Zander was a prisoner in Eastern Regional Penitentiary's D-Block before the Great War.

Zander and Porter had a conversation about the prisoner collars that the inmates had recently been fitted with under Warden Brennan's orders. Zander was reluctant to try and get the collars off, saying that they would keep it around their neck for the rest of their sentence.[1]
