Currently, dead NPCs are treated as the same as all NCPs from a game as infoboxes are concerned and are just given the "Character infobox". I don't feel this this appropriately categorizes these characters. I propose that we change the infobox used in dead NPC articles, as well as the addition of a "dead characters" category. This infobox wouldn't need a section titled "role" as dead NPCs's "role" is typically "corpse" and could include a "death by" if such is known (e.g. Dead_branchtender died from Mirelurk attack). I would like to suggest the following proposals.

- An entirely new infobox for dead characters is a little too much for a relatively small gain. I would suggest at most modifying the current infobox in some way to include the fact they are dead. As for the mentioned only infobox, if the corpse/skeleton is in the game world, they are more than "mentioned only", so I'd still say modifying the regular character infobox is more approprieate. As for a category, please see my comments on other threads asking about adding categories for rationales to create a new cat. Is there a need to group these articles together for maintnenance or navigation purposes that can't be done in a more appropriate way? On it's face, I'd say no. The Gunny

- I'm not entirely opposed to seeing a section of the NPC infobox dedicated to the players current mortal status, but I also think it will create more problems than it will solve in the long run. In the end, deceased characters are referred to as such within the body of the paragraph (or should be), and thus the addition of information to the infobox simply isn't needed, nor is a new infobox for said characters.
