You heard right, but I mean, come on! 1 million is not humanly possible in a few years, he must have used a bot for 95% of the edits or so. I did the math, I'd have to continue this pace for 20 years, then I can reach a million. Don't think that will happen. Once I reach 100,000 I'm gonna relax a bit I think. Sure, I always check grammar, and check edits that are overdue or needs verification, and add new information that hasn't been added yet, I'm online almost everyday, probably 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning and 7:30 to 10:30/11:00 in the afternoon in Vegas, I really don't know how to calculate the estimated time in certain states and countries, I'm not so good at math, so yeah, you can be my NUN mentor. Re: Fighter jets.

My source for this is the USAF, take a look at the images, then take a look at the renderings made for the game, the two are identical and I will not drop it as you suggest. Accusations were made against an administrator because I searched through the wiki activity and found he was the last user to make any changes to that section, going through his contributions I found that he has done similar things to other people however they are much nicer and far more compliant than I. I realize you must think I am going off half cocked and that being your perogative I do not wish to challenge you on the subject, perhaps you are right, however you do not know the extent of the research I have conducted in the field of aviation, I assure you that it has been 30+ years and as a former RAAF pilot fighter jets are a passion, some would say an obsession of mine and will be until the day I kick the bucket, so when I am told by somebody such as yourself that my observations have no merit I do find it very hard to accept your judgement. In closing I am not sorry, I will not ever be sorry and I will continue to make observations where and when I see fit. If administrators do not agree with the content I provide then perhaps a little note to tell me why my contributions were not successful would be in order and much more appreciated, at least then I would have some feedback and could make my own alterations accordingly. 123.2.183.48 09:08, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

Talk pages

That's interesting, in the past I've seen plenty of posts like the one of Talk:Raven that could not possibly be geared towards improving the page. I guess discussion on the topic that could not result in improvement of the page should all be removed? --Skire (talk) 16:35, August 3, 2012 (UTC)

I see. I guess in a way the Vault is more "professional" in terms of editing (much like Wikipedia). Colons

I did some reading and it appears that there actually is a rule stating that if only one independent clause follows the colon, the first word is to remain in lowercase. But I don't think that is too applicable here, as the use of the colon in this case is different since there is no actual sentence preceding the colon. --Skire (talk) 22:43, August 4, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, look this may seem a little jealous of me, but i don't believe that jpolstera has properly earned all those badges and achievements and badges without cheating or something and he is really mean, almost every article or page i add or edit he removes because he thinks he is the saviour of fallout wiki. But that's not what is already on the pages. Thousands and thousands of stories. They are all full of discussions and you haven't written them all off!. Check my additional today.The lines above  are all full of discussions going back years and rightly so. If this is how you feel then you are changing a very long established tradition and I feel you are being more than very unfair on me. Reading Blogs of peoole you don't ever know exist.?. All you have on your blog is Polls!   You are being oppressive. I will continue to comment as I and most others always have. It's how we all learn in the past.What made the game exiting.The exploration by others telling their own  stories. Not by seeking  out  blogs of people we don't know.As to Blogs.Your won are full of Polls.No use to my gaming.

As for editing respective pages.Some edits are now so cut to the bone that they are useless to gaming and without the corresponding stories in the talk pages are lifeless worn out husk of boring academic info.The talk pages as much as you may disagree are the pages that bring the game to life. It's where you find there are real flesh and blood people out there. Not academic robots. I assure you, I realize that there are many stories all over the talk pages in this wiki. However, there are so many stories, it would be virtually impossible to remove every single talk page. But that's beside the point; Nukapedia is based off of WikiMedia which details what talk pages are for here. Being condensed, the discussion page is supposed to be for things like proposing large changes to the page, verifying info, et cetera, not sharing stories and personal experiences. An I'm not just "oppressing" you; over the past six months or so, I've been reverting anything I find that doesn't involve improving the respective page, so it's not just you. Looking over your past contributions, the actual problem I've been seeing is that you've been posting all your exploit info in the wrong place(s). You've often been placing the info in a location talk page when the exploit doesn't really have much to due with the exploit at hand. It would be much better if you posted the info in Talk:Fallout 3 exploits or (for your scaling-walls-Dogmeat exploit) on Talk:Dogmeat (Fallout 3). Banned for no reason!

