Forum:Favorite Moment So Far?
Pretty self-explanatory. So what is your favorite moment in the Mojave Wasteland.
Mine has to be when I was traveling to Vegas from Goodsprings and I discovered Sloan, the guy there said that there were Deathclaws north of Sloan. But I knew the alternative route was filled with raiders(second playthrough/hardcore)so I decided to risk it and keep heading north with Boone. While walking I saw a Deathclaw and I crouched to sneak pass him but all of a sudden I heard a CRACCKKK and realized it was Boone firing(I forgot to turn him passive after our trip to the NCRCF). So I, a level 5 with a hunting rifle custom action(Thank God) with 40 rounds, am forced to fight him because I couldn't run. After maybe a minute later with only 50 HPs left and no Stimpaks used I bagged my first Deathclaw in FNV. TJC 08:13, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
Driving the NCR general off the dam by sliting his throat, OR exploring the area east of Mojave outpost and killing 6 giant radscorpians, 7 radscorpains and 18 small radscorpians with out loosing any health at lvl 7. speaking of boone, he got me killed by the boomers so fuck him. I was running through there artillery field and boone got his legs blown of. My first thought was leave him but then i remebered he had a shitload of supplies on him. So i ran back and took my stuff which made me overecumbred and got me killed, lazy bastard cant run fast enough. (Higgles)—Preceding comment was unsigned. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
Im so going to try that (higgles)
For me, my favourite moment (So far!) was powering up the secret robot army underneath caesars camp, hearing it go *clank clank* as it whirrs into life and laughing evilly, thinking 'haha, youre all DEAD now' :D Braindigitalis 13:40, November 5, 2010 (UTC)
I second the wiping out of White Glove, After I was informed of the quest to find "dinner" I made it a mission to come back in with concealed weapon and take them all out. ANother cool thing is to get to a high hill in the came close to New vegas and wait until it turns dark and all the lights fire up instantly at one point... very cool
Favorite moment was realizing that Vault 34 was so difficult that I was actually going to have to load an earlier save and prepare properly for once. Runners up: finding a fool proof route through the Boomers' no man's land on the second try. Gunning down Vulpes Inculta in a fit of righteous anger... with a 1/4 strength caravan shotgun. My favorite was entering the Sacrificial Chambers of Vault 11 and fighting off the robot attack with a pulse gun and the Paladin Toaster. Reminded me of F3 a lot for some reason.
One shoting some random guard with a BB gun and watching his head explode.
Hmmm, there are a few but some of them were "imagine spots" where I had to go back to a previous save or I would have rather ruined my playthrough. In reverse order:
- 3) Walking into the Silver Rush and taking on the Van Graffs and their guards in an epic plasma and laser firefight that started with me grabbing the Multiplas Rifle off the counter right in front of Gloria Van Graff and shooting her in the face with it.
- 2) Telling the Brother of Steel that I do not submit to their strip search and finding out that I can take on three Paladins at a time.
- 1) Finishing off the Wild Card ending with "Yes Man, would you kindly throw the General off of the Hoover Dam?" right after he said that he'd see me hang.
Its gotta be going into the Vault 11 Sacrificial Chamber (when those side doors came down I spazed out... also I was on hardcore mode)... In fact that whole vault was awesome. I must have listened to that holotape of the last 5 occupants like 10 times after I got out of there. Ninjipples
Little late, but entered the Silver Rush for the first time. So far the best scripted scene I've encountered! I was really impressed. Every movement, every gesture, the voices – cool. Looks like this is the company my merc should work for. -- CompleCCity (talk) 17:19, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
