Ron Cobb (–January 28, 2078) was a construction worker and survivor of the Great War.
Background[]
A citizen of Malden, Massachusetts, the Cobbs made their home in the West Everett Estates. As a construction worker, he was working with the construction crew in the neighborhood and in his free time, he was working on a Nuka-Cola machine in the den. When the Great War struck, he and the rest of the workers were irradiated, leaving him the only survivor and a ghoul.
When his neighbor Wayne Tournquist emerged from their shelter on the night of January 27, 2078, Wayne went to the Cobbs' home in search of duct tape, their supply exhausted. To Wayne's surprise, there was the cold barrel of a gun pushed up against the back of his head. Ron told Wayne to turn around slowly, and he was shocked by Ron's ghastly appearance. Wayne begged him to stop, but he put the gun in his mouth and cocked back the hammer. He heard the gunshot, but when Wayne opened his eyes, Ron was falling to the ground, and Wayne spotted Lance Ames from down the street up on Wayne's roof. Lance saw the whole thing and saved Wayne's life.[1]
