They both are good rifles, but i'm torn between the two. Lincoln's Repeater is more easily repaired with hunting rifles and does more damage normally, but i've never been a fan of gold and ammo is scarce. the Backwater Rifle looks better(in my opinion), ammo is more easily available, and does better with critical hits in VATS, but it's hard to repair it and it does less damage normally. i guess i'd just like to see other people's opinions on them so it might help me choose.
Although I consider the Repeater to be the better weapon[Daddy loves you, baby], I'm going to be using the Backwater a lot more often, just because I have 10x more ammo for it. However, I'm still going to be busting out the Repeater for really tough battles, and those 1000 yard noscopes the Backwater just can't handle. But for now, I'm still going to be using the Backwater to pop the frontal lobe of every fucking mutant hillbilly I see.Broeman 00:24, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- Good point...why use one of them when yiou can use both?Ill be using lincolns for the tough motherfuckers(Overlords,reavers,behemoths etc.) and at long range....and the backwater rifle for close to medium range and enemys that dont deserve a 44.magnum headshot...also i dunno why but the BW rifle scores more awesome kills.....i never flip an enemy with lincolns but the the BW it's like an acrobatics show. I much prefer the repeater. The ammo press means that ammo scarcity isn't an issue, so it all comes down to higher damage, larger clip, better accuracy, and easier repairs. --DragonJTSLeave me a message 15:51, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
