Oh, thank God! Someone new!

Willy is a water beggar outside of Tenpenny Tower in Fallout 3.

Background[edit | edit source]

Driven half-mad by lack of sustenance, and half-blind with hatred over his treatment by the snooty inhabitants of Tenpenny Tower, Willy still remains close to the structure, in the vain hope that a water caravan or kindly stranger will cross his path.[1]

Interactions with the player character[edit | edit source]

Interactions overview[edit | edit source]

This character is involved in quests.

Quests[edit | edit source]

  • Water Beggars: Granting Willy's request for water yields good karma.

Effects of player actions[edit | edit source]

If the Lone Wanderer tells him to get his own water he will be dead when the Lone Wanderer comes back.

Other interactions[edit | edit source]

He will not accept dirty water, as he can't handle irradiated water any longer. If the Lone Wanderer gives him aqua pura he will die.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Very close to him is an unmarked location called Willy's Grocer. Before Willy became a water beggar, he may have owned this small grocer, but it seems to have been overrun by radroaches and raiders.
  • It is possible to make Willy live in Tenpenny Tower. Shoot him and he will run away. If the Lone Wanderer can direct him towards the gate of Tenpenny Tower he will run inside. Close the gate and wait 3–4 days and he won't run from the Lone Wanderer. If the ghouls have taken over the tower they might kill him if the Lone Wanderer haven't reverse-pickpocketed him something good!
