It has recently come to my attention that there is already a type of international, indie MMO based on the Fallout series. Despite how the community has acted (Fallout in MMORPG status? That sounds horrendous! But no, it's a great idea!), a few develepors are out and making a fallout online game based on the engine of Fallout 2. It's in the same areas as Fallout 1 and 2, and it has tweaks to the gameplay to allow it to work as an MMORPG.
So my question is, do any of you know about it? Does Interplay know about it? Does anyone really know about it?
I have yet to play the game (as I hear it's dominated by steam-rolling tribes of Russians- no joke, actual Russians just steamroll everyone), but it still sounds interesting as a prospect and it's been up as late as last March.
I just figured it'd be a good idea to inform people about it. Here's a link to the way I found out about it: http://fonline2238.blogspot.com/

- Yes, this is quite well-known around here from what I've seen. This section of the forums doesn't refer to generic online Fallout games, it is specifically aimed at Fallout Online, currently in development by Interplay (but not if Bethesda has anything to do with it). Also this indie game isn't canon and therefore doesn't warrant inclusion in the wiki. -- 02:24, May 26, 2011 (UTC)