Hi, I'm an active reader/commenter on this wiki but it told me today that I was banned for three months by "an unknown anonymous user" for using another computer to continue vandalism. I really have no idea what that means, I never vandalized anything here. Is there some way this ban could be lifted please? Thanks.

Old World Blues

Hi, I was wondering, since you're number 2 on the wiki and basically in charge. I was wondering if you could grant me permission to edit the article Old World Blues (quest), i would like to add in the quest walk through section, in brackets to bring rad-x and rad-away while fighting the scorpion. Well, if you have a tablet or a scanner, you can just write your signature out and upload it that way. If you don't have access to one of those, you can either use a program like Paint or Photoshop to write it out, or I can just use a default signature for you. In the event you have to intervene in the regular flow of chat because a user has breached the rules, remember to act as professionally as possible. Once a situation calls for the use of your moderator powers, the point where you "put on your chat mod hat" so to speak, act professionally, dispassionately and with tact. Do not use inflammatory phrases like "Everyone chill the fuck out", etc. If, for some reason, you begin to lose control of your emotions, ask another sysop/mod to intervene. If there are no other mods, I'd recommend a short ban (an hour would probably suffice) of the user, if warranted, to allow the situation to cool. If you find yourself in a situation where you are actively engaging a user in violation of the chat rules, and another user tries to "help out", please politely inform that user (PM would be a good way to do it) that you have the situation under control and ask them to allow you to do your job. Remember that they are only trying to help, so go easy on them. To ensure that all sysops/chat mods read and understand these points, I would ask that all users with chat moderator rights reply by endorsement :

Also wondering if you can have a look at what Leon was duing with Dwellersims, as you an see it was quite intense, but having that level of feedback on edits I think did some good... Yeah, being a wiki unfortunately a low conversion rate is to be expected... I've taken to slowing down the "recruitment" process in the theory that if I wait a few days, only those likely to come back will respond. I did perms as it was a very extreme piece of vandalism. What the wiki doesn't show is that a few mins later phase 2 of his plan kicked in.... GhashBone

Is that really his name? Do you know whether or not it has been checked in-game or with the GECK? I normally find pages to edit in two ways. Category lingo

Rookie :) Oh but it does something! When you look closely on the Fallout: New Vegas robots and computers page at the category, you will see a space behind the | . That means the page will not sort in the category directory by F (Fallout: New Vegas ro.. etc), but by that one space that has been put behind the | . A space (overriding the F in this case) will force the sorting of the page to the very beginning of the category listing. So normally spoken Fallout: New Vegas robots and computers would have sorted at the F, now it's right there at the top of the category. LOL, actually that strategy works pretty good. It's the only place in the game I use mines and I never have to defend the graveyard. I just go loot the bodies after they run in there and die. ADB

Hello, Kas. This is a message that I will be circulating through Nukapedia's Sysops. A while back I had created a more suitable version of the Administrators' Discussion Board as an attempt to help regulate important matters that require immediate attention from the veteran users around Nukapedia. With Fallout 4 on the horizon, I would like to begin making this feature more widely embraced, so that we all are more comfortable and familiar with using it for when the time comes around that we'll need to look towards it the most. What I would like to see is for an example to be set for where certain matters should be discussed within our community, as well as creating an environment where users will know that their issues will be addressed in a timely and fair manner. What does this mean, exactly?

• Appropriate topics should be addressed within the ADB instead of the normal fora space. Not only is the ADB a general area to condense important topics, but it is also always kept at the top for easy access. (As well as having a place within the Community Messages.)
• All Administrators, Moderators, Patrollers, and Bureaucrats should make it a priority to check through the ADB at least once every few days or so. This is the duty of mantling the extra tools, after all, and is not too much to ask for.
• The ADB should make an appearance within new user's welcome message.
• If a topic within the fora has been made that is of significant importance and affects the wiki as a whole, these topics should be moved into the ADB.
  • It is my hope that these requirements will help our community become more familiar with where they should go to have their grievances and ideas properly heard. Right now, the ADB has been largely ignored because the Sysops have also largely ignored it, and this is unacceptable at times when important matters such as this one are mostly by-passed except for a couple of people. With the chaos that is soon to come with the new title(s), all I am asking is for a bit of responsibility in making sure that we all recognize issues and ideas as they come up, and making sure that we do our parts in seeing them through. Thank you for reading, and I would greatly appreciate some feed-back. Once a general consensus has been reached, possible changes will be taken care of.

