CoS camp needed. dotz

God, I want this to be real. I miss Black Isle's games... I might take it upon myself to write about this. Paladin Oor-Tael 13:20, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Haha OWB back that, it's real ;). Itachou [~talk~] 15:02, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

Split

There is no reason whatsoever for merging the article back. Avellone stated that the Circle in OWB is the first Van Buren iteration one, created while he was still working on Van Buren at Black Isle. Available design documents contain information only on the later iterations of the faction. Furthermore, the Van Buren information is entirely inconsistent with New Vegas, as the entire NCR-Brotherhood conflict has been rewritten and its scope changed. Next, Circle of Steel members developed psychological disorders as a result of their prolonged use of Stealth Boys. Christine, despite being an active member, shows not one hint of such disabilities throughout the course of two DLCs. Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 14:51, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

I agree. Plus, the reason invoked for the merge is that NV's Circle has been confirmed as VB's Circle ... Which is somewhat false. The Circle from VB we know about isn't the Circle Avellone was talking about. Xporc 19:05, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

I don't know. Others that are only mentioned in FONV that you actually find in VB, the Ciphers, Hangsdog tribe, and Twin Mothers, their history seems to be accepted. Caesar even tells you he has captured a few BOS patrolling his most eastern borders, which would be in southern Colorado. That is very close to the Maxson Bunker. I feel Chris Avellone wanted to keep the history behind the COS just reapply what he made them out to be in the first place, just BOS hardliners, not some evil faction. Plus Christine could have been a descendant from the original COS. If you disagree, then there is no history at all concerning the COS, except Christine's presence.--Wert1978 (talk) 21:13, June 10, 2013 (UTC)
