When following [[Ronald Curtis|Curtis]] and reporting your progress to the Colonel, Curtis waits for you in the control tower and you must kill him. Prior to the patch the Courier would enter the train and had time to deactivate the bomb, but the train blows up regardless.

* Companions will not zone into the northern-most section of The Strip (from south Freeside). Looking at the map, their markers appear to be still in Freeside. However, once the player zones out of the northern-most part of The Strip (for example, into the Lucky 38 or into the middle section of The Strip), the companions will re-appear at the Courier's side.
 
* [[Craig Boone|Boone]] has been reported to not function in combat, holstering his weapon approximately every five seconds. Additionally, Boone's head tracking does not work. These two issues are caused by code placed in his dialogue script which causes him to needlessly re-evaluate his current AI package every five seconds.

Paladin, I see you're giving it a go with the FNV dialogue files. This way it's monk's work and will take years. TV is using a dialogue organizer program which automates the whole transfer, with the pipe symbols. Or it may be that they use Excel which transfers the export dialogue file into columns and then use a macro (which can repeat an automated process to infinity) to reorganize the lines and add the pipe symbol (and - for a line break) to all lines. That's why you're seeing Ant doing it so fast. They won't tell us how they do it, so we will have to invent that wheel again for ourselves. I'll see if somehow I can get a macro working in Excel. It's not that hard, you can find the dialogue of each character in their GECK stats, select it, sort it a bit in Excel or OpenOffice and almost plain copy it to a wiki page. I would mainly construe that the two of them are unique mutations, in that both of them maintain cognitive thought patterns. Such as Fawkes ability to read and learn, and having a want to continue this learning. Setting him strides apart from the rest of the Vault 87 mutants. And though true that 87's humans would have been pure humans, it seems their version of the FEV wasn't up to the same snuff that the Mariposa base had in it's labs. Just given all of their deformities and low intelligence. So I only listed Fawkes as such because of his learning ability, and reasoning patterns, that imho set him aside from the rest. Uncle Leo I would only assume is unique in that he's a pacifist. Much different than the nature of the rest of his kin. Though I will concede that Leo is not likely an original Vault 87 dweller, like Fawkes. Otherwise in this aspect, Marcus isn't very unique himself, given that the only thing that sets him aside, is a reasoning and morality.

No it's not possible. I've had to deconstruct the script that spawned him a while back for Jspoel so that he could force the encounter to get the NPC's refid. "I have been playing Fallout 3 across different platforms (while at friends places and at home) and have come across this NPC quite a few times and he has had a different appearance each time." Toolbox

I was going to link to that unique/rare toolbox, and it turns out from I've seen that we do not have that toolbox detailed anywhere on Nukapedia. You said to me that you were going to sleep, so I hope you don't mind that I went ahead and asked 69 to find that information and add it to the wiki. Thank you for bringing to my attention which toolbox that was. Makes me wonder if there are others we are missing here. I seem to recall there were some greasy toolboxes in OWB... Dialogue files

Paladin, I see you're giving it a go with the FNV dialogue files. This way it's monk's work and will take years. TV is using a dialogue organizer program which automates the whole transfer, with the pipe symbols. Or it may be that they use Excel which transfers the export dialogue file into columns and then use a macro (which can repeat an automated process to infinity) to reorganize the lines and add the pipe symbol (and - for a line break) to all lines. That's why you're seeing Ant doing it so fast. They won't tell us how they do it, so we will have to invent that wheel again for ourselves. I'll see if somehow I can get a macro working in Excel. Dialogues

I have a proposition for you. Can you help out with extracting the Fallout: New Vegas dialogue files from the GECK? It's not that hard, you can find the dialogue of each character in their GECK stats, select it, sort it a bit in Excel or OpenOffice and almost plain copy it to a wiki page. Theodorico (has a Russian name now) uses his bot to convert it to a table like you see here. Looks great, doesn't it and we add it to the character's infobox and can use it for reference. I started out removing the unwanted NPCs but this morning found a message on Jspoelstra's talk from the bot operator that it wasn't necessary. That step adds quite a bit of time so I figured I could get them up faster by not doing it. --FFIX (talk) 15:21, February 3, 2014 (UTC)

