This little girl is going to fucking kill you. Hahaha.

Smiling Kate is the leader of a small group of raiders working for Sinjin in the Commonwealth in 2287. She can be found outside of Bunker Hill.

Background[]

Smiling Kate is tasked with forming a hunting party to find and kill the Silver Shroud following the deaths of Kendra and Wayne Delancy.[2] Unfortunately for Kate, Hancock has the same fate in mind for her, making her one of the Sole Survivor's targets during The Silver Shroud.[1]

Quests[]

  • The Silver Shroud: Shortly after the Sole Survivor, dressed as the Silver Shroud, finds and kills Kendra, Hancock arranges a meeting with the Shroud over Kent Connolly's radio broadcast. Having caught wind of Sinjin's plot for revenge, Hancock tasks the Sole Survivor with killing both Smiling Kate and Northy, two more of his underlings, to lure Sinjin out of hiding.
  • Kate can be found with a small posse gathered around her, giving the raiders a brief pep talk dripping with psychotic glee. Since Kate and her men aren't immediately hostile, it is possible to talk with her as the Shroud. She and her party turn hostile once this dialogue has been completed or the player character assaults them. Once Kate is dead, a calling card can be left on her corpse. If Northy is already dead, a holotape can be looted off of her corpse.

Notes[]

Smiling Kate sticks out as the most bloodthirsty and psychopathic among her peers, with Avery alluding to her penchant for violence and torture in a holotape addressed to both her and Northy.[2]

Appearances[]

Smiling Kate appears only in Fallout 4.
