I polished up the grammar and phrasing of this article, as well as removing the line hinting that the player should finish up his business outside Vegas before going inside. This isn't really true since the player can leave and enter Vegas as he pleases. ProfessorApoc 18:31, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

Loot in Ruins

So where are the locations?

I don't know but behind the bookshelf in the ruins ESE where the issue of True police stories & a set of brass knuckles are located, I also found a combat knife hidden behind that bookshelf...can anyone confirm? -Rob J-

I don't know about the combat knife (not particularly interested), but I found in the same house, 3 Jets sitting in the bowl of the downstairs toilet.188.141.58.135 17:32, August 1, 2011 (UTC)

New picture needed

I think this page needs a new picture becouse technicaly, It is a picture of the Boulder City train station, not the town itself.--Radiated Raider 01:12, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Private Kowalski killed by radscorpions

I don't know if this is a bug, but when I killed the NCR in boulder city, I came out and found him dead. If anyone else had this happen, please reply.--TheReaver74 19:47, January 4, 2011 (UTC)

CPL Mark (unreadable)

The last name on him is "Ngyuen"

Highwayman

Dunno if this is worth mentioning, but in the song Highwayman by e.g. Johnny Cash, "a place called Boulder on the wild Colorado" is mentioned.

"I was a dam builder across the river deep and wide Where steel and water did collide A place called Boulder on the wild Colorado I slipped and fell into the wet concrete below They buried me in that great tomb that knows no sound But I am still around.. I'll always be around"

makes some sense considering the concrete monument there and the Highwayman from Fallout 2.

Boulder

Is there a link between the New Vegas location called Boulder City and the Van Buren Boulder ? 22:49, March 20, 2011 (UTC).

More wandering inhabitants after clearing Quarry Junction

Upon returning to this location after Quarry Junction has been cleared there will be some more NPCs wandering around and inside the saloon, all wearing Caravaneer outfits. They will comment along the lines that the quarry is no longer dangerous and Ike will also confirm that business is much improved if asked. --Om3ro 15:16, April 13, 2011 (UTC)

How do we know all of those honored servicemen were human?

Each of the names on the wiki currently links to a stub page (e.g., Sandra Abbot) which lists them as human. Can we know that? Ghouls and super mutants can serve in the NCR armed forces, don't they? Admittedly, it's likely that the overwhelming majority of them are human, but to say that we can take a list of 107 NCR soldiers are say that we know every single one of them, 107 out of 107, is human seems like a stretch. Why not just leave the race line out of the stub pages, and we all know that they were mostly humans?

Judging from the dialogue with Private Kyle Edwards and First Sergeant Astor that would seem almost unheard of. Great Mara 18:12, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
Camp Searchlight had mostly gone feral ghoul, though, right? I don't know the exact dialogue, I admit. Gond was in the rangers in 2241, although the NCR might have gone more purist since then. The wiki claims that some veteran rangers are ghouls when you take off their armor and helmet. Idhan 04:55, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

Do we really need pages about each of the soldiers who died?

The way I see it, having pages about each and every one of the soldiers who died at Hoover Dam is pointless. Every single page is copied and pasted, with the only difference being the names. There is no room for expansion, and the pages are just clogging up the wiki. I say we delete them all, and just have the names all together on this page, as they are now. --Wiseman of the Wastes 12:16, July 5, 2011 (UTC)

Does the Boulder City page really need a pointless and unnecessary list of every single person named on the memorial stone? Especially seeing as how the links are simply copy-and-paste jobs with individual names inserted? It adds absolutely nothing to the page, but it sure is a pain to have to scroll all the way past it every time I visit the page. If people INSIST on it being there, at least put it at the very bottom of the page so that it isn't such a nuisance.

Yea, I agree, stop with this nonsense to whoever is filling up valuable wiki space with this rubbish, why would anyone even bother to check on all these copy pasted pages?

Can someone please explain to me why we need a list of irrelevant NPC's on the Boulder City page? They all link to the same copy-and-paste style page where only the names are changed, and none of the people named on the memorial affect the game in any way. Can an administrator on this site please explain to me why this list of irrelevant people is necessary?

I agree, that list is unneeded. The time spent making individual pages for each person who doesn't even appear in the game could have been better served doing... anything.--24.102.52.97 20:02, July 28, 2013 (UTC)

Names on the memorial

Can we get a seperate page listing all the names that appear on the memorial at Boulder City? It seems rather inappropriate to list them all individually on the Boulder City page, it clogs up the page and forces people to scroll past them to get to the useful information every time they visit the page. It would make more sense to list the names in a seperate article, that way people who care can still see the information, and those who don't aren't bothered by the inconvenience of having to scroll past useless information to get to relevant stuff.

Already have them. Yes Man default 07:15, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

THE REFINERY/THE CEMENT MIXING WORKS???

OK are these one and the same place - the barkeeper in Boulder refers to a CEMENT MIXING WORKS near to the town and I have yet to come across anything else that could be it? Also I have not come across anything that makes reference to any REFINERY so I am not sure why the area has been called this in this wikia?

Honoured not Honored

There is a spelling mistake in the title of the section List of honored servicemen as it should be List of honoured servicemen

Map Marker Bug

Not sure where this bug is coming from but the Boulder City Map Marker won't update as my having discovered it. Tiger8u2 (talk) 04:26, August 5, 2013 (UTC)
