Slalom Chalet was one of the simulations that Stanislaus Braun ran in Vault 112, alongside Toucan Lagoon and Tranquility Lane.

Background[]

A simulation set in a skiing resort in the Swiss Alps, Slalom Chalet was enough of a favorite of Braun's that he and Vault 112's residents spent 23 years in it. Eventually, as with Toucan Lagoon, Braun grew tired of it and decided to reset the simulation, but not before Old Lady Dithers slipped on the chalet's icy stairs and impaled herself on the wrought-iron fence, entirely at random.

Braun described the accident as spectacular, enthusing about "that bold crimson on fresh fallen snow," but it still wasn't enough to make him reconsider running a new, more "domestic" simulation - Tranquility Lane.[1]

Appearances[]

Slalom Chalet is mentioned only in Fallout 3.
