Captain Michael Hagen was an astronaut before the Great War.

Background

Along with Captain Richard Wade and Captain Mark Garris, Hagen was part of the crew of the USSA's Virgo II Lunar Lander. It was the first lunar landing, making contact with the lunar surface on July 16, 1969. The astronauts became the first humans to walk on a celestial body other than Earth.[1] The lander later ended up on display in the Museum of Technology in Washington, D.C.

Behind the scenes

The landing happened four days before the real-world landing of Apollo 11.

Appearances

Michael Hagen is mentioned only in Fallout 3.

The Valiant 11's crew consisted of Captain Richard Wade, Captain Mark Garris and Captain Michael Hagen of the USSA.
