Alien Super Glue?[]

Since everything in this section is speculation and has been answered by the release of the DLC, seems like this section could be deleted now(?). In fact, most of what is currently on this page is speculation and could be deleted.75.12.145.3 21:16, September 5, 2009 (UTC)

So the alien version of Wonderglue will be able to repair anything? Seems bit weak for a reason to return to the mothership. --Keris Rain 09:21, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

but what is 25%? I mean once you used it, it's gone? or can you use it over and over again, but that would make the 25% look stupid. or does it have a cool time or a minimum health requirement? RG (xbox) 10:08, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

There will be most likly more than one.GodPlageon 12:55, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

I doubt it, the interview said the ship housed 'a' item, which implies that there's only one.--Keris Rain 16:52, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Wow, you really misread that. It meant that there is only one version of Alien Epoxy. That, or I really misread that.--Master of cheeZ 17:51, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm thinking it might be a one use per 24 hour thing? Like the shrines in oblivion? You use it once, come back a day later and BAM you can use it again. Bald Eagle Brennan 18:52, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

^^That seems to be more wishful thinking, but and I'm hoping so too. It wouldn't really make sense if their solution for limited use of unique weapons was a limited way to repair them. --Clean Up 22:00, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm thinking that this item is intended to be our "big reward" for completing this add-on, similar to the Chinese stealth armor (Fallout 3) from O:A. I mean, there will be new weapons and all, and I hope they're great, but this particular item will have more of an overall impact on the way we play the rest of the game. I know that when I got the stealth armor, FO3 became a different game. It affected not only O:A, but all the other quest lines and add-ons as well. Now with this "epoxy" stuff, we'll never have to worry about the condition of our items again. This is assuming that you can have the stuff in relatively unlimited quantities "once the main quest is over" (key words), which may or may not be the case. It's those words that make me think it's a "reward" for completing the add-on and will therefore be unlimited. We shall see. Then again, they might just give us 10 tubes of the stuff and say "use it wisely." That would suck. 12.204.48.130 08:18, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Alright here's what the article said. "Once you've finished with the Mothership main quest, you'll still be able to return to the alien ship. There's definitely a reason to journey back, as the ship houses an item called "Alien Epoxy" which can automatically repair an item by 25%" Alright first this text says you can return to the ship after completing the quest, second it says the reason to return is because the ship houses the alien epoxy. If this was a limited consumable item like say a stimpack or ten tubes as suggested by others above why would they give the epoxy as a reason to return to the ship?. Either the device is similar to the ammo press in that its stationary and is repairs using other items. (say an assault rifle to repair power armor) or has limited use a day. The ship may also dispense a limited number of alien epoxy a day. Say every three days you can return to the ship for one tube of epoxy. The article implies its a reason to return to the ship after completing the questline. If it was a finite resource. There really wouldn't be a reason to return for it. --LordVukodlak 18:47, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm thinking it will kind of be like "My First Laboratory" where you go to the ship and the ship "brews" the epoxy for a while, then you return and pick it up. PhayzeShift 17:27, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

This is just like the ammo press, I think O_o..... I was hoping that you might bring some wonderglue to the ship then it produces one tube of alien epoxy... Or fission batteries to make APC's

oh god oh god please let there be more than one. wait, no. please let it be something that can be used again and again and again. (with restrictions, obviously :P)--TheUnknownSpellchecker 02:52, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Awesome being able to go back to the ship is way better than a vualt for a hideout.

Possibility[]

I beleive that you get this item the same way as you get the x5 Purified Water from Wadsworth in your Megaton house.

Anyone else?--87.52.71.146 10:38, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

That makes sense... Shit. I hope so. I wish I'd just spent the cash to upgrade my PC for this game. Not having console commands sucks. (YES I'M A CHEATER) --74.222.98.146 18:33, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

How does this stuff work?[]

Alright. If I use the Epoxy, it automatically restores the currently equipped weapon's condition by 25%. If I don't have a weapon equipped, it doesn't do anything. How can I use it to restore armor and clothing? Nitty 15:02, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

It says "any item". Are we sure it can repair clothes and armor? Nitty 19:28, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

There is no way to repair anything other than your currently-quipped weapon. 69.14.30.181

Doesn't appear to be able to repair any sort of apparel. 99.5.66.221 21:18, 3 August 2009 (UTC)Prince Charming

I find that to be pretty disappointing. Unrepairable clothing will still have to be reserved for Wolfgang and company. Company?(xbox 360)74.138.244.90 19:04, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Er... it repairs MY clothing... Spoon 21:38, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

How do you repair your apparel with it? ~ HAZMAT82 22:05, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

I'd suggest using that 100% repair skill of the slaver before she leaves the ship if you got unrepairable armor XD 188.24.16.83 01:50, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Obtaining?[]

Aside from taking them from around MZ and killing armed aliens, does Sally give any once every while? Or that guy? --Radnus 81.205.186.16 18:21, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah Sally gives either Alien Epoxy, Biogel, APM, or spare weapons after completing the last quest. You can get up to 3 Alien Epoxy from her at once if you're lucky. Elliot does not give you any Epoxy or Biogel like Sally, but instead he gives you alien weapons (usually more than one at a time). Those two are an easy way to maintain a good supply of alien weapon parts, Epoxy, and even APM. --71.97.77.69 22:12, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

K, thx. Strange this is not yet mentioned in the discription. But hell, at least I know now. Thx again. --Radnus 81.205.186.16 01:58, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Does this mean there is an infinite amount of epoxy?Tehuberleetmaster 00:44, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes. ~ HAZMAT82 02:46, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Healing side effects from Alien Biogel[]

I've noticed that once you consume an Epoxy after you've consumed the Biogel that the side effects from the Biogel disappear... I'll check up on it again... --213.10.35.111 21:32, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Temporary?[]

Are the effects of the Alien Epoxy Tempary repair, or when you use it on a weapon it repairs it like it would repair if you sacrificed another weapon?--Paragus10 00:55, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

It's permanent. Ronin 01:00, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

Alien Blaster[]

I cannot repair the alien blaster with alien epoxy if it is broken. Any way past this?

Well, Have a merchant repair it and then use the epoxy 68.192.9.90 21:30, October 10, 2009 (UTC)

Over-use[]

Something I've witnessed, and want to know if it should be added to the articule, should you use epoxy on a 100% weapon the epoxy will be used, but obviously nothing will happen to the weapon, should this be added as a little warnig, as such. - RASICTalk 23:31, November 4, 2009 (UTC)

Anchorage Assault rifle[]

In the Article it says if you use it while it is 100 it does more damage then it should, is this confirmed on pc? I have that rifle and it didnt show more damage in the pipboy, so if this is true then it means it wouldn't show up? Also if this were true, would it do more damage then that of the xuanlong rifle? Gary 23 05:53, February 25, 2010 (UTC)

Repair Calculation ??[]

Repair Calculation works how?

If I have Repair skill >75, so epoxy will give "30% repair", does that mean a weapon with current condition - 45% will go to 74%? Or is it a 30% as a percentage, i.e. 45% will go to 45 + (.3 x 45) ? 73.192.202.52 19:37, October 19, 2018 (UTC)

It will increase from 45% to 75%.
