tell ME to grow up, why don't you get the whole story first and grow up yourself. --Hedimius Herilius 14:12, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
  • You do realise that you got banned for two weeks because it was another offence? The more offences you commit. The longer a ban is. Thats how it works. You are clearly paranoid when you say he has it out for you. He bans lots of people, what makes you any different? The moderators aren't the bad guys here. You are for not taking a ban in stride and instead kicking up a fuss. You're digging your grave deeper and deeper. DragonBorn96 --The Pony Overlords are watching 14:19, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
