Where can I get massive amounts of purified water or what a really fast way to get a lot of it?

There is no easy and fast way. Tapper, a Kings member in the North area of Freeside has ~12 for sale. With a Survival of 50, collect all the dirty water you can with two glass pitchers, surgical tubing, and go to a campfire to create Mass purified water. If you have finished Old World Blues and done all the AI upgrades for the Sink just bring all the correct types of empty bottles. There are several hundred empty bottles in the Sunset Sarsaparilla Headquarters. It was done as a game play mechanic to make it hard, even though you have access to caps, thousands of empty bottles, and limitless clean water at Goodsprings source and Lake Mead. Lupe at the Grub n' Gulp rest stop sells large amounts of purified water and usually has double that amount of dirty water which you can purify at the nearby campfire. Dr. Lobotomy 02:06, October 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Watch out though, if you're an enemy of the Legion, a hit squad will likely spawn most, if not every time you fast travel to this location. Giving better armor and weapons to merchants there helps a little, but it still becomes very hard to keep them alive. I don't know if the NCR hit squads spawn there or if they are also hostile to the water merchants, but the Legion seems to target them before they target you. - Just checked Lupe at L10, 10 Purified and 20 Dirty. Previous game I carried a half dozen raider corpses just south of the west end of the overpass. When I want something at Grub n' Gulp, I fast travel to Cassidy Caravans Wreckage and pick off the Legion with a scoped rifle while they are fighting the raiders. Leaving a Fat Man with a nuke at the fast travel destination also works well. GRPeng 15:08, October 16, 2011 (UTC)
