Request for recommendation
I would like you, User:Tocinoman and User:Skire to take a look at a recent edit made by ToCxHawK on his user page. It seems that after another user was banned from chat (and later site-blocked), ToCxHawK posted a quote of that user's comment, the one the other user was banned for, on his user page (which he later removed). Frankly, to me, posting that comment in any form, quoting someone else or not, is very disturbing, and I feel a violation of policy meriting administrative action. I understand that we are required to assume good faith, so I asked him on his talk page to explain the reasoning behind posting the offensive quoted comment. His reply to me can be summed up as "I found it hilarious". I, personally, can find no humor at all in someone saying what the quoted user said. His explanation, to me, does not show he posted the objectionable content in error or any other way that can be termed "good faith". It appears to me that he either agrees with the sentiment, or, more probably, that he enjoys the offensive comment so much that he choose to re-post it as a quote on his user page.
If it were left up to me, he would be blocked for this edit. But understanding that I am one of the main targets of the comment he quoted, I am not comfortable doing that. I would prefer that you three examine this and return a recommendation to me for action. Please, in concert with the others, examine this and let me know of your decision, whatever that may be, as soon as you find possible. The Gunny

It's a user conduct issue from my perspective. I would appreciate it if you could detail your rationale of using administrative conduct discipline (removal of rights) over user conduct discipline (site block). I suspect it's his position as moderator, but my question to that would be: What would your recommendation be if the user in question held no extra rights and why is that different in this case? I knew someone would, I just kind of wanted to draw attention to the fact that the layout description mentions only three dead female talons when there are four. I posted about it on the talk page. Hey Ryan. I totally and blatantly copied your chat javascript and css just to see what it did, and it didn't do anything. I think I know what it's supposed to do, but I'm curious as to what you're trying. Is it to sort the users into usergroups in the chat list? Sorry for being annoying :P

Sounds like a good idea, but I don't understand why it should be a feature exclusive to administrators. It's only for convenience after all -- clicking on "A Wikia Contributor" would bring you to their contributions page, displaying their IP. Script
Saw your script earlier, and felt I should point out that such a script has already existed here for quite some time. I even use a version of it myself that does not need Administrative rights, and have been for well over a year now. Thought I would mention that in-case it would be easier to work off of an already existing script instead of starting from scratch.

Some are saying he used the name change to get around the ban but I don't think that works...

This seems to be a slam dunk to me. You all did seem to be kidding around a bit with south park references, the three of you told him to not bring SNM stuff over, he continued, Hail you told him that you weren't messing around, Fireburn you then asked "r u sur?" (sic) to which hail replied "yes" and you acknowledged that with a "mkay" and then "but first".
Fireburn, were also encouraging the use of admin tools with your "Go ahead" "Kick me MH", making me wonder if this was your intention all along - to provoke a ban and then get me to act.

I figured there would be deaths like that all across the games (I've never played Fallouts 1 or 2, and I only got to complete New Vegas once before I lost it). That's why I was looking for unpreventable deaths specifically in Fallout 3. I thought it was noteworthy until I realized how many unsaveable characters I had forgotten about (Janice, Anna, Agnes Taylor, President Eden, possibly more I'm forgetting about at the moment). Basically, the events concern the chat ban (and later site ban, although this was removed rather quickly) of User:GarouxBloodline. The chat ban was performed by User:TheGunslingerReturns...

Hi Ry,
Re the investigation. As currently constituted there are some flaws with the investigation. Firstly that the body was convened outside of policy in that a bureaucrat is required to appoint the 3 (I think that you'll agree when looking at slinger's method of ban doing something outside the norm to investigate something outside of the norm is somewhat hypocritical); additionally there have been questions raised about skire's involvement in the events (being in communication with several participants during the event).
After discussing this with Skire, in order to resolve these flaws I'm asking yourself and X to continue looking into the situation, but to work with Follower instead of Skire. Skire has agreed this is appropriate, he doesn't concede his neutrality but does agree that a replacement may be warranted. Additionally, this puts the investigation in line with policy.
Although I was present, I don't expect me putting the rubber stamp on this to in any way effect your investigation. Agent c (talk) 21:58, May 14, 2014 (UTC)
