- Despite his cries for help, Father Gabe remains hostile towards the Sole Survivor regardless of any aid they may provide.
- Father Gabe is one of only four male ghouls with a full head of hair, the other three being Tommy Lonegan, Eddie Winter, and the Vault-Tec rep without his hat.

Father Gabe is a reference to the character Father Gabriel from The Walking Dead, who survives the zombie apocalypse by hiding inside his church until the main characters find and rescue him.
