I have been searching for a straight answer on this, and it is nowhere to be found, if you are a hacker, then please tell me if the process is true, and if not, then what is the correct way?
Err, no. It most definately is not realistic... I'm confident in saying you cannot access any given computer system by playing a game of Mastermind. Agent c 18:30, May 12, 2012 (UTC)
Hacking Fallout: New Vegas? Well, it depends what you mean by that. You can MOD it, on the PC. You'd really have to be a genius to do it on console.-- 18:40, May 12, 2012 (UTC)
- Nah, because to access a completely shut-off, secured terminal is practically impossible. Second of all, bits of data (such as the password) aren't just stored in normal letters, they're scattered all around the terminal and are written in assembly. Even if you managed to gain access to searching the database, it'd take you months or even years to find the simplest password, especially if you aren't using an outside hacking tool.
Also, TwoBears, he didn't mean hacking New Vegas as a game (which is possible on an Xbox), he meant whether the hacking game in New Vegas is realistic or a made up story. --89.203.186.226 18:43, May 12, 2012 (UTC)
