The 82nd Airborne division used marksman carbines at the time of the Great War, as the All-American is a heavily-modified carbine that contains the division's insignia on the side of its magazine well.[1]

Behind the scenes
The 82nd Airborne Division is a real world division of the same name. Joshua Sawyer noted that the reason for the 82nd patch on the All-American is due to the division's nickname being the same as the rifle's.[2]
