The Potomac fisherman is a unique scavenger inhabiting the Capital Wasteland in 2277.
Daily schedule[]
The fisherman lives near a dock just outside of the Anchorage Memorial, near the Potomac River. During the day, they sit out on the nearby dock and sleep in their bed at night.

- The fisherman's sex and appearance are randomly generated.
- The fisherman is referred to as "Scavenger" in-game.
- They own the items in their footlocker outside of their makeshift home. Looting the footlocker is therefore considered stealing.
- An image of the fisherman may be seen in the ending of Fallout 3 so long as the player character ends with "Good" or "Very Good" Karma.
