Forum:Old World Blues glitch(es)
This is in the xBox360 version of the game
I am in the process of working my way through the Old World Blues DLC, and I noticed when I first started playing it, sometimes the game play would get extremely laggy, especially when you went behind the sink, where there is almost always 5 lobotomites to kill, when I would bring up my VATS, the game would "freeze" but then a few minutes later it would actually bring up the VATS and you were able to choose your targets. This also seems to cause your "caution" warning to not turn off when you are crouching, which means no waiting or resting with the bedroll, because it still thinks enemies are nearby.
The glitch that just started bothers me more though. Every time I sell something to the sink butler or whatever he is, it tells me how much I am supposed to be getting from him, I conclude the transaction, and no caps show up in my inventory, he also doesn't lose any caps. This is quite annoying since Old World Blues is definitely an ammo and armor sucking DLC. I have had to pay 20,000+ caps to repair my almost completely broken advanced riot armor, so I pick up a lot of weapons I normally wouldn't in order to sell them back to recoup some of the massive amount of caps I have spent repairing weapons and armor. I wish I had noticed this before, because I sold about 15k worth of stuff before I realized I wasn't actually being credited with any of the caps. Is there any way to fix this? Is anyone else having this problem? It's very frustrating, I need those caps.

Make sure his cap total does not exceed 32,000 to prevent this. I had problems on the PC when the sink got around ~28k. Load the last save before you started selling. Repair an item, sell an item, repair an item, sell an item, etc. GRPeng 06:46, November 13, 2011 (UTC)
