Dawes hostile when PGs are not

For those of you who have Vilified reputation with Powder Gangers yet still want to do their quests and console commands boosting reputation with PG (f.e setreputation) seem to have no effect on Dawes, read below.

Just had the same issue having 'Idolized' reputation with Powder Gangers. Had a eureka of my own.

Everything is quite simple: Dawes IS NOT in Powder Gangers faction. That can be considered a bug, so all you need to so is to add him back to faction (considered you've already adjusted reputation to Shunned or above in case you were Vilified):

• move close enough to him (so you see his figure and can click on him);
• open console;
• click on him with your left mouse button;
• enter 'addtofaction 00101f42 0' (without quotes);
• close console.

Try this approach, should fix the issue.

Possible Bug

Although I did assist Joe Cobb in "Run Goodsprings Run" and the quest was marked as success, Dawes still wanted a payment. I do not know if it was because I reached the prison from the side (I did not go through the main gate). I reloaded the save and went through the main gates and Dawes let me in without paying him.
