Lysergic acid diethylamide, abbreviated LSD and colloquially known as acid, is a semisynthetic psychedelic drug, well known for its psychological effects which can include altered thinking processes, closed- and open-eye visuals, synesthesia, an altered sense of time and spiritual experiences. It is about twice as powerful as peyote cactus.[1]
Pre-War, LSD was primarily associated with hippie counter-culture.[2] It was also used by Jack Cabot in his attempts to free his father in the 1960s.[3]
