Based on?

When I created the page I had no clue what type of aircraft this plane was based on. I guessed C-47 because it has some similarities, although it has a lot of obvious differences (i.e. wingspan, folding wings ect.). I know that it isn't meant to look exactly like the plane it is based on so I may be right, but if any plane spotters out there could help it would be appreciated.--GreyMullen 13:16, February 2, 2011 (UTC)

I think you were right with it being a slighty different version of a C-47. Like the C-47, I think they served as military aircraft in the game hence the amount in Camp Mc Carran which I believe the military took command of for the war effort..--Gmcb007 14:50, April 23, 2011 (GMT)

It doesn't really matter what it looks like, it would come under the same ruling as real world weapon references, unless it is called as such in the game or noted by a dev to be based on a certain plane, we have to treat it as a entirely new fictitious plane. Oh come on, no reason to be a spoilsport. It's a bloomin' C-47 with folding wings. Anyone with working eyeballs and even rudimentary knowledge of D-day(Watching Band of Brothers counts, that's how rudimentary) will recognize it. The only thing I find odd about it is why such an old design is still in use in 2077 when it's clear jet engines are in common use. I'm the best at space!

So were these used by the NCR to move personnel to McCarran from the NCR homeland? They look like they are in working order 58.151.235.138 23:23, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

Fuel fuel fuel shortages taunt the NCR probably.--76.75.95.251 22:24, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

Did anyone notice that the plane has no doors or hatches? ;) Fonzeppelin, 10:19, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
