The filtration helmet is a unique supervisor helmet added to Fallout 3 with the add-on The Pitt.

Characteristics

It can be repaired with supervisor helmets and provides a Damage Resistance of 5 as well as a bonus of 10 to Radiation Resistance.

Location

The helmet is awarded by Everett after finding 20 steel ingots.

Notes

• Sometimes the helmet will glitch, allowing the player to wear multiple other helmets at once.
• It is best to stock up on supervisor helmets before leaving The Pitt, as the filtration helmet degrades rather quickly and there is no other piece of headwear in the Capital Wasteland that can be used to repair it other than non-player characters.
