Charlotte or Char was the wife of Randall Clark prior to the Great War.
Background[]
Before the war, her family lived in the northeastern part of Salt Lake City. Charlotte always told Randall that he belonged with his family, and to stop running off into the wild. Despite knowing this, he only said it out loud when walking in the wilderness. She died when the nuclear weapons struck their city. Randall started to write a journal. Its format, as if to her, helped him cope. On April 10, 2084, he left Zion and went back to Salt Lake City to find her remains, arriving on April 25 to crater-filled scorched earth.[1]
