- So almost every other faction page gets to bear a flag image of some sort, despite having much more 'suitable' emblems akin to them... and the Enclave page is the one exception. Smells bad to me, especially since that FO2 image clearly orchestrates further symbolism... obvious symbolism.

Capitol building and Nuka Cola Plant

I talked to a Coworker of mine, who is a trumpet player, who he thought was a better trumpet player between Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong. I did not say anything more or less. 2nd person
I hear what you wrote, and Godz help me please, I do NOT want to get into another conflict after the night I have had. Still I beg your patience to consider this, please ?
- Standardization throughout the page for articles is the best policy as it makes the page read as a clearly unified presentation of that page.
The discussion page and or blogs relating to the articles of course should be more relaxed to relate personal gamers experiences to make a point, but the end result articles should flow as a unit. Published Bugs & Notes should be formatted to suit the page.
Notes, Bugs and Interactions with the player character sections would all be best displayed under the same logical guideline that it is the player character or proper given title for the game's protagonist that dose things IN GAME.
I, you and or the player can only play the game, reset the game or load DLC ect. You can not be killed and no faction will turn hostile to the player because we do not exist in the game.
Fan fiction & blogs are pure story line and so we can put ourselves in the first person there but in game actions are performed by in game entities.
I hope you will take some time, consider what I wrote here and perhaps present it to our community along with your veiws of this logic. So we may all discuss it for the betterment of Nukapedia.

I have read those same guidlines.
- I was hoping you might take my points more to heart and even be the voice of this cause. A page that reads top to bottom with the only exceptions of "literal quotes" or stated word for word references should be in 2nd person as the player characters action really has no efffect on the player other than entertainment.
- The player dose not do anything in game. The Player character is in game.
You, me and I are designations for the player aka game user. We control what the player character dose. The Player character is our game avatar and unless there is a referance like a direct quotation the most proper description of actions and environments relating to the player's avatar is 2nd person.
Notes and walkthroughs should be as unified to the rest of the page as much possible.
Over 90% of most all our Nukapedia game play articles are 2nd person veiws of what the player character might do. Breaking between 1st and 2nd person adds confusion and or at best is a distaction from the article's point due to the disruption of continuity.
The guidline should be changed to reflect this fact and I would support you if you brought this forward for the site to consider as a change that would make all articles a better read. That is our ultimate goal.

I'm experimenting. Check Agent c and my talkpage where we correspond about how the wiki looks on a mobile. When there are two project tags it takes up the whole screen which makes up for a first bad impression. I want to see how it looks if we move those tags to the talkpage (Gunny suggests this) and leave a 1 general tag on the article page, refering to the projects on the talkpage. I'm also considering just leaving categories, without tags. I believe the tags have little effect, and with the few people working on it, the category will be enough for reference... Sierra Madre chips strategy
Hi Richie. I noticed you trimmed a paragraph from my update on Sierra Madre chips, noting 'strategy'. I can understand if there is a policy against giving strategic gameplay advice in the general info pages. I'm not clear though why the cut paragraph (that chips have an effective cap value of 3 via stimpaks after Dead Money) is strategic, but not the preceding paragraph (that chips have an effective cap value of 10 via pre-war money during Dead Money). It seems that either both should remain, or both be cut as getting too much into strategy. Is there a criterion to tell the difference between these two? Thanks!

Why do you keep reverting the edits i'm putting on the Veronica and Christine pages?!? That is necessary information, it is very unlikely that it is speculation, as much of the information on Christine and Veronica said they were likely lovers when Dead Money was released.

Elijah was the one who split up Veronica's relationship (read her page), and Christine's personal motive for wanting to kill Elijah was because she was separated from HER lover. It isn't a coincidence. Veronica and Christine were both referring to each other. About The Capitol Glitch
I went up the staircase, walked along the small ledge, and when I came to the rock/concrete chunk blocking it I managed to jump around it. I wasn't planning anything, it happened by pure luck. After following the ledge for a bit, I came another area that looked like it should have a staircase going up to it but it didn't. I jumped on the rubble from there, and left the wasteland into purgatory. I spoke with Jasper on the chat, and Fireburn as well. Hannibal Hamlin
Hey Richie. I think that the note Peace N' Hugs added on Hamlin's page is valid. The AI causes him to override what was specifically stated in his dialogue. Incidentally, he will equip the repeater as well, but as I recall he states outright that it is his intention to use it, so it's not notable. Because his actions are the opposite of his dialogue, I think it's a noteworthy inclusion. What do you think?

Not sure if you noticed, but the man behind the curtain on those socks was Swaggers. I blocked him for 3 days, and with Leon, perma'd all his socks. Chat conduct guideline changes
Hey Richie. In light of Saint Pain's chat ban and after some discussion with Leon and J I've decided to do some minor re-writes to the chat conduct guideline page. Basically what I'm looking to do is:
- Remove the current ban guidelines and give more leeway for mods to ban people on a case-by-case basis
- Add a provision for perma-banned users to appeal their ban immediately to a bureaucrat
There's a few other re-wordings and some stuff moved around, but those are the big things I think need need changing. You can find a draft here. Understand that adding the bureaucrat review is not to challenge your or any other mods authority, but simply makes the review neutral as opposed to a popularity contest (which in the case of a community vote it definitely can be). I included an original copy of the guideline so you can see the changes. Please let me know what you think and if this is something you support. sectatorapocalypsi 07:13, November 8, 2013 (UTC)

On page 2 of the preview, the "vault dweller" in the picture gets shown as having the exact same lines as Jonas, which kinda proves it. Even if not, it's obviously a character before Jonas, so that should be noted.

Re:WWI
I disagree. We don't have, and I don't believe we've ever had, a WWI page. Also, I didn't know it was mentioned in the FOT intro, but like the brief Hitler mention in the WWII, it doesn't necessarily constitute notability. Furthermore, setting the stage for WWII also doesn't make it significant enough, considering it was only one of many causes and an event that leads to another event that is notable in the Fallout universe does not make that event notable. I wouldn't exactly die if we were to add that little note back in, but looking at the bigger picture, it's important to establish precedent for notability, especially in consideration of future titles... --Skire (talk) 03:33, December 18, 2013 (UTC)
- Leading to WWII does not make WWI notable because WWI was not essential for WWII to occur, or at the very least nothing suggests that it was absolutely essential. Moreover, this argument could be applied to all other Fallout historical events with a major cause being another event, such as the election of Lincoln and the Kansas-Nebraska Act being causes of the Civil War (which is notable). However, purely on the grounds of that FOT mention we could add it back into the timeline, providing that a reference to the weapon would be added in. --Skire (talk) 14:49, December 18, 2013 (UTC)

Light Machine Gun
I reverted your edit on the light machine gun. It's not a location page for which we have a notable loot policy. It's item page. It's ok to add a few general places where you have a good chance to find it. Jspoel 22:12, February 25, 2014 (UTC)
- I've come to a compromise. Removed a few locations (duffle bags) and rewrote/left a few. Marauders, super mutants masters and nightkin can be mentioned. Marauders are the only marked men that can have them, and the few masters and nightkin are also notable I think. You'll see it most item pages, that they have more locations mentioned than just the fixed ones. It's looking for a compromise I think, where you look for notability. Also, I'm not that pleased to see deep red links. We need to focus on adding and improving content, not removing it. Jspoel 23:45, February 27, 2014 (UTC)

1. No it doesnt dictate a warning or kick. Thats a guideline.
2. I believe Slingers had some problems with his computer that meant he could only do it in that way. When he is online momentarily, I'm sure he'll be willing to discuss it futher.
