Behind the scenes

Dean Dewey was possibly named after Thomas E. Dewey, the Republican candidate for president against Franklin D. Roosevelt during the 1944 presidential election, or the Dewey Decimal System, a library classification system widely used in U.S. public libraries and school libraries for over 100 years.
