The super tool kit is a item in Fallout 2.
Characteristics
An impressive tool set made by "Snap-Off". When equipped, it temporarily increases the repair skill by 40%. You can give one to Skeeter in Gecko and he'll give you a fuel cell controller which is the vital component for getting your car working in the Den.
Locations
- Valerie ordered one in Vault City to replace her lost tools. If you give her a tool and a wrench, she receives 5 kits on the next day. You can ask for one and she gives it to you, then you can steal the other four.
- Jules in New Reno will sell it to you or you can pickpocket it from him.
- Smitty will occasionally sell one in his inventory, which makes getting the fuel cell controller a lot easier, i.e. buying it from him, traveling to Gecko, giving it to Skeeter, then traveling back for your brand new car.
- Box in Westin Ranch.
- Another can be found in Navarro in Raul's workshop.
Behind the scenes
"Snap-Off" is a reference to the tool company "Snap-On."
