A cylinder containing an extremely flammable liquid fuel for flamethrowers.

Flamethrower fuel is a type of ammunition in Fallout and Fallout 2.

Characteristics

Quite heavy but well worth the weight for Big Guns characters, as the weapons that use this fuel are particularly devastating.

Notes

  • An enhanced version also exists. See: flamethrower fuel Mk II.
  • This is a rare item. In Fallout 2, ammunition of this type is mainly obtained through random encounters. A stash of this ammunition can be found in NCR Town, inside the garage building behind the Sheriff's office, however, it must be stolen.

Bugs

In Fallout, ammunition modifiers are not applied properly which actually makes the fuel do more damage than it would otherwise (due to the +25% DR penalty).
