S.O.R.-1000 Beta is a robobrain guarding B.O.M.B.-001 in 2253.

Background

S.O.R. -1000 Beta is security and operations robot, created by the US Army in 2073. It has two laser guns built into its arms, and continuously patrols the living quarters of the B.O.M.B.-001 alongside S.O.R.-1000 Delta giving audible cues as to their actions.

Quests

• Disable S.O.R.-1000 Beta & Delta through combat: Take out S.O.R.-1000 Beta and Delta by force.
• Disable S.O.R.-1000 Beta & Delta through computer: By observing S.O.R.-1000 Beta and Delta's patrol pattern the Prisoner can work his way into the maintenance room and disable them via a terminal directly tied to their command routines.
• Successfully sneak past S.O.R.-1000 Beta and Delta: With a Sneak skill of 100 the Prisoner can get past S.O.R.-1000 Beta and Delta completely undetected, but ultimately skips the living quarters altogether.
• Build a freeze-gun: Once the schematics for the freeze gun have been found, the Prisoner can find one of the components, a power source, from either S.O.R.-1000 Beta or Delta.

Appearances

S.O.R.-1000 Beta was to appear only in Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios.
