Wiki Map

Hi, Im cyberlazy from the nexus.. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/users/2955438 Im working on a program that basically will allow me and other users to 'paint' objects on terrain by painting a map then running that map through the program and using a script to place objects at the right height at the densities painted and produce an ESP.

I have exported the full heightmap from FONV but I have a small problem, its near impossible to tell what is where to know where you should be painting. (ie, you don't want to paint trees or monsters in the middle of a town)

So I was wondering if I could get permission to include the wiki's map in my programs distribution, overlayed and resized to fit the heightmap export?

(Currently the heightmap includes the full gamespace and is about 80% larger then the wikis map, but I will likey allow the program to read 'partial' maps since few people are interested in area outside gamespace)

This would not be used as data for my mod, it would be used as a guide for myself and other people to draw overlays on top, then remove the map before feeding it to my program.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_map is the map in question. I would refer people to the wiki for location index lookup. Its just I need to be able to scale it to 32 pixels per cell and add/subtract padding to get it to an exact cell count.

Hey man, what's up.
I was watching a show on Australian television, it's called Hamish and Andy's Euro Gap Year. It's basically these two famous Aussie comedians, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee, travelling Europe doing... well, stupid stuff. Kind of like a comedy travel show. Anyway, they were in Sweden this episode, and Hamish made Andy eat this thing called Surströmming. It was like rotten fish or something, which Andy puked up minutes after eating it.

Yo, Albertron.
I'm assuming you know about Agent C's competition thingy. If not, I'll give you a rundown.
Basically you have to design a certain storyline aspect (character/location/dungeon etc.) that could fit into a Fallout game. The guidelines are given at the start of each round (eg. you need to create a dungeon that could fit into Fallout 2) and then you just write up a blog about your dungeon. It can be either a pretend article, a story, or just a bunch of ideas.
Anyway, Chad had a bunch of contestants lined up, but one of them dropped out and the other hasn't responded in a while. He was looking for at least one person to fill in the spot. Perhaps you were interested in joining? Take a look at my submission as an example.
There's only one catch though. This is sort of short notice, because Chad originally planned for the first round (which is designing a Fallout 2 dungeon) to have finished tonight. So he's just waiting another day or two for Nic and Frankie to submit theirs. If you wanted to join, you'd have to think of an idea and post it up quick.
If you're interested, just let Agent C know on his talk page. If you're not interested, then... well, don't worry about it ;)

I personally don't think this Anon needs another chance. Just look through his ban-log to see exactly what I mean. I'm also personally considering the option of a perma-ban for this particular anonymous user. (Insulting other users, trolling, vandalizing our sister wikis.) And yes, I know we supposedly can't perma-ban any anonymous accounts. But this anon keeps coming back, even after bans that are a month long, and it doesn't seem like he's ever going to let up on his attitude. (Not to mention that he never actually makes any productive edits here.) But in all fairness, every time we ban someone's account here, we're technically banning their IP as well. Not sure what you mean. The page encompasses pure human, which accounts for the human category; the rest of the links (beastlords, mutants, dwarfs etc.) is categorized as (former human turned) creatures, which accounts for all the creature categories. Stats

It is hard to know that. But it is possible that some of the guys of Russian Wiki might know such things. Besides that, I am not sure. That might be your best bet to look at. Energy X 12:41, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

You can get the stats using the entity editor. Comes with the Tactics 1.27 version patch (No Mutants Allowed). And you also need WinRAR to unpack the entities_0 in the /Fallout Tactics/Core map. Once unpacked you can browse and edit the .ent files with the editor. Adding these stats is something that's been neglected for a long time. Luvere is also doing some work on it now. Nice work on the creature pages, I've been hoping someone would pick that up. You can split the wolf page as long as you have some decent content for both pages (FO2 and FOT), with stats, chars etc. You can put the VB wolf on the overview page with a VB tag. Caravan merchant page

You can merge the contents from Caravan merchant (Core Region) to Fallout merchants and use the old page as a redirect. Most of the (old) Core Region page should go on the Fallout merchant page as it is an important page and needs to contain good general information, maybe some you can move to the separate faction pages. You can use the faction template like on the Core Region page, for the rest be creative to make the overview. Looks the best solution to me. Jspoel 14:06, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

Hei! Due to a recent topic I brought up in which I hope to start setting a precedent soon, I'm going ahead and asking those with special rights that have become fairly or entirely inactive throughout the past year if they plan on either stepping down, or becoming active again sometime in the near future In your case, I have noticed your occasional activity in the chat-room, and so I was wondering if you'd be more comfortable in a Chat Moderator position until the time comes that you feel comfortable again with Administrative duties.

I do want to make one thing clear: I appreciate everything that you've done for us, and I'm not trying to depreciate your work by asking for your intentions. It is my hope that you won't take offense at my request; a few of us are simply looking at the growing number of inactive Special Rights holders, and we are looking to bring that number down some so we have a clearer picture of what our wiki needs in expertise, as well as keeping our Special Rights list as concise as possible for editors looking for help from their Administration.
