Public Announcement

The Nuka-Cola bottling plant is a location in Nuka-World in 2287.

Background[]

This industrial facility was converted by the Nuka-Cola Corporation to serve as a park attraction in addition to its normal duties. The standard bottling facilities were augmented with a guided river tour, featured in park advertisements.[1][2]. Before Nuka-Cola Quantum was released, the water was tinted a blue color to simulate the look of the beverage, but now contains the drink itself.[3][4]

After the Great War, with no humans to prevent the invasion of local wildlife, the plant became a nest for the local mirelurk population. Over time, the River of Quantum and its strontium additives mutated these mirelurks further, and over the generations, they grew faster, tougher, and deadlier than their regular counterparts.

Layout[]

The main entrance to the World of Refreshment facility is in the southern section of the area near the Quantum river and visitor queue. Several fever blossoms are found here and in the bus station nearby to the west. The roof of the building and the pond to the north are infested by Nukalurks, including the Nukalurk queen in the pond.

There are three other entrances to the World of Refreshment in addition to the main entrance: a drainage pipe connected to the large pond to the north, a loading dock door east of the pond (initially terminal-locked from the inside), and a door above and to the right of the loading dock.

Notable loot[]

  • World of Refreshment medallion - On the south side of the area, near the queue lanes at the main entrance of the World of Refreshment facility.
  • Nuka-Cola Quantum - On the eastern part of the roof, held by a skeleton in the small cabin with a Nuka-Cola machine.
  • Fusion core - On the eastern part of the roof, on a set of shelves under a tool case in the small cabin next to the crane that accesses the faction flagpole.
  • They hit Boston and Casey's password - On the western part of the roof, on a cabinet in the cabin with two weapons workbenches. The password unlocks the Expert-locked systems control terminal in the World of Refreshment.
  • Two wedding rings - On the far western part of the roof, on the hands of two skeletons behind a blue water storage dome.
  • Clark's stash - Under a bridge just west of the facility in a footlocker, as referred to in For Deke. Opened by Clark's stash key.

The entire area, including the World of Refreshment and the secure beverageer lab, contains a total of:
