At this moment I'm not too advanced in the mainstory (more been trying mods and other stuff) but is there a way to stay neutral between NCR and Caesar's Legion? because at this moment I am "accepted" by Caesar's Legion AND NCR so I was wondering if there's a point where you need to choose sides.

Being neutral was the original intent of my character so I find myself killing good people just to even karma.

I'm having the same problem. I think it's basically impossible. It's annoying that you get good karma from killing feral ghouls and Fiends, because they're attacking you and you're going to kill them no matter what. I'm accepted by NCR and Caesar's, but at a certain point in the main storyline you have to choose a faction (read this article:[[1]]), and then all the other factions will hate you. I think it was much easier to stay neutral in Fallout 3. This game just gives out good karma for everything. Glomulus 19:26, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Karma really isn't important in New Vegas. Ignore it. Besides, you get good Karma from killing Fiends because that helps the entire Mojave. I think the reasoning behind feral ghouls is that they're a total affront to nature, possibly even with otherworldly forces involved in their origin. (Dunwich Building and Krivbeknih, anyone?) Feral ghouls do not positively interact with the Wasteland ecology in any way, unlike deathclaws, geckos, and other mutated beasties. They're abominations in the truest sense of the word. in the immortal words of three dog, they may look like monsters but there hearts, there souls, there feelings, are all very much real, seriously though what I am doing atm is everything i can for ncr before talking to the caeser's legion rep who will reset my ranking with them so i can walk in peacefully, than kill caeser and shoot my way out, lol, although i am anxious about dropping boone before heading over there, i don't want him screwing things up for me but hes so badass. Final quests let you side with NCR, Caesar, House or Wild Card, which is sorta neutral.
