Mention[]

Just who mentions Boston in those games, and in what regards? ☢ Energy X ☣ 20:39, June 7, 2015 (UTC)

1) Zimmer in Fallout 3 claims he is from the Institute, in the Commonwealth, long rumored at the time to be MIT,
2) Marcella in Point Lookout claims she is from the Commonwealth, riding down on the ferry, as well as Tobar the ferryman says he's boat has been there.
3) In Broken Steel, Dr Li supposedly leaves for the Commonwealth after the events of Broken Steel.
4) In the Pitt, Asher makes a statement about The Commonwealth in some fashion I don't remember.

I think that may be the point. These mentions are for The Commonwealth, not Boston specifically. Is Boston itself mentioned in any of these dialog files? The Gunny  UserGunny chevrons 20:54, June 7, 2015 (UTC)
Not to my knowledge, I have never heard Boston specifically. It was long speculated because of the apparent significance of "The Institute" and that it likely is MIT then Boston would be a major hub. But again its a long chain of speculation. However no, it was never mentioned in text as far as I know.Digital21 (talk) 20:57, June 7, 2015 (UTC)
Then I think we'd better take off the other games as "mentioned in". The Gunny  UserGunny chevrons 21:03, June 7, 2015 (UTC)
I've looked over the DLC and Main Dialogs again and to the best of my knowledge there is no reference specifically to Boston itself unless it's obscure. Not that I find it surprising otherwise it would have been logged long before now; certainly given the age of the game. Just an FYI in case this wiki page is edited again arbitrarily. Notice[]

Remember to keep this page strictly about the city only, as the entire map would count as The Commonwealth (Greater Boston area), not Boston. SierraX (talk) 18:33, October 22, 2016 (UTC)