I know what you mean. I never liked teachers in general, to much of a power complex, but I had a few teachers like you've described yourself, and they made a lasting impression on me. I'd have even counted them as friends. In fact, I'm going back next week to see my old Classics teacher; one of the best, and still very young. We all loved her. I like to think we'd have got on even in that situation. Still no progress. Ausir got one of the tech guys to give me a solution, and that involved unlinking my account, which involved changing my password and e-mail address, twice, and it still didn't work. The problem was that the password was (apparently) invalid, no matter what I put into the field. I couldn't unlink it, and so I couldn't link it to my account like you were saying. Answers wiki

Hey, i was told to contact you by a few users, they said you could help.

Im one of the admins to wikianswers, and we have become extremely overwhelmed, we have been struggling to maintain our 30% answered questions ratio. I have been going to wikias that could help in certain category's, one of our larger ones is Fallout (Im sure you tied that together, as im here.)

I was informed you run the sister site, the Fallout answers. I was wondering if we could talk some sort of agreement. Wikianswers is working with sevreal other answer sites, as way for the sites to help each other, and have become a small (for now) network.

What would it take for our sites to work together, and help each other out?

For the most part you are right, cutting our workload would be a major plus for us, its an idea i have thought about, but me being the newest admin, im trying to get a feel for their views before i suggest "cut everything". Ill make that recommendation though now that im hearing a second voice on that matter.

The merge think is new to me myself, you would still be connected to this wiki, but you would also be connected to the others in the network, questions and users of key subjects will get sent to the answers wiki they need, balancing the workload, and increasing editors to certain wiki's. Ill tell the admin in charge to contact you, as they have a better understanding of how it works since they have been working with it longer.

Joshua Graham's God is not God to all. I changed it to his God as a minor edit. I thought we fixed this with "Quote" the Judeo-Christian deity " End quote. They are your words & I think they are the best.

Joshua Graham is a fictional character in a game. It is not best to offend folks of many faiths?

After a minute of so of working it out I can see how that that made sense and how it should have been that that and not just one that, so I'll leave that at that, but please tell me that is not how you teach children to hyphenate? Well as a transcript, I believe we can take some liberties with the punctuation, as that is in the mind of the listener. Will you at least settle for a double dash then, because that is the same as putting the spaces either side of the hyphen? In their current state, it gives the impression that the words are being bonded, like no-one. An excellent idea, at that! I haven't given any thought to actual placement of the articles in the rotation, as I'm just trying to pick articles that are, as you said, of significant interest and not too insignificant in topic. As long as there aren't any major issues, we'll take 'em. I think Christine may have been driven to go after Elijah more due to a personal reason than because the Circle of Steel told her to, or at least she let her personal motive affect her behavior. If you look at both her endings, it's clear that her job has turned into an obsession and shaped her into a more disordered state. Cazador edit

Believe it or not, I actually didn't change those links. I've noticed the new editor has been changing a couple of things without me even going near that particular section. I've just noticed it with a recent edit I'd done. I also can't add the time stamps to verification using the tilde keys. (Republic of Faffi (talk) 14:26, December 10, 2013 (UTC))

Checked the other edit I'd done today and made sure to undo it. I honestly have no idea what's happening there. It seems to happen when I use the edit button at the top of the screen, but not when I use edit on the individual sections. (Republic of Faffi (talk) 14:52, December 10, 2013 (UTC))

Several things are bugged. The verify thing, wikipedia links, the soundfile width size is changed to another format automatically. Now they deactived uploads. Probably has to do with after effects of the Fluid layout change? I just managed changing to Visual Editor. Went to the Elder Scrolls wiki where I had a totally different Editing screen in Preferences, including Visual. Changed it, and went back here. After a few minutes I got it working. Changed it back for now though. I'll wait till are those bugs are fixed. Jspoel 17:59, December 10, 2013 (UTC)

When I was leaving my messages on your talk page, GarouxBloodline had noticed and sent me a message with a link to the visual editor forum and encouraged me to report any bugs I've experienced. I'd say it is to do with the visual editor, as that has never happened to me before and it only happened yesterday when the new editor kicked in. It also changed some links on another edit I'd done, which I mentioned above, to wikimedia links. I had no idea it was going on and I'm not to keen to edit today as I'm worried it will happen again. Well, to be fair, they didn't force the visual editor on us. I flipped the switch. All they did was change what was a really crappy visual editor for one that looks like it has promise, but is acting crappy right now.
