Johnny Montrano, Jr. was a criminal before the Great War.
Background
Johnny Montrano, Jr. was a member of Sal Barsconi's crew in Boston. He lived on Prince Street, where he had a wife and daughter. Montrano worked against Eddie Winter until the former suggested that the North and South Sides team up to fight a common enemy. In the interest of Irish/Italian relations, Winter hired Montrano to watch out for the police during a job. However, Montrano did nothing while the police came, and this infuriated Winter, who issued a veiled threat against Montrano on a holotape.
After the failed job, Winter hired Robert Cooper to kill Montrano and dispose of the body. Furthermore, Winter wanted to make sure that Montrano's father, Johnny Sr., didn't find out who was behind Montrano's murder.[1]