( Choice if you want to remove unwanted NPCs (only leaving the unique one) is up to you. I'm done in about 30 seconds removing them. Once we get down to the 20 or so Users there will be generic NPCs like legionaries, NCR troopers, thugs etc. You can skip those for the time being. Only do the unique named NPCs. I can hardly believe it, but well a day in this mini-project were down to the 1 Users column with mainly generic characters left! Mostly thanks to FFIX we're close to 400 FNV dialogues now. I'm almost done with the add-ons as well. You can go to Fallout 3 now. But there's something different to sort on. Strangely enough I think it's RACE you need to sort on. Then you'll get a whole bunch of -- rows you can delete while you need to keep the lines that have the GetIsID == 1 coding in the RACE column. Those seem to be the unique lines. ( Ok, you can do that. I just checked it and it is tricky indeed. With the add-on, some lines are added but they are hard to find. For Three Dog you can them in the Radio tab (DLC03). While I hope you can maintain a sense of humor, I thought I could better express my concerns personally. It looks like you're getting admin rights, and while you've said you'll ban vandals, protect pages, delete images, and all that generic jazz, I ask that you take the opportunity to do something more. Perhaps you don't have specific goals because you don't know what having admin rights will bring, but no matter what, you need to do something that will set you apart from everyone else and have a reason for people to go to you with questions instead of any other administrator. Fawkes and Uncle Leo

I would mainly construe that the two of them are unique mutations, in that both of them maintain cognitive thought patterns. Such as Fawkes ability to read and learn, and having a want to continue this learning. Setting him strides apart from the rest of the Vault 87 mutants. And though true that 87's humans would have been pure humans, it seems their version of the FEV wasn't up to the same snuff that the Mariposa base had in it's labs. Just given all of their deformities and low intelligence. So I only listed Fawkes as such because of his learning ability, and reasoning patterns, that imho set him aside from the rest. Uncle Leo I would only assume is unique in that he's a pacifist. Much different than the nature of the rest of his kin. Though I will concede that Leo is not likely an original Vault 87 dweller, like Fawkes. Otherwise in this aspect, Marcus isn't very unique himself, given that the only thing that sets him aside, is a reasoning and morality. Deadling (talk) 19:09, February 17, 2014 (UTC)

Hello, if you want to work on the FO3 dialogues, we will want to work out how big of a chunk we each want to work on at a time. I just uploaded Dashwood so I can see if it goes OK, so the NPCs with a Users value of 200 and up are done. As I understand it, it's just a straight, raw paste job with the header and footer lines tacked on, so there isn't a whole lot to do with each file. Fast Shot

You have to extract the data files from the Fallout demo's FALLDEMO.DAT file, using something like F1UNDAT and then look for the ART/SKILLDEX folder. Question about chat

Hey Pally, sorry to bother you... But, I can't get into Nukapedia's chat D: So, I was wondering if it's working okay for you or anyone else. It's not a sever issue (from what I can tell) because I can access other chat rooms. I've tried three different browsers, just get the message that chat hacks have been enabled and that's it. Hell, I even made a second account and tried to access chat with it (don't worry, I marked it as mine), same thing :\ I'm running out of ideas... So, I'm there in spirit, if that means anything. It's possible, but this issue started after I fixed my enter key on my laptop... so, around 4:45 CST and that's when 12 people were still in chat. Might be a connection issue (and I hope it is). 14mm & .223 gunshot

I've never gotten my mind off of that very loud gunshot made, especially when one of Decker's fellows shoot with the former gun. I also found this video with different ways of harming the First Citizen, with the timeline at where the .223 pistol is fired...my promises are that these are not "troll mods" (mods where 0% effort is put into the work) and that your ears don't decieve you, they never tricked me.
